Aegislash, Doublade and Honedge can sometimes be observed “hibernating” underground
These Pokémon will seek out and repurpose old Diggersby dens located near graveyards. These dens are well hidden, with only Aegislash’s shield being visible from the outside. They use these durable shields to block the entrance and will hold this position until they are ready to emerge, often several weeks later.
Though the purpose of this behaviour is not yet fully understood, the close proximity to graveyards have led researchers to suggest it may be a sort of nesting ritual.
This theory claims that newly hatched Honedge spend their first few weeks in a dormant state while absorbing nearby spiritual energy. This may help nurture their spectral powers.
It is recommended that all graveyards regularly check surrounding areas for signs of these burrows.
Attempts to access the burrow, remove the shield or otherwise disturb the Pokémon inside is highly discouraged.
One thing I think would be really cool but would probably never happen on account of how unsettling or even gruesome they can get is if we ever got some animated horror shorts fully based on the Pokedex entries.
I've been wanting to make a Pokemon x detective conan au, and make of this what you will, but Gabite will be such a good pokemon for Jirokichi when challenging KID
Pokemon number 578: Karatonka, evolves into Gratonka (Fighting Spirit Pokemon)
Fighting/Ghost (HT 0.75m/WT 0.5Kg)
If you live in a big city, you can find groups of Karatonka fighting in back alleys after dark. they live in colonies in people's trash cans and dumpsters and like to organize tournaments to decide who gets to sleep in the best trash. It is said they are born from the fighting spirit of pokemon who died too young.
I made my first ever pokemon design! I chose an animal (raccoon) and used an online type randomizer. It was a fun experiment and I really like the result :)
While Hattrem looks adorable, according to its pokedex entry it will beat up anyone who emitts strong emotions. Doesn't matter if it's positive or negative. Its reasoning is that strong emotions feel like a loud noise to it.
in an interesting turn of events, jelewire has evolved into aurelegraph!
this is one of my favorites so far. unfortunately we're almost caught up to the designs i had backlogged, which means posting fakemon might be a little less frequent for me due to school :( but i hope to be making more soon!
- Roarscars: The pounce pokemon.
- Roarscars hides amongst the Sakura Blossom trees of Jadefire, looking for its next victim to jab with its sharp, absol like tail.
