"You always do this shit. Why do you keep asking me that?" Shawn groaned in annoyance as he slammed the refrigerator door.

"Well I can't help it. Sometimes it just feels like you don't even love me anymore. You haven't even took me on a date in a fucking year." You choked back tears as you studied his movements. Shawn then decided to walk up to you, he pushed you down onto a chair, pointing a finger at you. "You're a bitch. You constantly fucking say 'do you even love me anymore?' Of course I fucking do. I don't take you on dates because your always busy with that dumb job. Plus, I think your cheating. Who's that guy you've been texting.. Miguel? Yeah, you didn't think I saw that on your phone? What fucking guy asks a girl 'You free tonight?' You got something you wanna tell me?"

You stared up at him, you felt tears form in your eyes as you stared at him. "M-Miguel is a friend. He's just a friend I've met at work! I wouldn't cheat on you and you know that. I see him nothing more than a close friend. Sometimes we hangout and eat dinner together that's it." You choked back your tears as she you stared at him, fidgeting with the bottom of your shirt.

"Uh-huh. Whatever you fucking say. I'm going out, don't call me." Shawn scoffed as he stormed off out of the apartment, slamming the door behind him.

You stared off into the distance before bursting out into tears, all these bottled up emotions were now coming out. You've been dealing with this toxic relationship for so long.. You didn't know how to get out of it though. You felt so attached to him.. emotionally. He's the only boy to ever lay eyes on you, sure you may had a huge glow up since highschool, but deep down you still felt insecure. You sniffed as your last few tears dropped, then you heard your phone vibrate against the table, you picked it up and saw it was Miguel. You wiped your tears away as you cleared your throat and answered.

"Hey." You said in a soft voice.

"Hey.. You sound weird. Are you alright?" Miguel responded, furrowing his brows at the tone of your voice.

"Yeah, just allergies." You giggled.

"Yknow.. If anything is bothering you, you can always talk to me." Miguel spoke in a stern voice.

"I-.."

"Tell me."

"I don't know.. I just don't want anything bad to happen."

"Nothing is going to happen, I wouldn't let a thing happen to you. Talk to me."

"It's my boyfriend."

Miguel scoffed.

"What?"

"Nothing."

"Well anyways, Shawn is accusing me of cheating. Just because we hang out. He thinks just because you asked me if im free tonight that I'm hooking up with you or some shit, it's annoying. I would never cheat, I love him so much."

"Oh... I see. So, he's jealous of me?"

"I guess."

Miguel smirked, "He's jealous because I'm treating you the way any other man would treat a wonderful woman like you. 8 years together and still no ring, he's not worth it. Not at all."

"But I love him. He's just going through a lot.."

"And he takes his anger out on you."

"Well.. I don't mind."

"Are you being serious right now?"

"Yes, I'm not a good girlfriend to him anyways."

"Whatever, stop talking about him. Let's focus on us, hm?"

"Yeah.."

"Great. Soo.. still gonna go out with me tonight?"

"We're not going out together. We're two friends hanging out."

"Still, you wanna go? I have no plans.. "

"Yeah, I'm going still."

"Great, I'll pick you up."

"Okay, bye."

"Bye." You hung up.

"Love you too." Miguel whispered at his phone. He sighed and sat it down on the table. He chewed on the inside of his cheek. God, he was head over heels for you. Although you two barely even met, he felt so close to you already. Call him obsessed with the way he remembers every single detail. Miguel stood up, and walked over to a window, looking out at the city. He had a great paying job, which was the reason he would be able to afford all of those dates. And there should be no surprise that he lives in a penthouse, his apartment was black and red themed, definitely gave off a romantic vibe.

..You put on a white sweater with a casual jean skirt along with white legwarmers to give it a more cozy vibe, and black boots to top off the outfit, the outfit was cute so of course you did a half up half down hairstyle while slipping a white bow in your hair. You were fixing your lashes that you were putting on before you heard the doorbell ring, you gasped when you knew it was Miguel. "Shit!" You scattered around the room to find your purse, you snatched it up when you found it laying on the ground. You made sure to spray yourself with some perfume before dashing out to the door. You took a deep breath before opening it, looking up.. you saw Miguel.

