"fandom is dying" is it? or is it already dead? like i don't know about you but i don't see anyone making things anymore. or if they do, they quickly tire and burn out and can't have fun with it anymore and use it as an escape, because they're stuck in a place of constant comparison: there is a certain kind of "content" (a word that makes me gag) that the new wave of 'fandom' is interested in, and that's whatever is trendy the second it's trendy for gifsets, or anything explicit for fanfiction writing. and then you also have how fanartists are treated: fic writers being compared to one another, being talked down to for how their stories ended, being run off tumblr and ao3 to the point they don't write for something that was so special for them anymore. gifmakers bust their ass making things just to have their creations stolen, get no appreciation and shares, and often have to deal with a constant stream of negativity on their sets.

the new wave of fandom just cares about what's currently trending and unsexy sex and it's so so tiring.

Starkid KH. Do you see the vision? The worlds would be Hogwarts, Bug World, The Magic Kingdom, The Oregon Trail, etc. The only issue would be picking party members for Hatchetfield because there’s so many fucking characters.

Fun fact I got into starkid and kh at around the same time, they go hand in hand (hah, kh song). I'd love to see Sora in the magic kingdom and also the tribe in firebringer specifically. The outfits would go HARD for the FB world. I've talked briefly about a twisted world, since it's so similar to Aladdin which Sora has visited so much I think he'd be confused as hell but eventually go help Jafar because he realizes "oh wait this isn't the Aladdin I know."

I'd like to see him on the bug planet specifically, we've got deep space already so we already have a ship world. The heartless would be adorable??? Maybe Pincer is corrupted by the heartless and is now using swarms of mosquito like heartless to attack the colony. Also SORA AS A BUG. FUCK YES.

A hatchetfield world I don't think would need party members, but it would be hard to find a specific timeline. If anything I'd say they would make up their own, because why not? It's KH they can do whatever they want.

When Cinderella's Castle comes out that would be an amazing kh world... it would certainly be stunning.

I think about this too much, I'd love to see SDG go to SK worlds, obviously it'll never happen but it's cool to think about. I love it when my fandoms cross over
