I'm happy to be able to finally, officially, introduce my first Iterator oc, Three Signals! :"D
As one may tell, I can't help myself but to write novels on top and around my ocs, so apologies for the large amount of text.
Their lore is almost completed and I'd advise to referr to posts from here onward, if anyone is interested :0c
The story is grounded on a lot of my personal lore interpretation and headcanons, but those I will establish in a separate post some time! For now, it's still not 100% figured out, so there will be plotholes and uncertainty ^^);;
Three Signals belongs to a group far away from the in-game location. Specifically, a group pretty close to, if not outright including, Sliver Of Straw. That group is not particularly well integrated, and most members prefer to keep it to themselves.
After first generation was built, an issue arose; due to a large distance in the South between them and another group, the communications were weak, the signals were getting lost over particularly tall mountains. To fix that, Three Signals was strategically placed to bridge the distance, equipped with advanced for the time satellite plate, additional cell towers etc, essentially becoming a cell tower of the group.
A very vocal Iterator who quickly proved their creativity and love for their people and arts, became a perfect breeding ground for artists to find shelter from a rather conservative group climate. Their citizens were eager to involve TS into everything they did, only further strengthening their bond. They enjoyed their cyclical life together so much so, that the idea of Ascension slowly grew to be something undesirable. That raised controversy and distaint in the group against TS and their city of "heretics".
At some point, the tension grew enough to cause action to be taken. Other cities demanded arrest of TS's leaders and most prominent figures. TS and their city resisted, resulting in overly drastic measures; the city was pressured into compliance by force. Cutting off delivery of supplies and eventually attacking TS themselves with a malware attack, to shake the people out of the perceived heresy. A traumatic event for everyone involved. TS struggled to freely speak ever since.
Time passed, and the day of Mass Ascension came. Many of TS's citizens were not thrilled, many were fearful, many reluctant, many cried and reached out to their beloved Iterator for comfort. TS did their very best to comfort them, using what their city loved most; song. They sang, they sang all together, the city slowly rumbling with thousand voices into a solemn roar, then grew quieter and quieter again, until the very last voice left to be heard was Three Signals alone. And then silence ever since.
More time passed. Sliver Of Straw sends out the Triple Affirmative broadcast-
But TS, being equipped specifically to pick up weak signals, has heard something else coming from her; distressed cries of pain, and then the Triple Affirmative. Essentially convincing TS that it was nothing but an erroneous cry of a dying Iterator.
Horrified by what they witnessed, TS was moved to do whatever they can to try and comfort their fellow Iterators, to try and avoid something like that happening again. And what other way could TS do it, other than broadcast comforting tunes? A sign that they're not alone, and something to hopefully offer an alternative to spiraling into madness.
Their broadcast is wide ranged, but not enforced, and they're not even sure if anyone is listening or not- if its even effective or not. But at the very least, they can say they tried something.
(More to come)
#man I really hope to do a comic an animation or SOMETHING out of this#thank you very much to anyone who has the time and energy to read it all#big smooches for you#official oc introduction#rain world#rain world oc#rw iterator oc#rw oc#rw iterator#oc three signals#three signals#I'm very happy with how they turned out <3#I am aware I'm meddling with some big canon characters and I admit I'm a little scared#don't want to ruin them or something#but this is just a self indulgent fanfic and I hope it's okay <3

Nevros is back again with FR Archive crawling, this time Festivals!
The current dom scene looks like this:
Raffle that accepts dragons for tickets and reduced treasure/gem payout compared to exalting.
Public buy that accepts dragons only for payout and usually more than what you would get when exalting.
Badges given out for participation/sending dragons.
Exchange fodder for art
Lots of booth games and activities to participate in.
I had a few big questions that I wanted to answer about when did each of these events get established. When did each of these events start to show up? The disclaimer is that I only looked at festival push weeks to preserve my sanity. Massive shout out to Daenaryen for maintaining the festival thread masterlist!
If you have specific non festival weeks that had those events that predated the dates I found, feel free to share it!
