“Do you not remember our time together? It was some time ago, but you wound me my kjære.“

“You’re playing mind games with me. I’m not falling for it.” Tony kept his hand out in case he needed another blast from the suit.

Loki pulled himself up to sit on the couch, leaned forward with his elbows on his knees, and said teasingly, “Don’t you remember our chess matches? How I could make you kneel before me with a crook of my finger? Did the bracelet you made for me mean nothing?”

Tony Stark would never admit to having been in love a long time ago, with a woman from Norway. Now there’s a Norse god in his penthouse threatening him and Earth, but those eyes are familiar… and there’s something seriously wrong happening.

Or: How Tony Stark makes a snap decision to hide his ex Loki in Stark Tower during and after the Battle of New York, tries not to lose his head and his heart doing it and fails. How instead, together, Tony and Loki unknowingly change the path of their universe.

Tony waited in a ballroom on New Year’s Eve. Just an hour or two ago, he had made a snap decision and made himself a New Year’s Resolution to take a risk. So there he was, waiting with a pounding heart to see if his risk paid off, to see if Loki walked down the stairs to the ballroom to meet him.

He did not expect his neighbor to turn out to be a familiar mischievous enemy-turned-ally who was nursing injuries from the Battle of Wakanda. He also did not expect to end up embroiled in a real life Game of Thrones with death on the line for both him and Loki. Retired or not, Tony was still Iron Man. It was game on.

“You're smart, figure it out.” He stopped at a wall, and pulled a particular sconce, carefully avoiding the fire. A panel of the wall opened internally to an honest to god secret passage.

“What. The. Actual. Hel. Agent Barton. How do you know of this?”

After the Chitauri Invasion, Clint Barton went home to recover. After a while, he went back to active duty. But the loyal agent has been keeping a secret. He’s been spending his free time sorting through over a thousand years of a Norse God’s memories. Because for some reason, the scepter worked both ways. It gave him Loki’s memories.

Clint did not like what he saw, and he hasn’t been able to let it go. He’s a sucker for a seemingly lost cause. Clint’s mission is to get into Asgard, break Loki out, and get him somewhere safe. If only Loki will cooperate and not take his head off.

when comes the dawn ; the king's game

The Origin of the King’s Game

It is unknown when these ‘games’ officially began in Aetier or were known as such. The term, ‘King’s Game’ itself was never an official term, per se, but merely a colloquial description for the power struggles between different imperial heirs for the throne.

One of the features that sets the Aetierian Empire apart from the rest of its contemporaries is that there was no set rule of succession. The founding emperor, Kaelstansa I, had first decreed that the one who should succeed him would be the most capable of his children. As the sixth child of his own family who was slated to never amount to more than a political bargaining chip, Kaelstansa understood more than any that capability was not determined by birth order but instead by skill. His decree to forgo the standard rules of male primogeniture opened up the throne for heirs of any gender and birth order, as long as they had the skills and resources to back up their claim.

While a good system in theory, it eventually became clear that the members of the dynasty became a large problem for the monarch if one or more of them decided to lay claim on the Phoenix throne. Early Aetierian history can be described by its numerous civil wars and succession crises, most notably the Aeon du Ter-Imperessirs (the Era of Four Princets) and the Decade of Blood. (Interestingly enough, a consistent factor that pulled the entire empire back together is the invasion of a third party, which lent to the belief that Aetier can only be defeated by itself).

The victor of the Decade of Blood, Empress Anastasia II instituted the Scion’s Code, stating that it is acceptable for the princet who ascends the throne to execute their siblings for the stability of the empire and the benefit of its citizens. Though the Scion’s Code did work in preventing more large scale civil wars, it had the added effect of changing the fight for the throne from one of power to a matter of survival. This idea only embedded itself further into the imperial family when the Imperial Harem began involving itself in succession politics.

‘King’s game’ as a term saw a resurgence in use during this period, referring less to civil wars between imperial heirs, but instead to the dangerous politics that played out within the harem, hidden from outside eyes. Imperial consorts were a princet’s foremost advocate for the throne, and the competitive nature of the Harem saw consorts doing anything they could to ensure their child’s survival and that of their own.

The king’s game is bloody. Ruthless. And for the majority of imperial children, it begins at birth.

The King’s Game [0 A. Dan. - 5 A. Dan]

While not the first king’s game of its kind, The King’s Game gained its infamy from being the first big civil war in Aetierian history in centuries and involved the largest execution of dynastic heirs to date.

