So I'm now in possession of a hammer.

Basically, my classmates gave me a random hammer, and no instructions other than "do whatever you want with it, we're graduating in a week, have fun".

Now this is a terrible idea for MULTIPLE reasons:

Of all people in the class they gave me the hammer

I am terrible at building things

I've just accidentally bashed my knees in

There's a hole in the wall (unrelated, I swear,)

The hammer itself is pretty crappy (broken claw)

My impulse control is less than zero

...this will be fun.

The Shadowsinger rose. One hand grabbed the hilt of Truth Teller and the malicious blade sang as it was unleashed. The shadows that normally hovered about him like mist were gone. They were all around you now, tugging you in the opposite direction towards the Sidra. They pleaded for you to run, but you couldn’t understand them. Something was deeply, deeply wrong. “Az.” You begged and grabbed hold of his hand. “Please. You’re scaring me.”

Author's note: I have kept my word! Chapter 13 will be coming out tomorrow and (heads up) it's a long one. I think it's nearly 7,000 words, but I couldn't stand to break up the chapter.