Well it was pretty early into FR. The first festival was informal, there was a celebratory thread but no formal booths and events. July 2013 rolled around very quickly and kickstarted the festival week tradition we have had for the past twelve years. You would not believe it but randomized gacha critters were a thing from the very first event 2013. I really thought it was a later addition but maybe it’s just a return to our roots.
The next month, we had our first raffle, banners, and plot line going with Fire in 2013. Festivals at this time were mainly participation based. If you play games at the booths, you get tickets for the main raffle. No dragon donations at all!
Shadow changed the trend in February 2014 where it accepted dragons for tickets and payouts. This was also the dark ages where you kept track of every single dragon ID.
Next in March 2015, we have the first public buy from Wind!
Light’s festival in June 2016 had the first fodder for art thread. They also offered daily participation badges for sending dragons to the raffle. Previous art threads were free, “your character here style” commissions, and not more than 2 users running the booth.
Finally, I have a feeling that this kicked off the Light/Plague rivalry but I don’t have proof but Plague rocked up to festival pushes with a whopping 22 events when previous years had a range of 3-6 events. Mad lads plague!
That is my brief look! I may or may not be working on going through each of the festival weeks to look at what events each one has. Do we have more or less booth variety? In any case, stay tuned :0c

Hiiii!! Quick question, if you don't mind :D
I've been trying to get into digital art, but am currently in the "ibis paint, a finger, and a cracked phonescreen" phase. What device do you use to make your drawings?
Enormous fan of your work, btw. You're my favorite creator rn :>
Hello! I unfortunately don’t have much advice for you since I am still in my ibis paint app and finger drawing to this very day ^^’
My aunt recently got me a Huion tablet though which my sister (who has actually tried it) has said it’s pretty nice!
If anyone has any other recommendations tho feel free to add it in the replies! :0c

The Sea Prince; Betas and Sketches!
Hello! been a bit since ive done a sketch dump, but it isnt just a sketch dump, it's an announcement!
As @mewhoismyself and I work on the fic, we need an active set of beta readers! The two we have our wonderful, but to keep with the schedule, we need some extra hands and fresh eyes!
Hence, beta readers are once again open!
I am looking for two betas who are experienced in writing, and who are active to give their insights and feedback! currently, i am writing chapter 17, but while i do that, i'd need the feedback as soon as i can get it so i can prepare it for the chapter release dates. shoot a comment down below so i can check your account!
anyway, here's some doodles <3
ONE OF THESE IMAGES BELOW HAVE BLOOD. I AM WARNING YOU NOW.
first off, here's a joke made by a friend :> martyn is scott's babygirl, boom, its canon-
starting off, here's some silhouettes for the other princes ;D I can't reveal them, otherwise the surprise would be ruined! they're all based on different sea creatures, but they are just as scary as Prince Pearl and Prince Chromia. theres other designs i have to get to, but this is a sneak peak of the other terrors lurking in the dark.
speaking of, I got a fun doodle of em <3 the good thing about eating underwater is that they won't get all messy, but there are those times where an audience might watch them eat, they're messy eaters!
these two are pretty, but i really wanted to push their freakier, scarier sea prince sides! more slight changes, but they're both quite fun to draw! their contrasting designs are so much fun to draw together, i love these sillies! oh- and here's a bloodless version!
i absolutely LOVE my sea prince designs, scott and pearl just itch me the right way.
and before i pop off, here's some concept designs for joey and sausage, along with fwhip and gem! since gem is officially a lifer, i think her role in the story might be a bit more focused on, who knows!
wanted to make sure sausage didn't look like his pirates look :0c this au was originally before pirates smp, so i wanted to differentiate them somehow, so i pulled a lot from their empires' attire and see what works! what do you think?
finally, we have the cover art board! im planning to put this all in my pinned post the moment all the covers drop, but goodness, those eyes sure are pretty!
what do you think of the au so far? enjoying it? i hope you are! this au is such a blast <3

Devlog #16: Answers and Questions
Hello everyone! Welcome to this month’s devlog!