The King’s Game began in Emperor Dantalion I’s interim year [15th Cierhal, 0 A. Dan] when he staged a coup, assassinated his father Karleon III and proclaimed himself ruler under the right of conquest. His 0 year and first year as king saw the death and execution of the majority of Dantalion’s siblings excluding the ones who married outside the empire, his blood-brother Andras, and his half-sister Astaria who escaped to the city of Konstantinye in Northern Aetier.

In Vindercrest, Dantalion worked to stabilize his hold on the southern and eastern provinces of Aetier. In Konstantinye, Astaria built her powerbase, gathering allies from all across the empire and from her husband’s, Prince Verrine’s, connections to the kingdom of Volyr.

The King’s Game lasted five and a half years with battles converging over land and the Hirithian Sea. The war reached its turning point on the 15th of Rueprae, 3rd A. Dan, with the formalized marriage of Emperor Dantalion and Titania of Taul. Titania, being the favored daughter of Eliskander-konig, offered Dantalion and his allies greater access to the the silk road than they have ever had before as well as the protection of the Iskaavar, should they ever need it. This marriage doubled the amount of resources available to Dantalion, and coupled with Titania’s feared skills and tactics on the battlefield, giving him a much needed advantage.

The war finally came to an end in the Siege of Konstantinye. A two month bombardment left the city’s walls a crumbling ruin, and the last of Astaria’s resources depleted. Strangely enough, she made no attempts of escaping to Volyr, facing Dantalion’s fury directly in the castle’s great hall. She was beheaded on the spot, her husband and close allies fleeing to Volyr or surrendering.

There are conflicting rumors as to the welfare of Astaria’s son, born on three years into the war. Dantalion has expended effort into finding out about the child’s whereabouts, but to no avail. Most believe the young prince died during the siege, though this has never been officially confirmed.

(Sorry these are gonna be a little late now. There haven’t been as many submissions lately, and my life’s been too hectic to write fics. I don’t want to post any of these with zero submissions, so once I’ve written the fics for the next few days I’ll post their challenge posts)

Regressor!Draco Malfoy Headcanons

Fandom: Harry Potter  Written For: @princets-stuff, sorry for the wait! 

(on a very lighthearted note, I can’t write about regressor Draco without thinking about A Very Potter Musical, but I’m doing my best to bring the tone back to the Harry Potter books with this headcanon set!)

Draco regresses to his preteens, around 9 or 10 years old

He loves to fly when he’s little, especially on older broomsticks that remind him of the ones he grew up using

Easily bothered by loud noises and gets angry when there’s too much going on around him; liable to lash out or storm off in a huff

Draco is drawn towards shiny things like nail polish and tiaras and light-up shoes, but he doesn’t actually have any of those things: he settles for charming little animations on paper and making them dance around to keep him company

The only time Draco keeps a journal is when he’s regressing (he usually burns the pages after he ages up)

Likes to explore, has a hard time resisting a closed door, and is good at not getting caught

Loves potions almost as much as he loves flying: at home he has his own potions set and he’s constantly experimenting both when he’s big and when he’s little (his big experiments have a much greater success rate)

One heck of a sweet tooth: he sneaks down to the kitchens and talks the house elves into making him cupcakes

Draco regresses as soon as he’s in any kind of pain, but it usually just comes off as being incredibly irritable and sensitive

Sometimes Draco wrecks his clothes when he’s regressed, and when he ages up he’s always super annoyed at his little self because he hates repairing things, even with magic.

They Find Out Their S/O is Getting Bullied (STARISH)

This is a continuation of my most recent scenario. The next post will most likely be this scenario again but with HEAVENS. Also, I think I’m going to write more in bullet points this time for future scenarios. The “Bad day at work/school” scenarios will still be in paragraphs once I get around to finishing those though since I like staying consistent.

Once again, though I don’t mention any specific bullying tactics or insults, here’s a possible trigger warning for those who are uncomfortable with mentions and themes of bullying.

Also, a note on Cecil’s scenario: I tried to find a gender-neutral term for Prince/Princess, since I figured that’d be something he’d call the reader and because I don’t use they/them pronouns so I’m not too familiar with it yet. What I ended up using was one that I found in multiple sources from nonbinary and genderfluid people, so I figured it’d be one of the more appropriate ones to use. If I offend anyone in either of those communities by doing this, I sincerely apologize.

On with the scenario!

Natsuki Shinomiya - 

- He’s distraught - who would want to hurt someone as sweet and as kind as you?!

- He immediately pulls you into a tight hug to the point where you have to tell him to ease up a little. He then pulls away once he realizes that you could be hurt. 