Miguel.. That man knew how to take your breath away. He wore a white sweater and jeans.. just like you did. You glanced down at what was in his arms.. purple roses?

"Heh, seemed like we decided to match." Miguel chuckled to himself as he invited himself in ,walking past you he looked around, peeked around the corner, then back at you. Scrunching up his nose he asked, "Where's that boyfriend of yours?"

"He went out.." You closed the door and bit your lip as you watched him, eyes examining his strong build before he handed you the flowers.

"Purple roses, just like you told me you liked. I thought since you liked the color purple and roses that'll I'll get you both instead." Miguel hummed.

"Thank you, they're beautiful." You smiled to yourself, you grabbed a empty vase, feeling it with a little bit of water. You sat it down on the middle of the table, taking the roses out of the plastic before slipping them into the vase smiling at them.

Miguel looked at you, his eyes seemed to narrow as he watched the way you moved across the kitchen. You were kinda like a swan, all graceful and soft with your movements better yet you could be a goddess. A goddess who deserves more in her life then some poor idiot. Miguel scoffed and looked off to the side as he just thought about your boyfriend, the way he treated you.. he hated it.

"What's wrong? You look upset." You looked at him before stepping close to him. Miguel turned his head to look back into those eyes of yours, he licked his lips as he felt his throat go dry.

"Nothing." Miguel closed his eyes and sighed, that vanilla perfume you wore was starting to drive him crazy. "Let's go, Hopefully you don't mind walking. It's not too far from your apartment."

"Fine with me." You smiled.

You two made your way out of the apartment making your way down the streets of Nueva York, the streets were crowded so you held onto Miguel's arm as in hopes to not lose him. Soon, you two made it to the restaurant. It seemed to be a fun little colorful spot filled with laughter and a live jazz band playing.

Your eyes widened with excitement at the vibes this whole place gave off, it was so colorful.. it smelled absolutely amazing, there was nothing but happiness all around. You and Miguel found a spot to sit next to near the band so you could watch them play.

Miguel pulled out your chair, when you sat down, he pushed it in before sitting down himself. He watched you as you smiled watching the band play, seeing your smile.. the way your smile stretched across ear from ear, the way your dimples showed. It felt like he was trapped. Trapped in this curse you had put on him, he bit his lip as you looked over at him, you two locking eyes. He felt his heart pound in his chest, only God knows how long he has been staring at you.

You looked up as a waiter walked over with a big grin, handing you two a menu. "Hello, hopefully you two are enjoying your evening so far. I'll be your waiter, any drinks I can start you guys off with. We have soda, water, some wine.. and don't miss out on our little deal for couples!"

"Oh we're not a couple. Just friends." Miguel cleared his throat, you nodded your head in agreement.

"..Oh. Well, how about you skip over that deal." The waiter chuckled nervously.

"Uhh.. I'll have a coke. You, Miguel?" You smiled at him.

" I'll have iced tea." He looked back at you.

"Okay, okay.. I'll get those ready right quick!" The waiter walked off.

"Thank you for bringing me here. I like it.. It's been awhile since my boyfriend and I been out together, it just feels nice to not be trapped in that apartment." You sighed as you looked into the distance.

Miguel reached his hand across the table, placing his hand on top of yours. He dragged his thumb across the back of your soft hands. "Leave him."

"What?" Your frowned at him. "That's a weird thing to say." You laughed.

"No, I'm being serious." Miguel squeezed your hand, "I.. I think I'm in love with you. You're so beautiful and just overall perfect, someone like him doesn't deserve you. I can treat your better, I wanna be yours."

You stared into his eyes as you listened to his love confession, you shook your head. "No.. No I can't. Miguel.. I have feelings for you too but I just can't leave Shawn. He's.. He's my boyfriend, he's the only guy I've ever been with."

"Let me be the second and last guy you'll ever be with."

"Miguel." You cocked a eyebrow at him.

"Y/N." Again, he rolled your name off of his tongue in such a way that it made your body ache for him.

The waiter came over and sat your drinks down, holding up her notepad as she smiled at you both. "What can I get for ya?"