If you just stumbled upon this, I am Adrienne, also known as insertdisc5! I’m the developer, writer, artist, main programmer, etc of the game. The game being In Stars and Time, a timeloop RPG, which is also the next and final game in the START AGAIN series, following START AGAIN: a prologue (available here!). You can find out more about In Stars and Time here!!!
LET’S GET TO IT. This month is Q&A: Cohost edition!
“A Q&A again?” Heheh well I don’t have anything to talk about this month ✨ We’re working hard on finalizing the localization! And on porting to consoles! And on secret stuff! You know, the usual!!! Get excited!!! So, Q&A again 💖 And see, I asked questions for Q&As on Twitter. On Tumblr. On Discord. But some new social media platforms have entered the fray. SO.
Welcome to Q&A: Cohost edition. (Follow me on cohost and/or read this post I wrote about why I think cohost is neat teehee) (and follow me on bluesky if you want. I like it way less though. Sorry bluesky)
@ItsMeLilyV asks:
One of the bits of advice that gets tossed around by indie devs is to avoid making RPGs, especially for your first few games, because they tend to be large in scope, difficult to prototype, and easy to underestimate.
Was this ever a fear for you in making START AGAIN, or In Stars and Time? Did you take any special precaution to keep these games within a scope you could handle, and did you learn tricks from START AGAIN that carried over to ISAT when in came to keeping things manageable? Thank you!! ✨
I had no idea that was a piece of advice given, but yep, that makes a lot of sense! Since I didn’t know, I went in blissfully aware, teehee.
I will say that I am familiar with working on big projects from working on comics, and with seeing big webcomic artists always mention to never start with your magnum opus… And I could tell ISAT had the potential to be way bigger than I imagined, which is why I decided to start with creating the prologue to get used to RPGMaker as well as making games. Kind of a pilot of sorts!
Again, thanks to comics, I know to keep my scope pretty small, because even if you keep it small it WILL balloon into something way bigger than you thought. Just for the prologue, I imagined it’d be a 20mn game, and it’s easily a 2-3h one! Keep your scope small!!!
As for tricks, when I catch myself thinking “wow what if I added this cool thing”, I try to always keep in mind those two things: 1. How long will it take to implement (including bug testing), and 2. Does it add something important to the game. I know we always want to add a fishing game, or a fun minigame, but do you Need It. Does it add something substantial to the story, to the Themes. Or are you just adding it because you like fishing games. Which is a valid reason, but also, maybe just make a fishing game instead. You are not the Yakuza series!!!! You are a small indie gamedev!!!! Think about you in 4 months who has to fix all the fishing game bugs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@stem asks:
how is it to have a piece of art that's basically done (as far as i understand) that you can't share yet? like how do you personally bide the time until it's finally ready to release, or is it not really a challenge to wait? :0c
It’s so weird!!! The game has been done for so long!!! I’m very glad I asked some friends to playtest the game, so I could at least get some feedback before the game is out… In some ways it feels like the game will be done twice: once back when I finished making the game, and once when the game actually comes out. It’s just a very strange experience. Sometimes people tell me they’re excited to find out more about this story beat, or about this character, and a part of me is like… Wait, haven't you played the game? Oh, yeah, it’s not actually out. Guess you’ll find out later.
EDIT: My god. I just checked on my private devlog for when I completed the Alpha of ISAT. It was in August of last year (I lay down on the floor and look at the ceiling) (I still had to finish all the illustrations so really the game was Done Donezo in October but still…)
anon asked:
What role did Armor Games play in creating the final product?
SO MANY THINGS. Here are some of them: support when it comes to porting/marketing/social media/localization, feedback on the game and how to make it better, community guidance, testing support, QA/internal testing… The game couldn’t be the way it is without them.
For more small details, I have a weekly meeting with my producer, Dora! We talk about the game and how everything is going. A couple months back, I also was checking in with the internal QA team fairly often to fix any remaining bugs. They also helped me find ISAT’s additional programmer, Isabella, and she is a godsend because coding is hard. They also take care of communicating with press, finding more opportunities to showcase the game in conventions, talking with the localization/porting teams… I am probably forgetting a thousand little things they did to help out!!! THEYRE SO GOOD OK
Anon asked:
So obviously the skills/spells/what have you are based off of Rock, Paper, Scissors. Did you design each "type" to be like a certain style? Rock being heavy damage and defense buffs, scissors being speed and quick attacks, like that?