- Keep your eye on his glasses, you don’t want them to accidentally fall off his face. 

- “I’m sorry! I forgot to ask if they hurt you! I didn’t hurt you more, did I?” 

- He helps to gently patch you up if you’re hurt. 

- If not, he breathes a sigh of relief before hugging you again, asking you to tell him what they said to you. 

- He argues against each insult, reassuring you that none of it is true. He also takes the time to compliment you on what he likes about you. 

- You spend the rest of the day in his arms listening to his songs. 

- The next time you run into your bullies is a couple days later.

- They’re suddenly scared of you now! You find this strange, since your boyfriend is not known to get violent, but you let it go because hey, they’re not bothering you anymore!

Tokiya Ichinose - 

- He doesn’t seem to react at first, but little do you know that he’s trying to restrain himself from becoming too angry in front of you. 

- In an unusually calm tone, he asks you if they hurt you. He can patch you up if needed. 

- Once he feels he’s calm enough to help you, he asks you to tell him what they said to you before he pulls you into a hug. 

- You can’t see it, but his eyebrows are furrowing more and more with each thing you say. 

- “Don’t listen to them. They’re telling you nothing but lies.”

- He offers to go with you to get someone of higher authority involved if needed and spends the rest of the day cuddling with you and listening to his music. 

- A couple days later, you run into your bullies while he’s with you. 

- You’ve never seen anyone’s face go as pale as your bullies’ did before. 

Cecil Aijima - 

- This is the first time you’ve ever seen him angry. And the last time you ever want to see him angry.

- “What are their names, my Princess/Prince/Princet? I’ll have them banished to Agnapolis if they laid a finger on you!!” 

- Wow I guess Camus is really starting to rub off on him

- He takes a moment to calm down before making sure you’re not hurt. He can patch you up with Masato’s help if needed.

- He pulls you a bit closer to him and asks you to tell him what they said to you, hugging you and tightening his hold on you with each insult you say. 

- He reassures you that none of it is true and spends the rest of the day cuddling with you. 

- The next day, there’s no trace of your bullies, though you have stumbled across a clowder of cats that kind of look like them and always run away from you for some reason.... You think it’s best to not bring it up though.

Ren Jinguji - 

- He seems to be considerably calm given what you just told him.

- But don’t let looks deceive you, he’s seething with anger on the inside. He just doesn’t want you to know that and make you feel worse than you already do.

- He takes a deep breath to try and calm himself down before asking whether or not you’re hurt. He can help patch you up if needed. 

- He pulls you into a hug after patching you up or finding out you’re not hurt, asking you to tell him what they said to you.

- He scoffs after you tell him what they said, his hold on you tightening after each one. 

- “Don’t listen to a word they say, Little Lamb. You and I both know none of that is even remotely true.” 

- You two then spend the rest of the day cuddling and playing video games together to help take your mind off of things. 

- The next time you see your bullies is when he’s with you.

- They mysteriously leave you alone once they recognize who you’re with. How weird!

Otoya Ittoki - 

- Like Natsuki, he’s distraught and wondering who would want to hurt someone as sweet as you. 

- He immediately makes sure you’re not hurt. He can - with Masato’s help - patch you up if you are. 

- He then hugs you tightly and kisses your forehead after you tell him what they said to you. 

- “That’s not true at all! I can’t believe anyone would say such horrible things about you!”

- He then cracks a couple jokes to help cheering you up, smiling once he hears you laugh. 

- The next day, the two of you are out on the town when you run into your bullies again. 

- They immediately recognize him and piece together that the two of you are an item. They suddenly leave you alone after that. 

Syo Kurusu - 

- He’s instantly cracking his knuckles and muttering incoherently under his breath. 

- You have to stop him from busting out the doors to find whoever’s bothering you. 

- “You’re not hurt, are you? I’ll kick their asses if you are!” 

- Once he settles down a little, he sighs and makes sure you’re not hurt. He can patch you up if you are. 

- If not, he breathes a sigh of relief and then asks if they said anything to you. 

- He tsks at each thing you tell him and he reassures you that “there’s no fucking way that’s true.” 

- He offers to teach you a few self-defense moves in case they want to try anything with you again and he’s not there to protect you. 

- The next day, your bullies are magically scared of you! And you suddenly have to tend to Syo’s knuckles, which are bruised. What a coincidence!

Masato Hijirikawa - 

- He’s unsurprisingly calm yet angry once you tell him. 

- He immediately asks if you’re hurt and carefully patches you up if you are. 

