I bombed a coding test earlier this week because I didn't think and put too much faith in a // todo comment in the given empty Typescript class, and accidentally wasted at least half my time wondering why it wasn't working. I tried to implement the interface methods inside the constructor

I still haven't heard back from the last PhD program I applied to which is starting to feel a little ridiculous, but it does put me in the weird plausible deniability zone of being like well, unfortunately I didn't get in anywhere this cycle, guess I'll have to try again....... unless?
#like if i have to apply again next fall it's not the end of the world#i'll have to figure out like. a way to get paid in the meantime#but i have proof my application is decent and might just need another chance + a few more flourishes if i can fit them in#(also like. gazes longingly at my dream program where the prof i interviewed with sent me a personalized email after i was rejected)#but also... hahaha.... what if?