Absolutely! I just went with the obvious. Rock is physical damage, defense focused, Scissors is swords, attack focused, and Paper is magic, mind focused. It was fun to develop a spell system around those! I’m excited for people to find out more about Craft…
@nickshutter asks:
I really loved START AGAIN (streamed it for a small handful of friends) and was super happy to hear about a follow-up! The cast is so much fun and their personalities are really well-balanced—did any of the characters change pretty drastically from their initial conception during development of the game?
I’m so glad you streamed it with friends… I hope you had a good fun time…
And for sure! Isabeau and Mirabelle were pretty set from the get go (himbo and shy wallflower), but Odile started as more of a gentle teacher type, even if I very quickly went the snarky old lady route. Siffrin and Bonnie were harder to pin down– I wasn’t sure how to portray Siffrin’s despair in the prologue, and started showing them more overtly depressed, but I thought it’d be Very Yummy to have them show a happy facade to their friends. And then, for ISAT, I had to figure out what a non-depressed Siffrin would be like, for the first couple acts of the game before the despair sets in. As for Bonnie, I had a lot of trouble figuring out what they’d be like, what kind of kid they were, what their relationship with everyone else would be like, and then I thought about what their past would be like and then their characterization was set in stone. Sometimes you need to figure out One Thing to unlock a character’s brain. I’m very excited for everyone to find out more about each character in ISAT!
@SuperBiasedGary asks:
What games (or other media) lit a fire under you to create your own?
It could be stuff you liked so much it inspired, something you found frustrating because you felt an itch to do it differently, or something that made you realise humans make things and you could be one of them.
I found a lot of indie games inspiring, but I think Umineko might’ve been the one that made me go… Oh, anyone can just make a massive video game narrative. And you can make it very simple, with kinda goofy sprites, and still manage to make an incredibly touching story!
As for frustrating games that lit a fire under me, I think I’d say in general, I found issue with the classic trope of the “main character helps people and doesn’t get anything back”. What often happens in some games is that you help NPCs with their problems, sometimes helping them with very intense, complicated problems! For a very long time! And, in exchange, you get… A cool item? A nice new skill? And that’s it?
I know this might be complicated to implement on a narrative perspective, but I remember playing Persona 5, and your character just went through a very harrowing experience (like, oh, being INTERROGATED AND TORTURED BY THE POLICE) and you help your friends during social links, and they go “thanks for your help! Bye~” like WHAT ABOUT ME. WHAT ABOUT MY PROBLEMS. CAN YOU GIVE ME A HUG
So on a certain level, I wanted a game where instead of the characters around you having problems, the main character also has problems. And is subconsciously screaming “CAN YOU PLEASE NOTICE I HAVE PROBLEMS AND GIVE ME A HUG.” And hopefully, the characters notice. Winks
Hm. I do want to say I wrote most of the prologue/ISAT during the pandemic, and I felt very lonely and not supported. But then guess what. I told my friends about how I felt. And most of them told me they had no idea, and vowed to support me more. And now I’m closer to them. So the moral of this answer is, yeah, it’d be nice if people noticed, but also, you need to tell people when you’re feeling bad. LOOKS AT SIFFRIN
Anon asked:
Is there a song you listen to in order to put yourself in the sasasa/ISAT mindset?