- If not, he becomes a little less angry and asks you what they said to you. 

- “None of what they say matters because it’s not true. I promise, I’ll make sure they never bother you again.”

- He clears up his schedule for the rest of the day and offers to do whatever you want with you to help distract you a little from your problem. 

- The next day, you hear your bullies panic with each other about someone who got a hold of their numbers and is now threatening to sue them.

- You snicker to yourself at this funny coincidence, but figure it’s best to just leave it alone. After all, they’re at least leaving you alone now!

This is Moorhen erasure and I won't stand for it. 8P

I wouldn’t be the MudWing Apologist if you thought I missed her. :>

Moorhen is DEFINITELY going to get her time in the sun, in fact, I would love to draw the MudWing royal family after I draw the antagonists of the first and second arc (when I intend to draw all the significant royal families. Even though... Moorhen’s family is never spoken about).

Moorhen, I feel, should be a given. She’s the ideal queen in all ways. But ideal queens don’t deserve drama! Yet, there was Sora, an ample opportunity for the war to continue dragging at Moorhen’s deteriorating health and keep a sense of worry and distress as she wanted to protect the children she had forced into a war. Unfortunately for her, those war-scarred children committed a terrible crime that she’s unsure if the Queens of Ice or Sky will forgive her as quickly as Moorhen will.

Until I DO draw and write about them, here are a few Moorhen/family tidbits! Made up entirely of my own wordbuilding and speculation. <3 Mostly headcanons.

The Royal MudWings compose of Queen Moorhen, Prince Cormorant, Princet Basmati, Prince Aster, Princess Amber. 

Princet Basmati is non-binary, using they/them. And Prince Aster is a trans man, using he/him. 

Otherwise, Moorhen uses she/her, Cormorant uses he/him, and Amber uses she/her.

Moorhen was a traditional BigWings, who, as a princess, saw her kingdom as part of her family as well. She took the throne from her mother and their aunts and uncles who had thrown their kingdom into an age of famine, illness, and distress, while they lay in the castle sunbathing and eating grapes and indulging in luxury. Moorhen and her siblings pulled her tribe back to its feet, with huge plans to bring about an age of education, prosperity, and pride for their tribe. Unfortunately, before these projects could go underway, the war knocked on their door.

Prince Cormorant is Moorhen’s right-talon man, a dragon she could depend on to help her make difficult decisions. He organized and lead multiple battles for Moorhen while she managed things elsewhere on the continent. 

Princet Basmati and Prince Aster are largely dragons of the people, in their own ways. Basmati frequently surveyed and interacted with MudWings, asking what they wanted and what they needed. They made sure to distribute supplies, food, and medicines when they were needed. Basmati dedicated so much time away from the dragons that when Blister and Burn slithered into their kingdom with their “requests” and demands, they were about the most on-edge and suspicious of the siblings, and that’s saying something. 

Prince Aster was a dragon who made sure morale was maintained among the dragons, attempting to boost spirits with hearty songs over bonfires and celebrations over nothing. 

If Prince Cormorant was Moorhen’s right-talon, then Amber would be her left. Just as loyal, just as faithful. While she doesn’t handle technical things directly, she took duties off of Moorhen’s back if she knew she would sacrifice them to her. Princess Amber was a force to be reckoned with, pulling frequent all-nighters and dealing with Moorhen’s work whether she wanted her to or not. Amber saw Moorhen’s mental health plummet as the war went on, and despite Moorhen pushing away, Amber clung tightly when their other siblings picked things up.

Prince Aster, or present-day ex-Prince Aster, had never wanted to become royalty. Despite their demeanor of joy and celebration, they’re quite realistic, but unfortunately a tad cynical. He was concerned with the prospect of challenging the powerhouse of their previous Royal Family (which, in the MudWing culture, is customary that if the Queen invokes it, all siblings must assist in the challenge). Prince Aster fought willingly at Moorhen’s side to support her. And while he anticipated the luxury that the previous royalty got to embrace, he was quickly unamused by the title of “Prince” after becoming a servant of his people. Which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Yet, he still set down his crown and bid goodbye to his family once the war was over. After abandoning his title and throne, Aster went on to create life among similar war-scarred MudWings. How this affected his family? :smirk emoji: I dunno! 

As it stands, there are no heirs to the MudWing thrones. 

I’ve considered writing them as having siblings who were killed, but as it stands, I have plenty of conflict in store for someone who’s not going to write anything about it! If they were to have such drama, though, I would kill off siblings during Moorhen’s challenge and the war itself. I think MudWing clutches should be bigger anyway.

