#my stuff #asks #i feel like otherwise i present the setting in a pretty accurate manner...#ive been very vocal in the past abt wanting grit and darkness and body horror in my 40k and specifically my admech #it actually irritates me in a way i'll never vocalize outside tags when i see ppl do like X Reader fanfic n stuff with primarchs or w/e #because it strikes me as interacting with the setting in a very shallow way that ignores the fact that every major character sucks somehow #like yes asmodai kitty very cute but also that is one of the most cruel and sadistic torturers the galaxy has produced outside drukhari #it's like aaron demski bowden finding out ppl wrote gay fanfic about Talos Valcoran and being like 'Are You Okay?'#just bc they're the protagonists doesn't make them any less sadistic serial killers #so seeing ppl do shipping and stuff like that wrt literally any space marines or transhumans strikes me as in poor taste in the same way #anyways i have thoughts and opinions but who cares. catboy dark angels cute.

They would and the only reason why I don't really have "celestial" entries in Clan culture expansions is just because my autism doesn't go there

I like trees and bugs and the ecological benefits of managing moorland through controlled burns vs herd grazing and this paper I found on the diet of fish in Llyn Tegid vs wider English ecosystems. But to be honest? My eyes kinda glaze over when space comes up lmao.

Too much math, not enough leeches. I'll be interested in space once they bring some leeches up there.

gojo and geto blurb that is in my head bc I just watched hidden inventory arc.

No it is not canon, no I don’t know how their powers work

AND NO THERE ARE NO SPOILERS ❤️❤️❤️

“You haven’t slept in two days, and you aren’t planning on sleeping again tonight, are you?”

I’m just so deep in thought abt this scene bc yeah. So here’s how I think the scene shoulda gone bc Gege is a coward:

The two nights of not sleeping were catching up to him, and Gojo feels like he’s going to die on day three. His body feels like a lead weight, and he can barely move. His eyes are burning, but he can’t dare to close them. He has to keep on full alert for… reasons.

Geto comes in and sees him in the state he’s in. His heart immediately drops. Gojo looks like he’s about to collapse.

He comes up next to the chair and places a hand on the white-haired sorcerer’s shoulder. The man jumps a good few feet in the air. “Shit- Suguru, you scared me.”

“Sorry, Satoru,” Geto whispers. “How’re ya’ holding up?”

“Decent,” Gojo hums, accentuated with a yawn. “I think I can smell shapes now.”

The brunette exhales a chuckle, kneeling to the left of the chair. “Yeah? What does a circle smell like?”

“Like a-“ he yawns, subsequently rubbing his sore temples. “Like- like uh- yeah.”

“I agree,” Suguru replies, turning off the lamp before slowly bringing his hand up to thumb at his friend’s thigh. “I’m sorry you have to be up for so long.”

The two are left in darkness, causing Gojo to release a loud sigh of relief “I’ll be fine… I’ve got you with me.”

The whisper in Gojo’s tone lets Geto know that his friend is about to cry. “Switch with me.”

“What?”

“I said switch. Let me sit.”

“Hah? Suguru-“

“Satoru, stand up.”

Begrudgingly, and with great effort, Gojo manages to stay upright for about four seconds before his knees and thighs fail and send him back down. He sits in the brunette’s lap, head hanging low.

“There you go… yeah… shh… let go, Satoru; it’s okay...” Geto soothes as he pushes the latter’s head against his chest. “You just get some sleep, and I will keep watch.”

“But-“

“Satoru-“

“Suguru, I can’t.” There’s pain in his voice. Geto can feel the shaking of Gojo’s body as tears burn behind his eyes. “I-I have to p-protect-“

“And you can’t protect them while you’re exhausted,” Suguru soothes as he starts to comb through the white mop beneath his fingertips. “If they came after us now, what would you do?”

There’s no reply.

“Please…rest, Satoru,” Geto begs, hugging his friend closer to him. “It’s just us awake… you can be vulnerable now. You don’t have to be the strongest with me.”

With that spoken confirmation, Satoru shivers as he breaks down into soft cries. Suguru cuddles him with zero judgement and zero words spoken. He hums a soft song the two have always enjoyed as he begs the greater gods above to allow Gojo to sleep.

After a mere ten minutes, the white-haired male is sleeping soundly with residual tears on his face. Geto sighs in relief and hugs Gojo closer to him as he releases his cursed companion to watch over them all.

Gojo would probably be pissed at him, or he would pretend it never happened. But either way, Suguru smiles as he rubs his friend’s back and shoulders.

