Noct and Prom both give off the energy that they bite during fights.

Noct only bites as a last resort, though. Like sometimes during training, when Gladio has him pinned, Noct just cronches down in a final attempt at winning. It pisses Gladio off so bad every time bc he never expects it. Definitely latches on like a leech and leaves a bruise in the perfect shape of his teeth. (Imagine a Tonberry taking him to court and suing, using the teeth imprint bruise as evidence. The Tonberry would win.) Probably bit Ardyn several times during the final fight just to prove a point tbh.

Prompto, though? Leaves no stone unbitten. He opens everything with his teeth, anyway. Why would fighting be different? Uses his chompers way more than he should and has chipped, and even broken a few before. (his dentist is a happy camper. Literally says, "See you next week!" before Prom leaves the office.) Dramatic, feral energy in a fight when it becomes close quarters bc he's not used to it. Runs at you, mouth open and teeth already clicking together like tap shoes on hardwood flooring. This boy isn't here to play. He will take a chunk out of a Cactuar. He does not care.

⦁When you tell Prompto about your pregnancy, he is overjoyed! He can't stop kissing you, he even cries because he is so happy! And you cry with him.

⦁He immediately tells the good news to his friends and they of course rejoice with him. It will not be easy to choose a godfather for the child.

⦁He thinks you are the most beautiful woman in the world. Seeing you like this, with your beautiful round belly, makes him very happy. A part of him lives in you now.

⦁Prompto is so excited! He is already buying so many things for the unborn child. Clothes, toys and books of fairy tales, so he can read them to his child every night.

⦁Prompto gets you everything you feel like. No matter how crazy your cravings are, he would willingly drive hundreds of miles to see you happy. Even in the middle of the night he will get you your favorite ice cream if you ask for it.

⦁He will protect you and the little one with his life.

⦁When fears and worries rob you of your sleep, Prompto will tell you with that sweet voice of his, that everything will be fine. You will hear words full of love that will make your heart laugh again.

⦁He will probably freak out if you get hurt or catch some illness. He will take good care of you, but overacting sometimes.

⦁On the nights when you are in his arms, he is even more tender and loving than he already is. He loves you and the little one in your belly. Sometimes he sings to his child. Softly and in a gentle voice, while he lovingly looks at you and caressing your belly.

Nyx Ulric:

⦁ Your pregnancy is not planned at all and you are afraid to tell him that you are expecting a his child.

⦁ Nyx is speechless at first and just stares at you with wide eyes. You don't know what's going on in his head and what he's thinking about, and that makes you very nervous. Does he want this child? Is he going to freak out now?

⦁ Your anxiety grows as no reaction comes from Nyx. But when he sees your tears and the sad expression on your face, he wakes up from his trance. He can't stand to see you so sad and immediately wraps you in his arms "Hey, hey... it's alright. It's okay."

⦁ Nyx is very loving and also understanding. He loves you more than anything. As time goes by, Nyx becomes more and more excited that you are expecting a child from him. A little being that grows inside you. A greater gift you could not offer him.

⦁ However, he is concerned about whether he can provide you and the baby with the life you deserve. He will do anything to make you happy.

⦁ His worries are great, but when he sees you, full of joy and also full of love, he forgets his fears. In you he has met his soul mate.

⦁ You have been trying to have a child for a long time, but it doesn't happen so easily for you.

⦁ The more time goes by and you don't succeed, the more unhappy you are about it. It is your greatest wish, but Cor also wishes to start a family.

⦁ You start to doubt yourself and are afraid that Cor might leave you. Even though you know deep inside that he would never do that. He loves you and wants to share his life with you.

⦁ But one day, when you think all hope is lost a small miracle happens, You can hardly believe it, but it happened!

⦁ His extremely negative reaction shocks you. You try to calm him down, but Gladio is much too upset.

⦁ "This shouldn't have happened! Damn it, Y/N!" He doesn't think about what he's saying "What are you doing to me, Y/N?!"

⦁ After that sentence, you can't hold back your tears and Gladio sees that too. He sees your shocked expression and immediately regrets his words. But we know how stubborn he can be and he doesn't even apologize to you at first.

⦁ He leaves the apartment, because he first needs a clear head. He must gain distance from you in order not to hurt you even more. Gladio really regrets his words, but he needs to be alone for now.