I want Moorhen and Ruby to have a lovely friendship. Despite the strain between their tribes over the death of Carnelian at the talons of Sora, they have things to learn from each other. And, best of all, they both despise the previous SkyWing queen. Moorhen was one of the first dragons to send a letter of congratulations once word of her official demise spread. Moorhen also quietly extended her talon in a quiet alliance when the SkyWings withdrew from the war. More so in the sense that Moorhen would offer advice and wisdom to the younger Queen. And I guess Moorhen adopted her as her daughter, idk.

Anyway, I hope that’s enough content to forgive me for disregarding her in the previous MudWing post. <3

I Want To Clear Up What Ma-Acolyte Stands For...And Say I’m Gonna Wait To Talk About The Toxic-Youtubers.

Ma-Acolyte, stands for Mother Of All Angels Acolyte.

plus I know I found out that I am not Christian,

and then found out I am a Neo-Christian instead.

but the whole Ma-Acolyte might be misinterpreted by some.

and I think I just remembered what it stands for.

which is Mother of All Angels Acolyte.

which I believe is the Earth-Heavenly Mother/Goddess.

if the sky/cloud heaven, is the ruling realm of the Heavenly Father/God,

and the Princes that act as Princes that govern each “Heaven Level”,

then I believe and theorized, that there is a Heaven that mimics the likeness of earth, from flora and fauna.

and it possibly having the Princesses, acting as the princesses for each level

of the Earth-Heaven Levels.

but the Earth-Heaven still being linked to the other that is the Sky-Heaven,

or simply known as Heaven.

and I suppose if one of the Princesses of Earth-Heaven,

felt more like a Nonbinary identity, and preferred the they/them pronoun,

and not liking to be called she/her even though they were created

in female looking form with the feminine energy

(feminine doesn’t always mean the biological binary.)

might want to go by Princet instead.

 but even those who feel maybe Feminine-Nonbinary,

and were born biological female or who’s soul was created to appear female,

might still go by she/her.

plus the feminine and masculine energies are not always binary.

I might need to make this short,

so I will say this. I decided to wait a bit more to talk about the problem with the Toxic-Youtubers.

also I want to say that if my assuming is right, and if the rain right now is any sign that it is true.

and if someone who is part of tumblr is in a coma right now,

then I’m going to pray they wake up from it and get back to their home and family safe and sound.

I don’t think it is six sense....

pretty sure my Mom had that when my older brother almost got himself hurt,

and she wasn’t even in the same room as him, but she “saw it” like it appeared in her head, that is the best thing I can do to explain it.

I also notice the sky and even the trees seem a lot healthy looking over here.

maybe I’m not the only one who started to notice it.

but anyway once more the “Ma” part of Ma-Acolyte,

is short for Mother of All Angels Acolyte.

and I think it is really for the best that I wait until maybe either next month

or even July if I decided to wait that long, to talk about the Toxic-Youtubers,

I did save what I had wrote so far, and well I might write a bit more about it.

but I’m not gonna post it right away, as I believe it is best that I wait a bit longer.

and I hope some of you can respect my new view, you don’t have to agree with it.

but make sure you don’t tell me I’m being a blasphemer,

I still believe in the Heavenly Father/God and even Jesus,

but I have open up to some truth that is in my heart and soul.

plus I still don’t believe that force converting is the right way.

like I had pointed out before, when I did talk about believing in a Goddess too,

a Toxic-Religious made me feel really bad

and even though I did try to point out what they were saying,

was making me feel bad...they kept using it.

misusing “may the lord have mercy on you.” or “may god have mercy on you.”

is just wrong, and yet the Toxic-Religious people like that insensitive person,

will do it, regardless if you point out how bad it is making you feel.

I mean let’s say if I was atheist instead, if I had said that,

that person would possibly still use those same words and make me feel bad.

but I’m not atheist, and if I have some friends who are, I don’t think it be right to force them to believe the same as me.

if someone wants to believe in a higher power,

then it should be of his or her or their own choice and the free will that is of both their soul, heart and mind...

(I don’t really go to church anymore, but even I had figured out the whole if you don’t you will go to heck, is just a lie that a group of male humans had made up...that is my and maybe a few others view on it I think.) 

and I’m glad that I blocked that Toxic-Religious person over at the other place I post fan art at.

because they couldn’t understand their misuse of those words,

were making me feel really bad.

even if I did try to point that out, they end up repeating it.

and might of kept doing it if I kept trying to get them to listen.

anyway, I will sign on later,
