i thought i'd posted it before but here's a little run down on all the cipher scripts used in the core pokemon games. Only the Unown and the Abyssal Ruins are actually consistent to an actual alphabet, the galar/paldea is circumstantial/fluid, and the kanto/sinnoh/hisui appear to be almost entirely random, so not really "ciphers" at all.

After all the regional forms and convergent evolutions, I kinda shocked we haven't had any new Unown. It'd be pretty cool to have a convergent unknown. It's funny actually that they're only found in the japan analogous regions and none of the western ones.

Who knows what this makes any of the team logos since most of those roman character don't exist in world unless you count unowns.

also the new supposed Z-A leaks seem to show a totally different script which i think is the one they use in the anime, in addition to the returning galar/paldea script. i dont know if that makes those leaks seem more or less legit and im not really in the business of entertaining the whole leak game that precedes every major pokemon release.