I have a whole playlist baybee. Before you ask: there aren’t any hidden meanings behind those song choices. It’s about the Mood, and also my personal tastes in music I listen to when I need to concentrate. I like songs that go WUB WUB
In no particular order, here are five random songs I played on repeat when making the prologue:
Future Club (Arcade Version) by Perturbator (in bold because this was THE song I listened to on repeat. I believe I gave it to Lindar for inspiration lol)
Arcades by C2C
Wake Me Up by Para One
The First Wish by DROELOE
Les Enfants du Paradis by World’s End Girlfriend
And here are five random songs I played on repeat for In Stars and Time:
Down by Chloe x Halle
Nonsense Bungaku by Eve
Non-Breathe Oblige by PinocchioP
Gentle Heart by Jamie Paige
Ready For The Floor by Hot Chip
It’s interesting, the songs I listened to for the prologue are generally more heavy and frenetic, while the ones for ISAT are more hopeful… I made sure to listen to more lively songs for ISAT, since that’s the feeling I wanted to give off…
That’s all the questions I have! In other, non related ISAT news, I have started a new project and having a lot of fun. It’s a visual novel this time. I’m hoping to get some screenshots ready in the next few months, but also I’m taking it easy on this one. If it takes years with many breaks in between to get it done, it’s fine. What matters to me right now is the process!
That’s all I have to say for today! Let me know if you have any questions, or if there’s any aspect of the game development struggle you’d like me to talk about! See you next time!!!
AND DON’T FORGET TO WISHLIST THE GAME ON STEAM ALSO IT REALLY HELPS BECAUSE STEAM’S ALGORITHM IS MORE LIKELY TO SHOW OFF GAMES WITH A HIGH AMOUNT OF WISHLISTS THAT’S THE REASON WHY GAME DEVS ALWAYS ASK TO WISHLIST!!! OKAY BYE!!!!

Hello!!! Just found your blog and I’m in love with your characters and art style! Are there previous posts with more info about your OCs?
my ocs!!? you want to know about MY ocs! :0c
tbh most if not all of their info/lore exists entirely in my head as i barely ever write lore down for ANYTHING (i will just remember it all!!) but sureeee

on the left is Decima the jackal: member of the jackal squad (entirely based in my own version of the squad) youngest sister of Zero/Infinite. shes pretty silly and energetic and she loves her family and she loves her friends. she kinda has two canons in my mind, one that does follow the canon story of sonic forces and one that follows my post forces au. :0
in the middle is Enzo the wolf: hes my sonic forces avatar!! (sonic forces is my favorite game!) his story is basically pretty copy paste of the avatar’s lore from forces, including the prequel comics reasoning on how the avatar joins the war. hes my nervous little guy (though he has of course done much growing since the events of sonic forces) another character loyal to his friends and hes best friends with sonic :3
to the right is Lillian the caracal: she was my first ever sonic oc from when i was a kid! (though she obviously has since been redesigned) originally she was a freedom fighter but when i decided to revamp her, i brought her into idw lore, she now works for the resistance, shes a longtime friend of the main cast, mainly team sonic (sonic, tails, knuckles and amy!) shes a bit like jewel at times often focusing on work more but she cares deeply for her friends!
and those are my good guys (decima is a bit more neutral leaning but shes not evil/dark) aligned, on the opposing side we have my bad guy >:3

Nico the hyena! >:3 (i am very very biased in him being my favorite!)
nico works for clutch the opossum, he originally met him at white park chateau and began working for him immediately following the events of chao races and badnik bases! and now working at clean sweep inc (following the new clutch lore were getting!!) nico is pretty work focused and has worked hard for everything hes got. nico is more of a villain out of happenstance. he was just in the right place and right time and jumped at the opportunity to work with clutch (despite him not necessarily knowing clutch’s dark/evil alignment) im a big fan of villains that don’t necessarily have a reason for being villains, they just kinda are!
i honestly talk about my ocs more on my instagram (mainly stories) and have a highlight with little bits and pieces of their lore :3
Oh and here are their main refs

What sort of hobbies or interests do you imagine the Gang having (outside thievery or arresting said thieves)? And do they influence the way they go about their usual antics, or are they mostly Unrelated to everything else in their lives? :0c
oohhooohoho this is a good one because i have a small handful of actual canonical hobbies/interests that come up occasionally and then i have the ones that solely exist in my mind palace. at least until tms decides to let a random little shrimp from america take the reins on their most longrunning successful franchise anyway,
lupin:
i can’t remember if i mentioned lupin loves puzzles. wait yes i did in the video game list SORRY I’M ALREADY HAVING TROUBLE REMEMBERING WHAT I HAVE AND HAVEN’T GONE OFF ABOUT but yes in canon lupin LOVES puzzles. less like, jigsaw puzzles, more like shapey puzzles. but hell man if you can get him to sit still long enough he might like a jigsaw one just to pass the time
i think he likes cooking. him, jigen and goemon all seem to really Get it. so count this under all of them, they just love yummy food and occasionally the process of making it too
he likes to draw :) somebody has to be behind all the slightly different variants of his little mascot guy. SOMEBODY has to redraw bank floor plans so they can plan out each tiny step of the heist. somebody has to scribble over his own wanted posters to put funny little devil horns on the image CMON now!!
