I was working with my mentor yesterday when one of his clients brought in a kāhu (swamp harrier) and a least weasel that he wanted mounted together.
I will not be mounting these, nor do they belong to me, but I wanted to mention them anyway because they're cool. The kāhu has quite unique colours, their heads aren't usually so light!
I am very sad that there's basically no Nestor appearances or media in English or outside Brazil. Because from all I read he's very witty and charming and he needs to be used WAY more outside the Brazil comics. Also he's kinda attractive...
OH the hardships of being a Nestor lover... BUT YEAH, I so wish we could get more of the Zé Carioca characters in other media, but I think the rest of Disney is not really a fan of the way the Brazilian comics are...
Anyways I wish I stilll had screenshots to ilustrate this but I think it's mainly in the stories drawn by Paulo Borges (if I'm not mistaken) that Nestor really gets this look on his face where you can see him being absolutely fed up with Zé's antics.
I don't remember if I've ever shown my vulture culture display here but after fixing a few things that fell over I figured I'd take some snaps
We have: many different whitetail deer, an armadillo(it still needs a bath shhh), bobcat, golden retriever, 2 racoons, an opossum, gray fox, and cow mandibles (WAS a whole skull but the actual skull was stolen. Man I do not miss apartments), and a whole shed of I think a garter snake.
All bones I found and cleaned myself except the bobcat that I got in a trade and the fox that my BIL found and gave me. All the taxidermy fur pieces were trades too.
Eventually I need to get the rest of my bones out of storage, been really wanting to put my catfish in the display.
@taciturnout asked; “Don’t listen to this old fossil. The only thing he could defeat is a glass of warm milk.” Stinger proceeds to slap The Vulture on his bald ass head

Although it had been observed that O'Hara had seem to a lack a sense of humour, the quip made at the Vulture's expense earned a sharp exhale, barely attributable to a chuckle. The rare sound came accompanied with a slight shake of head, a visible rebuke that's visible for a moment before stopping, as usual stoic manner re-established itself.
"Just make sure you don't give him a concussion." His words emerge shortly after Stinger's action, gaze fixed exclusively on the old buzzard as he weighs up their available options. At a glance, the villain appeared to fit with the world around them, eliminating the need for Miguel to intervene. But it did not mean that the Spider was completely through with the old timer.
"I've got a couple of questions to ask him." Such as an explanation for how Toomes came to possess technology that hailed from his world of the future, pre-empting the date of their invention and production by a matter of decades.
Hawk wing from a big roadkill female kāhu (swamp harrier). I cannot emphasise how large it is, this box is 60cm long.
I'm pinning it out to dry now. Unfortunately the other wing was too much of a mess to save. The skull had cracked into three big pieces (presumably this was the cause of death) but I'm hoping to be able to piece it back together. I also salvaged the legs, and those are drying out now.
