"That could be arranged, now on we go, we don't have all day." Brainstorm said, dragging Comet through the hallways, Comet sighed and didn't like this. But he couldn't bring himself to say no, which is a huge issue, Brainstorm finally reached his lab that lo and behold, Perceptor was in it too. Perceptor looked at the newcomers and glowered down at Brainstorm.

"Who is this, Brainstorm?" Perceptor asked with a curious look towards the newcomer, Brainstorm looked suspiciously towards his good friend and colleague but shook his helm.

"This is Comet, he's a new mech on board, and if you excuse me, I will be taking him to help with my studies." Brainstorm said, grabbing Comet's servo and walking to his little secluded room in his part of the lab. He closed the door and locked it. Comet looked around the labs, messy paperwork strewn about. Comet looked back towards Brainstorm.

"Don't touch anything." Brainstorm said sternly.

"But I thought you said-" Comet started.

"Don't interrupt me, come to the lab slab." Brainstorm said, and Comet shivered, he walked to the slab and laid upon it.

"I am not going to hurt you, there's no need to get scared." Brainstorm reassured him. That did put Comet at ease, just a little bit. But besides that, Comet didn't know what Brainstorm was planning, all he could know is that Brainstorm is planning to experiment on him! Comet was still scared and wary under the gaze of Brainstorm, and the silence, the terrible silence was killing him. But Brainstorm was looking into the optics of Comet, and smiled.

"Have you kissed anyone before?" Brainstorm asked, Comet was taken aback by that question. Why was Brainstorm asking that? Comet shifted in his spot.

"I-I um..." Comet began unsure of what to say.

Brainstorm looked at him, he was expecting an answer. "It's a yes or no question. You can answer maybe." Brainstorm said, he was oddly close to Comet.

"Well, I never really kissed anyone at all." Comet said after a few minutes. Brainstorm chuckled a bit; he only seemed to inch closer and closer.

"Is that the case?" Brainstorm asked, dropping his mask and licking his lips.

"Y-Yes..." Comet said, he looked up towards Brainstorm, his body heaved up and down from the closeness, and Brainstorm could feel the contact of his breath on his chassis. This was very awkward for Comet and Brainstorm was aware of it. But didn't say anything about the situation. He seemed to like Comet's squirming,

"If what you said was true... Then allow me to be your first..." Brainstorm starts, as if on cue, romantic music started to play in the background and Brainstorm got closer and closer towards Comet. Before a throat being cleared was heard. The music automatically stopped and Brainstorm pulled away, annoyed that he was being interrupted by whomever decided to walk in his space.

The real harm in self harm is feeling gross textures afterwords. Also I can't tell if my hands are shaking because of monster or cutting 💀.

I think the reason why self harm is so taboo is because for most people, the idea of self destruction is horrifying and repulsive. It is hardwired into our brains to fear death and injury. The reasoning seems to be more of an issue than the act itself I think? Cause scratches and cuts heal. I could be very incorrect though :/

You can, in fact, simply block people who's takes you don't like. It's free! And easy! You hit the three dots at the top of the post, it opens a drop down menu and you select "block". Now the person who you think has Bad and Evil Opinions™️ will never show up in tags for you again! Problem solved! They might, unfortunately, show up on your dashboard if someone you follow reblogs something they posted or added to, because tumblr is slightly broken in that regard, but you will be saved from their opinions in tags. And they won't be able to interact with you! And there's even a handy feature you can use to hide *all* content they've ever made/posted, even stuff you're dearly beloved mutual who thinks they're cool reblogs. You just, blacklist the username. Now they will show up as filtered content and you have to manually unhide any post that mentions their username in any way, saving you from the Opinions You Don't Like. And they're free to continue *their* internet experience without you yelling at them for tagging things with something that is a general filter/sort/information tag simply because *you* think their opinions are Bad and Don't Belong There.

As I get ready to move back into my college dorm for the spring semester, my updates will likely slow down, since it's a bit hard to find the time for personal art when all of your homework is... also art. However, I will try to finish this comic up swiftly (I already have an ending written). I have a lot more planned for this AU, though I will very likely start posting more canon-universe art as well as other media, since I know season two of OFMD is gonna hit me like a train!

could you explain the difference between delusions and paranoia ? i feel like they sorta meld into eachother as some point no ?

they do, especially persecutory delusions. but they're two different things - delusions can have no element of paranoia at all, and paranoia is not always a delusion.

delusions are strongly held beliefs that aren't true for our shared reality. these can be paranoid, but they don't have to be. examples of delusions:

bizarre delusions: beliefs that are, well, bizarre, and impossible. an example is cotard's delusion (the belief that you are dead)

non-bizarre delusions: beliefs that could theoretically be possible, such as being monitored by the FBI

mood-congruent delusions: beliefs that align with moods (usually depression or mania). an example is a person in a manic state believing they're literally unable to be harmed

mood-incongruent / mood-neutral delusions: beliefs that don't have anything to do with moods. an example is believing that your cat is a robot

paranoia is basically extreme anxiety that's been blown out of proportion. paranoia can reach delusional levels but can also be more of a low intensity type experience. examples of paranoia:

not wanting to give out personal information in case it's used against you (not delusional)

believing that your doctor is trying to get you institutionalised despite no evidence for it (delusional)

the delusion mentioned above about being stalked by the FBI would more than likely have heavy paranoia associated with it

a woman walking down the street at night being paranoid she'll get attacked could be either not delusional, or elevate to delusional levels (for example, she thinks she's being followed with the express intent to attack her, despite no one actually following her). it could also be a completely legitimate, not-paranoid fear (especially if she's had past experiences of being attacked)

both are part of psychosis, but paranoia doesn't always occur alongside psychosis (a person can have paranoia without psychosis and psychosis without paranoia), while delusions are always psychotic.