Tomorrow will have to be the judge…

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

DUCKY! Oh my- *explodes* THIS IS EVERYTHING??? #my art #not my art #both #trolls #dreamworks trolls #they had a lot of fun making these #i actually really love the color palette for princess i think my cpusin did a very good job on that #claw is something else #he is a unicorn troll #neon green was an interesting choice but hey claw is an interesting guy #is it obvious idk how to draw country trolls lmao #ever since i told them i also liked trolls we have had our own little club #im their person who they can talk to about it #they will also just sit and ask me to draw tiny diamond and guy diamond over and over and over and over and over again #they really like tiny diamond #but hey i love those little guys so i draw the trolls they demand of me #they also asked me to draw poppy and branch so they could color them #i still have to finish my viva coloring page for them #the younger of the two who made princess is really good at color picking and color matching #she colored poppy without a ref and its p accurate to her colors #the older one who made claw used the ref for every color but he got pretty close when he tried to guess #the older one also misunderstood me when i said id been practicing art since i was 5 and thought i was this good since i was 5 #he was very depressed for about 15 minutes #it was really funny but dw i assured him that was not the case #but like for those 15 min he did not believe me #even his sister was like 'nono you didnt hear it right' but he was already in the emo zone #he was fine later tho and continued on making his troll #and also proud teacher moment but i had taught princesses creator some art techniques off handedly #not expecting her to remember any of it but then she did and apparent shes been using it ever since #im like omg i actually taught another human bsing something its insane

If you have related to how I have described Nathan’s struggles with his mental health and some experiences with life; emotional, physical and social etc (ignore the story/his fam background for this; I mean if you have been able to relate to his feelings/anxiety/negative physical sensations etc.)

Might be worth it to get your blood checked.

Especially B12, Vitamin D, Iron levels and Ferritin (ferritin should be 100+).

Building on top of the character, character background, and my research into trauma / mental health etc, I have always used a lot of my personal experience when describing emotions, feelings, and how mental health issues can feel like or present. It’s my attempt to make the writing feel realistic, had I experienced the things in the story or not. Aka even if the story was high fantasy and thus not realistic, I’d source my own feelings to make it ‘real’.

So. Regardless of what's causing it in the story: If you have ever related to how Nathan FEELS or describes his experience with the world and his brain… (Anxiety, depression, chronic fatigue, feeling like an outsider/in a fishbowl, easily overwhelmed or over tired; social withdrawal, social anxiety, heart palpitations, chest pains, breathlessness, dissociation, irritability, issues with cognitive function; memory, overthinking, insomnia, brain fog, panic attacks, slow recovery from physical activity, etc etc et fucking c)

Turns out bish has been chronically deficient of many things for a very long time due to stomach issues that stopped nutrients from absorbing. Antidepressants have never successfully worked for me, and it’s now looking like that’s because my mental health stuff could've largely been a physical symptom, instead of just purely mental health??

I have been on a pile of supplements for a bit now and uhh… It’s like night and day? Even with the other health stuff I've been getting treated for, it's been... So much better?? Like. Life changing amount of difference?? And I’m only just starting out fixing these deficiencies, which could take a long time. But...

Holy shit, “Better” might actually be a real thing after all?? There was a reason I've been so "stuck"???

Kind of mad… And sad. Because if this is true and I keep feeling like I have been recently, it means I’ve lost a lot of time to this. I try to focus on how good I’ve been feeling though, and stay curious for this journey of what literally feels like a second chance at life.

Just… Wanted to post this in case it could help someone else. This is a highly personal experience, mental health issues absolutely exist on their own too and there's possibly often overlap as well. But stuff like this can make existing mental health conditions worse too, so either way it’s worth checking.

i wanted to let you know that i watched the first episode of granada holmes (a scandal in bohemia) and it was so fucking good i am obsessed. i was a little nervous to watch their adaptation since irene adler usually gets done so dirty but i was very pleasantly surprised at how they treated her!!!! she was an icon from the moment she came on screen with a gun <3333333

i also love the holmes and watson dynamic so far!!!! watson did a lot in the episode to help holmes and it was so fucking funny watching holmes give zero fucks about social normals and watson working overtime to make up for holmes, lmao

yayyyy!!!! this is the only version of irene in any adaptation i like :) (im sure theres at least one other really good one out there though) she IS an icon <333 i agree with the king on one thing, what a woman! did you notice her little gay moment? its around 19:30 when she checks out a dancing women whilst drinking with the king (booo)

yesss its really good!! the way holmes expresses caring via little things like buying watsons favourite cigars too <333 or making him stay for the case <333 and watson cares right back, yelling at holmes over his cocaine habit, which is something i love about the books, so seeing it in this series is so nice :)

i love holmes' disguises as well, he really does look like a completely different person and i love that that part of the books wasnt removed :) especially his clergyman disguise, he looks delightfully comical with the bandage around his head

i believe this episode was actually the third filmed? i know solitary cyclist was the first for sure, bc they wanted the first episode to be really good, so they made sure that they all had a bit of experience with this series first :)
