Lorelei and the Laser Eyes is so fun. I found a dead body in the backyard and instead of telling anyone about it I just went "oh sweet, she had a key!" and then went to go play a video game

it’s essentially this running joke that means if you start writing fanfiction, your life will get more hectic. tons of users across various fanfic sites (mostly ao3) were seeing all of these notes on different works saying crazy things like “sorry this chapter was late guys but my house burnt down, my nan fell down 10 flights of stairs and my school flooded”. others chimed in with their dramatic accidents that had happened to them not long after they had posted their first fanfiction and thus The Ao3 Curse™️ was born!

lmfao well if that's the case, my whole life has been cursed because i've been writing fanfiction since i was 12 🤠

with james ford’s health diagnosis, i really don't see arctic monkeys releasing any music until 2026 or later. even if they choose another producer, i think the band (alex especially) trusts james so deeply and values his input on their records that they would want his presence on the next album in some way.