..About a good hour and a half later, you and Miguel were walking down the street. "Wanna come over to my place, maybe we can watch a movie or two..?"

"Sounds nice" you smiled softly.

"Great. Let me call a uber."

And after a good ten minutes, you finally arrived at his place. When he opened the door, you gasped. "Oh my god.. It's like a vampire lives here." You joked, looking around. Everything was so nice, way better than your old apartment. You started to walk around, dragging your hands along the wall as you made your way over to the window that overlooked the city. It was night, so the city lights were so bright, everything looked like dream as if it could take your breath away.

Miguel followed you, moving to stand right behind you. "Nice, isn't it?"

"Yeah.." You whispered, looking up at him.

Miguel brushed a strand of hair out of your face as you two locked eyes, his lips parted as his heart nearly skipped a beat. He felt as if his heart was running laps around his lungs as if it was going to do a back as if.. and something soft touched his lips before he knew. Suddenly, his hands found their way to your waist, pushing you closer.

You wrapped your arms around Miguel's neck, closing your eyes as you leaned into the kiss. It was so passionate, you had to part your lips just to deepen the kiss. The feel his hands on your waist was driving you crazy.

Suddenly, Miguel pulled away, He stared into your eyes. "God you drive me crazy.."

"Where's your bedroom?" You asked with a smirk on your face. Suddenly your at home life didn't exist, suddenly Shawn didn't exist. Suddenly Miguel was the only man you wanted, suddenly.. you were in his bed.

You two continued to kiss, practically trying to eat each other's face off at this point. You were desperately lifting Miguel's shirt up, trying to get a glimpse of those muscles. Miguel pulled away, lifting up his sweater and tossing it aside. He exposed those strong abs along with those strong pecs, god the way his body slimmed down at his waist honestly drove you crazy. You bit your lip as you caressed those strong arms of his giggling as you sat up, allowing Miguel to take off your sweater too.

Miguel leaned in, pecking kisses along your neck. He mumbled soft praises along your tender skin, hands on your waist dragging down to your skirt. You couldn't help but feel desperate, the way he unbuttoned your skirt with ease, nearly tearing it off he finally toss them aside, exposing your panties to him. You grabbed your phone and sighed, you stood up and answered the phone.

"WHERE THE FUCK ARE YOU? You haven't been answering your fucking phone, You weren't at the fucking apartment. Your friends said you aren't with them. Where the fuck are you? Huh? Answer me damnit." Shawn grinned his teeth to try and keep his composure.

Just as you felt tears fill up your eyes.. and just as you were about to speak, Miguel snatched your phone. "Hello?" Miguel asked.

"Who the fuck is this? Why the fuck are you with my girlfriend?"

"..The same guy she told you not to worry about." Miguel hung up the phone.

Also, I have a feeling Buckaroo will insert himself into the mission and somehow one thing leads to another, and then the revelation (the stomach bug, Jeremiah, the *cough* sex in russia🤮). Lastly, maaaaaaybe a showdown between Bucket and Joseph? CHILLSSSS….

Yay! I'm so happy you loved it! Pissed!Pocket is so much fun to write. Like, girl is take no prisoners; she's so over it. I like to imagine that Bucket and Steveoli's fight was very homoerotic (especially once Pocket poured that water on them, cause now they're all wet), and that they continued to punch the snot out of each other once Pocket and Sam left. So, for Pocket's new hair, I had this mental image in mind, and when I got your message, I went searching for something that encapsulated it. This was the closest I could find:

Bucket is definitely desperate rn. He's starting to really see that his actions are having very really consequences-- whenever he messed up before, Pocket was always willing to forgive him, and now, not only is she not forgiving him, she's not even speaking to him. It's throwing him (not that he doesn't deserve it or shouldn't have seen it coming, of course).

Steveoli was decent in his interaction with Pocket, but a lot of it was out of guilt. Would he have stopped it, himself? Who can say? Oh wait, me. I can say. No he would not have. He's not evil, but he's been selfish, and he's finally starting to see that here. I love hearing everyone's theories based on the chapter titles; they make me smile! Let's see... what can I say about Unprotected? It's got double meaning. Maybe triple meaning? UGH, too much possibility to give things away. Welcome to part 1 of this little series! For those who have been following me for a while know that I also did a nicknames headcanon for the LU boys! I'm keeping these two series as different as possible cause-- they are a WHOLE different set of characters! Hope you enjoy!