⦁ His friend Ignis manages to calm him down and give him some advice. As a result, Gladio calms down and his feelings don't take over his mind. Rational thinking is now the order of the day.

Another loooong drive was ahead of the group. The lot of you have found a bunch of ways to pass the time roadtripping, some more interesting than others. Today’s time killer? Making bracelets! With Iggy behind the wheel, and honestly, more than happy to sit and listen, the shenanigans ensue. 

“Uhhh, babes?” Prompto called out to the car. “Is this right?” To which one of you? Well.. narrowing it down to the only one of the group who knows a lick about the craft at hand, you answer. 

“Lemme see.” The blonde awkwardly holds up his mess of paracord to you. When making these sort of bracelets, the two working ends need to be even. Sweet sunshine over here had three working strings, which you didn’t know was possible. With a few tugs and a pat on the head for good measure and reassurance, crisis averted. 

“Aaaand you take the opposite side’s string and thread it through the loop you’ve made..” The trio listened carefully to your words, trying their best to imitate. Noct was oddly concentrated for a change, landing it first try. He wiggled his eyebrows at Gladio, who’s large hands have done him dirty. “Mmmm..” He rolled his eyes at the prince. 

You shifted from your tight spot between the two and leaned forward to whisper something to Prompto. “Big.. meaty.. claws..”

Miles and minutes passed, and the crafting kept going. With questions here and there, it was going well! It made you feel a certain way, seeing your boys take interest in little things like this. For a moment, it makes you forget why you’re on this trip in the first place. As of right now, you were a group of lovers in a fancy car, making bracelets to pass the time. Prince who?

Prompto was making one for Iggy, Noct for you, you for Gladio, and Gladio for Noct. And when there was a pit stop or some traffic, Iggy had started a bracelet for Prompto. He was a quick learner, and made an extra juuust in case.

“Sooo..” Noctis spoke from his perch atop the Regalia. “Y/N, why’d you pick neon pink for Gladdy?” 

Before you could find a joking reply, Gladio butted in. “Because real men wear pink. Bright pink.” 

“It’s like asking why he’s using all black for you Noct!” Prompto made eye contact with him through the mirror. “You know.. Because you’re emo.” 

That one got a laugh from Ignis, who was quickly reminded by Gladio about his own emo phase.

Waking the Prince

You leaned out of the window of the Regalia, your hands hanging near the bottom of the car as you waited for Prompto and Ignis to return from the store. “It’s so hot,” You whined loudly into the paint of the vehicle. “I think I’m going to melt.”

Gladio, who was content to stay in the back seat and read the last chapter of his book, let out a playful scoff. “The only way you’re going to melt is if someone poured water on you.”

You slid out of the car and onto the ground with a thud, your head popping up almost immediately to look at Gladio accusingly. It may have looked weird to someone else, but to Gladio, it was one of the most amusing things he’s seen all day. “Are you calling me a witch? I’ll have you know, just cause I can cast spells as well as Noct doesn’t make me a witch.”

He raised an eyebrow. “Oh yeah? Then what does it make you?”

You stood up fully, your torso visible from where he sat. “Magical, duh!” Both hands flew up to the sky with a shout as if you were summoning a sky god.

“Yeah,” he laughed. “Very magical. When was the last time you slept?”

You shrugged and brought your hands back down to open the car door and enter properly, considering you were sure that the others would be back soon. “Dunno,” you fought the urge to kick your feet up on the dash. “All my sleep is getting stolen by Noct. I mean look at him-” You turned around to glance at Noctis, who was halfway into the middle seat as he slept. “I have to wake him up just so he can move his ass and I can fit.”

He looked at the sleeping prince once, then put a marker in his book then set it to the side, a mischievous smirk forming on his lips. “Why not wake him up now?”

“HEELLPP!” You screamed, running as fast as you could away from the car and towards the store. “HOOLY SHIT GLADIO YOU DUMBASS HE’S GONNA KILL US!”

Gladio was right behind you, looking equally panicked and amused. “Quit your whining and run, damnit!”

“I AM RUNNING!”

Hearing the commotion outside, Prompto and Ignis summoned their weapons and ran out of the store, expecting an attack of some sorts. They rushed out of the store, only to be tackled by you two and pushed back inside and rushed behind the nearest shelf.