jigen:
only jigen could be in a fucking arcade theater complex and pull out a fucking crossword puzzle. why is this dude honestly trying to speedrun being a grouchy old man before he even turns 40. i mean no hate, no hate to crossword puzzles, they are cool but i’m more of a wordsearch guy. BUT THERE’S OTHER STUFF TO DO JIGEN!! at least he’s not going for sudoku though
very random but i think he might like sewing in a passive sense. with how particular he is about his hat and really ANY clothes on his person, he probably just picked up a needle one day to fix a tear and then was like Huh. this isn't too bad actually. kinda repetitive and calming. and then the others found out and tried to get him to fix all their stuff too SO HALF PLEASANT AND HALF NOT SO PLEASANT
fujiko:
you may think i’m insane but fujiko must genuinely have some sort of fondness for computers and technology. more than she lets on at least, because. how DO you know how to fly every type of aircraft. how DO you know how to crack into almost any computer firewall? how do you know how to isolate a computer virus as it’s ALREADY corrupted HALF OF THE SYSTEM?? this goes beyond job necessity to me she must really have some hidden underlying passion for this stuff
i think it’d be cute if she took up some kinda journaling. i mean god knows she’s not writing about her FEELINGS in that little leather notebook, and she doesn’t really have the time to commit to like, scrapbook shit (even if she had the time, she’s not sentimental like that) but something simple like “this is a list of m&m variants in order of how disgusting to not disgusting they taste to me <3” with little candy stickers and gel pen hearts drawn in. the next page has a bloodstain on it and the only thing written is “dw about that lol”
goemon:
okay i KNOW i’ve pushed the Arts Enjoyer goe agenda before but i recently saw that part 3 production art again of him chilling with the pottery wheel so i must state, once again, goemon LOVES sculpting shit in all forms. chip away at some rock, throw zantetsuken at a block of wood, actually invest in some clay for fucking once, whatever he uses, he’ll make something pretty good. and even if it wasn’t good it’s still a fun hobby for him. keeps his hands loose but precise
oh my god you know what he would love. dominoes. you know when people make those like crazy long domino strings that form a pattern when they’ve all fallen. if anybody here could have the precision and strangely placed patience to do shit like that it’s definitely this guy
zenigata:
going through this list easily and eagerly typing up little funfacts about things i do know they like outside of their. “jobs” and then slowly realizing as i get to zenigata that i... cannot think of anything he. uh. does for fun. damn. he DOES talk about movies a lil bit from time to time, and knowing his mixture of a freakish eye for detail and also missing the most obvious things ever i bet hearing him talk about a movie is twice as fun as actually watching it. i would pay HUNDREDS to hear him try to explain what he thinks of space odyssey to me
it would be-- i have no reasoning for this but it would be so cute and hilarious if he did like. tiny magic tricks. you know? like card appearing out of thin air, coin behind your ear type shit. tiny stuff he figured out on his brief off time. we know lupin can do little stuff like that too but it'd just be hilarious if zenigata, completely unawarely and unintentionally for once, ended up being better than him at some inconsequential shit like making a pair of keys disappear
and i guess in light of recent discoveries they all like golf. apparently. well. no one is perfect
#i really had trouble reading over this again and being like hm. is this actually a possibility or do i just want it to be#but then i remembered its my blog and i can type what i wish!! yippee!#lupin iii#lupin the third#lupin#jigen#fujiko#goemon#zenigata#asks

🐛 & ☘ for the ask game >:) (i think it was a 3 leaf clover...) {ps hello !!!!!!! waves excitedly. i finally entered your inbox :3}
☘ - What aspect of life does your kin identity affect you the most?