This boy- my lord is he oh so UNEXPERIENCED with love and romantic relationships! Yes, he had quite a few admirers but that didn't really mean anything in your's two relationship, so petnames and terms of endearment were actually a little bit of a struggle for the hero to get a grasp of!

Link is much MUCH more likely to use the petnames below but (due to Sky's pestering--) he did come up with a little endearment meant for you. The first time he called you his dream was after a less than restful night of sleep. You laid beside him, looking as beautiful as ever with your arms wrapped around him. Even when his mind was haunted with doubts and regrets, you'll be right there to keep his mind clear. You really were a dream to the boy.

Ah yes, a classic among men (gn) /j When you two first started dating it was the hesitant go to nickname for the boy. He was SO nervous to call you it for the first time, kinda scared of offending or upsetting u. Yet, he was very pleasantly surprised at the sight of a giddy smile and crinkled eyes plastered on your face when he first stuttered out the name.

Honey

SKY DEF RECOMMENDED THIS TO HIM LMAOO!! Link nearly DIED out of embarrassment when his mentor gave him the idea, quickly shrinking in on himself and offering a sheepish 'thank you.' And you wanna know the funny thing? Its one of your favourite things EVER-- LIKE you can and will throw the endearment back at him with so much glee he will melt into the floor RIGHT THEN AND THERE!!!

OKAY HERE ME OUT ON THIS ONE-- He heard it from one of Link's friends/admirers and FELL IN LOVEEEEE with the cute name! The man uses it with such gusto and dramatics that you'd THINK he was being ironic with it BUT NOPPPEE!!!! This man just loves the lovely dovey feeling the name brings and can't help but play up the new favourite nickname!

Link has been known to groan aloud whenever he hears Sky call you it-- not out of disgust or embarrassment but from the pure fact that he literally can NOT believe an ancient spirit-- HIS MENTOR-- is using such 'modern' slang (okay maybe he is a BIT embarrassed)

Rain Cloud

If you're more of a grumpier or mellow person, Sky would definitely call you his little rain cloud (as along as you're alright with it!), lacing every syllable with every ounce of love he holds in his soul for you. WHICH IS QUITE A BIT-- Like this man can and will brighten your day with a simple petname because of just how IN LOVE he sounds when it rolls off his tongue!

Love Bug

If you can't tell, the hero of the sky has a deep love and appreciation for cute pet names for his even cuter lover!! He normally calls you his 'love bug' whenever the two of you are having a more romantic/intimate moment together!

The word ghosts over the shell of your ear, warm breath bring you back to your lover's warm embrace. You can feel the slight rumble in his chest against your back as a quiet but joyous giggle bounces around, trapped in his ever growing chest so filled with love you think it might burst one day. You can help the smile the spreads across your ever warming face.

Time

Perfection

You, his lover, can't be anything BUT perfect in his eyes! Even if he doesn't express it to you verbally he whole heartedly believes that not even the golden three can compare to you. And this could be early into the relationship, so you just start crying. you don’t mean to cry. In fact, you’ve been holding it for so long. But maybe he just said something that struck a nerve with you, or the more you argue the more frustrated/tired you got of holding it all in.

so you’re standing there crying, wiping your tears and sniffing softly. maybe billy had his back turned towards you in frustration when you started crying, so he didn’t immediately notice. but when he noticed the room got quieter and he hears you sniffing he turns around and just stands there.

tbfh, i don’t see him instantly being apologetic. he might just stand there for a while before going to comfort you. he’d hug you and whisper sweet nothings and maybe just be like “let’s stop fighting,�� bc of course he’s not going to apologize. you both know nothing’s gonna change after this, and you’ll always come back to him. literally so exhausting, which makes me think of something else that I can talk about later, but anyways like you don't think you've been able to go more then three maybe four months max without having a big blow up fight, and ofc there's smaller fights in between.