“What’s going on?!” Prompto panicked and you immediately shushed him with a finger to the lips.

“Shush! He’s coming for us!” You despaired. “I’m going to die before I even get to meet Lunafreya! What kind of an end is this?”

Ignis, entertaining the other three, crouched down lower and ushered them to join him. “Y/N, what did you do?”

Your eyes widened. You placed a hand over your heart as if you were just shot by your best friend. Well you were. In a way. “I didn’t do anything this time! It was all Gladdy! I told him not to do it, and now I’m not even going to make it out of the Crown City!”

You ignored the strange looks the customers gave you. Four Crownsguard cowering behind a store shelf to hide from Six knows what; It was definitely a sight to see and one that certainly would happen again once they set out to Galdin Quay.

“This is your fault, Ignis! You’re the one that wanted to stop for curatives!”

Then it was heard- the door to the shop opened, the bell that signals a new customer rang sharply through the air, and both you and Gladio froze.

You peeked through the gap of the shelf, watching as the angry prince stopped to look around the store before folding his arms over his chest.

“Ooh I’m dead. I’m so very very dead.” You panicked as Noct began to observe each and every crevice of the store.

“You said that you had nothing to do with this.” Ignis stated.

Noctis drew nearer, making a show of picking up a random can of Ebony from a stack. He turned it over, glancing over the nutrition label before setting it back on top of the display. You could hear Ignis scoff quietly at his disregard for the staff of the store.

“I did say that,” You hissed as the prince reached the aisle across from the hiding group. “Didn’t I?”

“We all know it was your idea, Y/N.” Gladio may have had a shit eating grin on his face, but he was watching your friend's every move, just like you. He was worried for his life. Just like you.

“Says the one that’s shaking in his boots,” You sneered. “You’re supposed to protect the king, not hide from him because of your bad choices.”

Prompto blinked. “What… exactly happened?”

You jabbed Gladio in the arm with your elbow, barely able to make him stumble like you wanted. “Dumbass over here decided to wake him up.”

“Aand you agreed to.”

With a sigh of exasperation, Ignis began to stand.

“W-w-what are you doing?!” You grabbed onto his leg with desperate hands, pulling him back down with you. “Do you want us to die?! Is that how you repay me for saving your life?!”

He looked forward as he stood fully, the only thing you managed to do was wrinkle his trousers (he’d deal with you later), and met eyes with the very person you were hiding from.

“Specs,” Noctis greeted, his tone clipped. He sounded as if someone killed his father. “Have you seen Gladio?”

You gave the man in question a winning smile. “I told you it was all your fault. You just didn’t want to say anything!”

Ignis cleared his throat. “Just.. Gladio?”

You quickly pushed Prompto to stand so you could hide behind two people. It also helped that Prompto was the definition of a distraction.

“Noct! What’s up?”

“Noct is apparently looking for Gladio. Have you seen him, Prompto?”

Prompto held his hands together behind his head. “Uh- I don’t think so…. Why? Did ‘ya need him for something?”

You motioned for Gladio to start crawling around the opposite end of the shelf, hopefully giving you enough time to escape back to the car and act like nothing happened. He gave you a nod and began to sneak out of the store.

“Alright,” Noct sounded closer, a bit more of a tease in his voice than a bite this time. “Have you seen Y/N?”

You didn’t have the chance to turn to the three people behind you, too focused on escaping the wrath of Noctis. If it’s one thing you didn’t want to be, it would be on the opposite side of his anger, which you were currently on. You hit the bottom of Gladio’s boot to urge him faster (he kicked back in short protest, but hurried on anyway).

“No, I uh… can’t say I have.” Prompto let out a nervous laugh.

“Huh. Shame. I guess I'll just have to….”

Suddenly a pair of thin, pale arms wrapped around your body and pulled you up, forcing you back until your back came into contact with Noctis’s chest.

“Noct! Hey, buddy!” You laughed, nervously patting the arms that were still wrapped around you. “What’re you doing here?”

“Where’s Gladio?” He asked, spinning you around so you faced him instead of Gladio (who made it out completely hidden, good job Gladdy). “And don’t try to lie, Specs can tell when you’re lying.”