Honestly, my thoughts, beliefs, feelings, and opinions are largely affected by my Ashley Graves permashift. And there's definitely the fact that a lot of my interests probably exist because they were my past lives interests. So, like... yeah. Anyway, my permashift is the one that affects me the most.
🐛 - How do you feel about fanart and fanfictions of you?
Oh boy... this one has many different answers for my kins soooooo again, I'll put them under the cut:
Ashley Graves: I love the fan art, bun the fanfiction I don't like unless they are made by other tCoAaL kins and fictives. Because fans never get me correct.
Athena: Honestly all of my sources are just fanart and fanfiction that stem from Greek Mythology, so I don't care. I love them.
Colin: Nope. I may reblog some art every once in a while but just... nooooo nope nope nope. I actually do not like the fandom. They treat me soooo weird.
Cyn: [Giggle] I love it it. They get me so-o well.
Em: 1 4M 4 M1NECR4FT 0C, 1 D0 N0T H4VE 4NY.
Emberlynn Pinkle: I LOVE IT!! Oh my satan... I wrote so much fanfiction about my favorite characters in media and the fact that people do it to ME? I'm honored beyond relief.
GLaDOS: Hmmm... to be honest it is quite nice to be recognized, but... seeing humanoid versions of me instead of just being attached to the ceiling is... interesting to say the least. Not really my cup of tea.
Gwendolyn Poole: Holy crap, I love it! God- I wish more people would draw me or write about me.
Kimiko 5 Tails: I do love it. I'm surprised by how a lot of people make me being a playful, silly protector rather than a serious one because that's how I was in my canon. But that doesn't mean I didn't take the job of protecting seriously.
Lillie Aether: Yes, I like it... except for the weird ones... I was 11 for Arceus sake...
Linkle: This is a really double edged sword because like, I don't actually exist. I'm transfem Link of the Era of Calamity. So, I don't have fanart or fanfics. Well, except for 2 fanarts. Yep, only 2 have ever existed of ME where I'm not just Linkle from Hyrule Warriors slapped into the world with Link as my own separate character. I have those saved on my phone. :3
Moana: haven't really looked into it, so...
Nezuko Kamado: Same thing as with Lillie except with the phrase "I was 14 for heavens sake"
Pride/Selim Bradley: Eh, I don't care. (actually does care and loves it)
Red: Well, the fact I'm can divergent from the Little Red Riding Hood story/fairytale is uh... kinda hard to find anything. The closest thing is ABC's "Once Upon a Time"'s version of Red.
Sarah Miller: People draw/write about me!?
The Titan: It's pretty neat if I come across something about me. But I especially "loaf" the ones about my son and me hanging out. Haha. <3

HOW DO U DO THE EFFECT ON UR ART
the like,, cronchy vintage look? almost?? i love it??? do tell do tell :0c
i didnt notice i had a sorta message box on tumblr, this is pretty neat. Anyways, here's how i do the crunchy vintage look for my artstyle
I start by actually just drawing the thing. I try not to worry too much about the coloring. At this point, most colors will be a little faded.
i then play around in the tone curve thing. I honestly don't know how it really works.
i then start adding textures to the art with different blending modes (like divide or overlay)
and then if im feeling fancy, i add a tiny bit of chromatic aberation

What’s a formative event in Seph’s life that we, the readers, may not know much about? (ie. something that you didn’t have the chance to talk about as much as their connection to Adeo, or The Unseen, or their first love, etc.)