but this time you feel like you're losing touch with reality because you'd just been out for a couple of hours, ate dinner with a friend, picked a couple things up from the store. you knew billy was in one of us moods and had been for a hot sec, but when you get back to your hotel room you open the door to find him, on the bed, doing drugs with some groupies who've clearly been feeling him up.

they look at him, and you, back to him, and you, he's smoking a joint without a care in the world and you make a gesture for them to leave. with an eye roll from one of them, they're leaving, you can see the hickies, he's so fucking disgusting. one of the girls is walking past you and you smell and unmistakable scent, "oh my god, are you wearing my fucking perfume? what the fuck, billy." you look back at him who says nothing as you shut the door behind them, quickly finding your perfume without the lid on and fixing that problem asap.

"what the fuck, baby, I can drink with whoever I want too, it's my hotel room. get off my ass."

"I'm not on your ass, all I asked about was my perfume!"

"oh my god!" you start throwing blankets off the bed, pulling off the sheets. "what the hell are you doing?"

"it's fucking disgusting, billy. have at least a little fucking decency next time." he's getting off the bed which only allows you to take off the rest of the bedsheets.

"I didn't do anything, we were just having a drink. you're my girl, you know that." he's such a liar and you can feel how much your heart is racing as you pick up the phone, dialing up room service. asking as politely as you can for new sheets even though your voice is shaking. a flash of something lacy catches your eyes, and you instantly know the pair of panties isn't yours. there should be more hesitation when you go to pick it up, but there isn't. and you're on it the moment you hang up the phone.

"fucking disgusting!" you throw it on the pile of sheets.

"I didn't ask anyone to do anything, I didn't do anything! can't even smoke a goddamn joint anymore." he's making you feel hysterical, like you're the one unhinged, but you're not the one who constantly has other women draped over you everytime you're upset. "what do you want me to do when you're not around?"

"am I supposed to just wait around all the time? what do you want from me?" you're exhausted, this is so tiring, but you should have expected that. he was a rockstar, and no one was perfect.

"need you to be there for me! you've got one job, if you can't do it I'm sure I can find someone else who can!" a knock on the door interrupts everything, it's housekeeping. there's an awkward silence of you taking the new sheets, giving her the old, leading her out the door. billy does a line in the silence and you resent him for it, how can he just keep going when you're trying to get through to him. as she leaves you see eddie. he's just standing in the hallway and gives you an 'are you okay?' look and you hate that he knows you so well.

"stay in your lane, eddie." billy is suddenly behind you, closing the door, arm extended over you.

you turn around, back resting on the door, hands rubbing your face. "billy, what are we?" there's a beat before he tries to kiss, you like that'll answer anything. maybe he's hoping since it's only been a few months, only a few fights it'll fix everything. you let him for a second before pulling away, hand resting on his chest. "billy."

then he's yelling again, "you always act like you deserve more from me, you're a fucking groupie, and you don't have to be the only one." you dodge around him, grabbing a bag, throwing your stuff into it. "pulling that shit again doesn't change anything, you can't expect me to have the same spot waiting for you when you come crawling back."

"you can't expect me to want you back when you call because nobody does it for you like me." you've thrown is some shirts, some pants, anything you can.

he's closer to you now, face barely inches from yours. "anyone can wear your perfume and be just as much of a leech as you are."

you're shoving him away from you, "fuck you!"

"it's the only thing you're good at." his smirk is fucking sickening, and even more so that his hair so messy makes him look so sexy.

"you're the worst, billy." your voice is a lot weaker now, he's always so harsh with his words. your chest hurts.

"that must be why you're so desperate, so fucking jealous. there will always be girls just like you." he's going to take another line and you can't hold back anymore. you feel the warm tears streaming down your face and give up on zipping the bag to cover your face. it's too much, you just want to feel secure in your relationship, whatever type of relationship this may be. and you are whenever he's not being like this.

you're lost in the silence of the sobs racking through your chest, it's embarrassing to be crying like this in front of him, it makes you feel young, weak, not mature enough to be with billy dunne but once you've started you can't stop anymore. you don't know how long had passed when his arms are around you, letting you cry into his chest instead. "c'mere baby, let's not fight anymore." he reeks of whiskey and cigarettes, but it's weirdly comforting. "let's go get some ice cream, I'll show you some stuff I've been working on, don't like fighting with my girl." you know that soon enough he'll be all drunk again, pissy, tell you how replaceable you are, but right now he'll make you feel like that's not true and so maybe it's worth it.

and the next morning you're eating breakfast in the hotel lobby and eddie is sulking. looking at you as he thinks about how you deserve to not be told how you mean nothing and then briefly made up to. you deserve to really be loved. he keeps looking at you and billy sees it. sees the way eddie stars at you, how eddie has always stared at you, and he despises it. because despite everything you're his, his inspiration, his muse, and he's pulling you from standing up into his lap. and you're laughing, asking what he's doing before he kisses you.

"just kissing my girl."

Happy STS! Which of your characters do you think would be most popular among cosplayers? If you had to pick one of your OCs to cosplay, who would it be?

Oh heck yea! Thanks for the ask; I lowkey forgot that STS was a thing

So, I loooove cosplay as an art form/means of having fun! I used to do it more when I was younger, and I still dress up for cons/fan themed events. I also follow a lot of cosplay content online. I must admit that I think about the cosplay-ability of my characters a LOT. Like, every author wants a screen adaptation/a fully VA'd audiobook/whatever, but I specifically want silly creative ppl on the internet to dress up as my lads!!

That being said, I have many opinions on this front.

Taking a broad look at the Heart of Lead universe, I think it would offer a lot of different options to cosplayers. I could see the extended cast catering to people of all skill levels and interests, at least in terms of character design. You got regular-ass humans with one or two defining physical traits (although someone could always go in for more detail, because of the Victorian-fantasy clothes)! You also got characters with A.) complicated armor/uniforms/gowns, B.) wings/fangs/assorted fantastical traits, and C.) like,,, props?? Like there is a very large, somewhat evil sentient sword in this universe, and I would die happy if someone made their own for cosplay purposes. I would DIE.

All that in mind, here are the characters I think would be the most popular to cosplay, based on my observations of present-day cosplay communities online. I've given all them "most ___" awards, for funsies.

Dale Porter – most popular. No contest whatsoever. Sarcastic, evil, conventionally attractive white man. People love to cosplay characters with this profile; it's inescapable, and somewhat obnoxious. He's also fairly easy to cosplay, I would argue, as long as u got a white wig. (I would not personally cosplay him. He is my pookie but he can go ROT.)

Rosalind Lake – most sexy. If you want to wear an ostentatious dress and look hot in a femme way, here ya go. She's not the most important character, but her look is distinctive and fun. (I would definitely cosplay Rosalind.)

Wren Dorian – most steampunk. Listen, if you love steampunk/gaslamp fantasy/cabaret rock aesthetics, she is your GIRL. Big curly hair, big boots, massive belt full of tools, potentially goggles if you're feeling really fancy. Wren also gets some interesting design variations throughout the series that make her even cooler. (I would cosplay Wren. I have closet-cosplayed her before.)

Nicolas – most edgy. At least, that's how I think people would cosplay him. He wears a black trench coat and fingerless gloves for like half of the series; he has emo boy hair; he lowkey looks like Dream of the Endless. I'm not going to spoil his magical abilities, which make him EVEN EDGIER, but those exist, and they also impact his physical appearance. He's a sweetie boy baby who cries a whole lot, but he LOOKS very cool to one's inner 13-year-old. (I would cosplay Nicolas, and I have closet-cosplayed him before!)

Vesper – most fantasy. They're a faerie. He has wings. Their magic turns their eyes and fingers black. He wears sickass gender-nonconforming outfits, including such articles as capes and tiaras. If I was actually going to pour tens of hours into creating a cosplay from the HoL universe, I would 100% cosplay Vesper. They look cool as hell. (Also, fun personality – he's very outgoing and sweet!)

I'll leave it there for now, but I genuinely have SO many more opinions about HoL cosplay potentiality. There are options for the ppl who only cosplay evil dilfs,,,, for ppl who like to play princess dress-up,,,,, for ppl who incorporate gore and horror elements into their cosplays,,,,, we've got it all!!