OU HELLO!!! omg thank you so much for asking? i've been feeling down in the rp department today so i appreciate you reaching out <3
hmm... i haven't gone very deeply into her early teenage years yet. between the twins running away from home at eightish and seph losing her arms during her late teens, there's a span of ten years that's gone largely untouched in terms of lore :0c something i've been working on behind the scenes is a prose exploration of the unseen's training. i've gotten into it a little bit in my threads with @chaoslulled, but afaik that's the only time?
i wish i could say there were significant parts of her life outside of the unseen, but. well. her and orion only fended for themselves for about two years before the unseen picked them up at ten and changed their lives for the worse <3
the unseen treats the children they take in very differently from the adults they rope into servitude. upon bringing new children into the fold (often lured in with the promise of money and stability for runaways, a roof over their head, and freedom from the authorities they fear), they separate them into cohorts:
the spies, with promising faces and natural charm;
the creators, young prodigies in disciplines that will become useful to the unseen later (forging, accounting, tailoring, engineering, etc);
and the killers, who show an aptitude for violence early in their lives.
as might be obvious, seph was placed into the killer cohort while orion was brought into the creators for art forgery. for the first two years, they were essentially living in military compounds where they trained day in and day out to become perfect little machines. seph took to violence unnervingly fast; she caught her cohort leader's eye, a military veteran who watched closely as he and his crew set her up in situations that had her fighting for her life.
( cw for violence + mentioned child death in the following meta. )
the first example of this was bunking her with a young farm girl named roxana, one who seemed too gentle and down-to-earth for this life, knowing persephone would likely befriend her. after a few years, they sent roxana off to a mission they knew would kill her. (it did.) the replacement bunkmate was an extremely violent and unstable child who would try to kill persephone every time she fell asleep. eventually, she couldn't take it anymore, passed out, woke up to being strangled by her bunkmate with a knife stuck in her gut, and dispatched them in a life-or-death frenzy by snapping their neck.
by then, persephone and orion were twelve and allowed to live in their own unseen-owned apartment together. after she killed her bunkmate, persephone's cohort leader took her under his wing and began to accelerate her lessons, both with private self-defense and combat lessons and field missions that they would normally wait until a student was fifteen or sixteen to assign. but she was fast, brutal, and a very quick learner when it came to surviving a low-odds fight.
she "graduated" from the killer cohort at sixteen and became a full-time hitman, though they had been sending her on assisted / group kill missions pretty much since her mentor began training her personally.
despite the fucked up circumstances, the ages of fifteen to nineteen were sort of the 'golden years' for persephone and orion. they had a lot of freedom to do what they wanted outside of work (orion went to school, seph took up side jobs and vandalized buildings and explored the city and cut her teeth on the outside world), they lived together, and they had the skills and money to not only survive but thrive.
this was also the time period during which persephone became very good at cooking :) orion has a lot of food aversions, so he had trouble staying adequately fed, which — being the older twin — caused seph to step up to the plate and cook for the both of them. most of the time it was a rotation of the same few dishes her mother had taught her before the twins ran away: oyakodon, omurice, ketchup rice, sometimes tonjiru with very specific vegetables in it.

For the commission prices question, I'd say charge whatever feels comfortable! Idk abt half bodies but full bodies?? 90-120$ easy, depending on the complexity I suppose? As for the lil icons I'd sell you my soul for one but that may just be me. Depending on the time/number of frames tho it could very well be like. 30-50$.
DON'T UNDERSELL UR ART <3
swag thanks so much! integers of like, 30/60/90 is honestly pretty agreeable to me, id only dare to do 100+ if it was really a complex design or something. actually 60 works really well for half bodies... myes....
also wrt animated icons i think 50 would be a pretty safe mix of effort i'd be putting in + affordability :0c thanks for that data point
#ive gotten a lot of good answers abt this so far :o) thank youses so much#+ thanks for being concerned abt me underselling🥺 dw i am taking that into consideration

i really like your art ;-; you draw so, so... it makes me think of a marker with the kind of fat lid you pop off with your teeth, to use on poster board, and also the feeling of a little jelly candy, the kind that's sometimes covered in chocolate, it's so pretty, it's so satisfying to look at over and over again
Thankyou so much😭😭, you're too kind, it honestly makes me so happy to hear you like my art!!! I realllly like that description, it just oddly fits super well, I can imagine now the squeaky sounds of a marker on the board as I draw (though moreso a pleasant sound) using the super thick rounded edge, which the brush i use to draw is actually pretty much the same thing actually :0c ❤️❤️