(Now to get about FINISHING and PUBLISHING these books, so ppl can feasibly do this. Lmao.)

this might be the hardest question im gonna answer in my entire life.. *proceeds to respond with the longest word vomit ever known to mankind*

1.) i am a certified lottie matthews gurlie : )) she's just been such an interesting character throughout the series like i never really know what's going on with her (im pretty sure pookie doesn't either even if she insists she does lol.. istg every lottie scene is just me being absolutely flabbergasted and in a constant state of “WTF?”) and i know they all experienced varying degrees of trauma (i dont wanna turn this into a competition of who's had it the hardest pre and post crash) but i think lottie's character has one of the most tragic storyline, esp her life post-crash

2.) RESIDENT COLD GIRL JACKIE TAYLOR! this gurl was serving nothing but iconic vibes and lesbian comphet behavior and i am here for it. i was honestly surprised to learn that a lot of ppl dont like jackie cause she was a bit of a spoiled brat and while i do agree (cz she is LMFAO pooks literally died of pettiness) i feel like it's not necessary to paint her as either black or white cause she's also got a really complex character. like sure she has her mean girl moments (mostly because of the environment she was raised in and i think she wasn't really aware of that trait until shauna brought it up during their fight) but she's rarely ever malicious and i think she would've outgrown that trait given the chance. but also it could just be because im a sucker for mean-girl-highschool-queen-bee characters making me a huge jackie taylor apologist !

3.) misty quigley. no words of appreciation for her—maybe her (tho unplaced and is often expressed in the wrong ways)—loyalty and dependability, still tho she was literally just straight up batshit insane.. she killed 2 people (??), is responsible for them being trapped in the wilderness, and honestly speaking needs to be admitted to the ward cause that girl is psychotic but adult misty was so funny, she immediately became a fav.

ALSO must insert the yj background characters, i dont know their names i only know akilah and mari, but i love those girls so much season 2 was absolutely unhinged cause the mains are going through a horror show and these bitches r in the background like it's a mf camping trip playing cards and are like “.. oof bestie 👀 would you look at that? it's snowing pretty hard bet it's freezing cold out there 👀 ngl itd be nice to have a lottie mat-stew right now 🤤 but i do hope she gets home safely 😥... just.. you know hahah... if she ever happens to.. yk 🥰”

i was obsessed with this song when i was first getting into avatar + the fandom. so, my brain automatically associates this song with neteyam. something about this song is just so dreamy (just like neteyam) LMFKDDDK i wish i had a better explanation but i don’t? this song is beautiful but also something about it is so sad..just like our pookie 😭❤️ but if i had to pick artists, neteyam would listen to indie bands and r&b like kiri. also some rap. Frank ocean, daniel Caesar, etc.

he listens to whatever teenage boys listen to. 100 gecs, nba youngboy, playboy carti, lil uzi. these artists have fandoms that are borderline cool and cringe, which i think fits lo’ak. because lo’ak would be a cool boy, but i know he’s cringe too. which song in specific?? woke up like dis by carti b would be his song.

just like neytiri, i think she would like more spiritual music or slow, relaxing music too. i can’t think of any specific song, so i’ll give you a list of artists. kiri would definitely listen to mitski, the marias, clairo, cigarette after sex, but also sza and harry styles. if she listens to taylor, it’s definitely folklore and evermore but that’s it. i feel like some of these artists have some spiritual or at least introspective quality to their music that kiri would appreciate?

what do little kids even listen to this day??? i have 3 younger siblings and couldn’t tell you 😭 but tuk, you can tell she’s going to grow into a dynamic character and i picture her as being this ball of light and positivity. so for those reasons, she’s gonna listen to kpop. but specifically bubblegum kpop and girl groups. any song with a upbeat rhythm and catchy chorus. especially the newer generation!!! some of my favorite bubblegum kpop songs are ASAP by stayc, likey by twice, like u like u by dia! any songs with easy dances tuk would like. also….while kiri would listen to new taylor songs, tuk would love fearless and speak now and 1989!! pop queen <3