You rolled your eyes. “Using my brother to your advantage is really low, Noct. I’m hurt.”

Ignis smirked. “Sometimes I wonder how we’re even related.”

“We’re not, I was adopted. Even a preschooler could have figured that out.”

Prompto had disappeared off to where you guessed Gladio was, leaving you with your bestfriend and your brother, a combination that you’ve experienced a bit too often. By now Gladio would have left the store, meaning you needed to get the hell out of there.

“He’s out by the Regalia,” You put your hands up in surrender, easing your way out of his hold. “Always has been from what I remember.” From the corner of your eye you saw Ignis raise an eyebrow, but he remained silent.

“And if he’s not?”

“If he’s not then you get to play King’s Knight all day and you can skip vegetables at dinner, and -”

“Noctis is most definitely not going to skip anything on his plate tonight!” Ignis intervened, taking the food reins from you the moment you thought you had them.

You shrugged your shoulders. “You’re right. Let’s just go back to the car.”

There it was, just as normal as it could be any day of the week. Prompto was sitting at the driver’s seat tapping the steering wheel to the drums of the music on the radio, and Gladio in his spot in the back, reading the new book series Prompto got him a while back.

“See?” You outstretched your arms in a grand sweeping motion in the direction of the car. “Like I said.”

Noct looked at you, then Gladio, then back to you. “Don’t think you’re out of this one.” He started toward the tank.

“HOLY SHIT GADIO HE’S GONNA KILL YOU! …… FUCKING RUN!!”

“Gladdy,” You whispered to get his attention from the passing rocks on the road. “Hey, Gladdy.”

Gladio glanced at you for a quick second, then looked back towards the road. “What?”

You scooted as far away from Noct as you could, pressing yourself against him. “What did he do to you?”

Gladio sighed through his nose and brought his hand up to pat your head. “You don’t want to know.”

Pouting, you removed his hand and decided to press the issue further. “Please tell me? Pleeeeaassee?”

A raised eyebrow. “You’re not gonna drop this, are you?”

“Nope!”

With a quick glance to the prince, who was more focused on the terrain of Leide more than anything, he opened his mouth to speak. “He-”

POP!

“Prompto, I swear by the Six, what did you do?”

“I didn’t do anything! It just happened!”

“Great. Who’s up for walking the rest of the way?”

“All the way to Hammerhead? Are you crazy?”

Prompto had a love for photography. He took photos of you constantly, whether you were ready or not.

Some of them turned out beautiful, others not so much.

Either way, he kept them all in his photo album.

He didn't often take photos of himself but instead of his friends, his significant other, nature, anything but himself.

You were the one to take photos of himself as well as you both together.

You were always happy with him. You comforted him when he was sad and were always there for him.

However, he was insecure and quietly kept his thoughts to himself. What if you were only using him to get to Noctis? Or Ignis? Or Gladiolus?

After all, Noctis was the prince. Gladiolus was strong and muscular, and Ignis knew how to cook.

Prompto could cook noodles, but anything else and it turned out to be a massacre.

It was the day before Valentine's day and Prompto was worried about what he could get you.

He didn't want to ruin this day for you and he sat on the roof of a building, fearing what would happen if you didn't get anything at all.

He would get you something, but he was worried about the things that could happen.

He sighed as he ran his hands through his hair.

He knew what you liked and what you didn't like, but what could he do for you?

You sat in the room you shared with Prompto. There weren't many rooms in the house, you didn't mind sharing with him.

You locked the door, knowing Prompto tended to walk into rooms without knocking first.

No matter how many times Prompto was told to knock by the other members of the house, he still forgot.

You looked at the board in front of you, glue dots in hand, decorations nearby. You had planned to give Prompto a handmade item for Valentine's day.

You knew Prompto was insecure. Sometimes he admitted to some things when he sat on the rooftop and you joined him.

Most of your emotional talks happened on the rooftop. It was his favorite place to go to when he felt sad or insecure.

Prompto stood up and headed inside, going to the bedroom. He turned the handle and it didn't move. It was locked.

"Hey Y/N, I'm going to the store. I'll be right back." His voice was laced with sadness. He felt terrible lying to you, but he didn't want you to know what he was doing.

You wished him well and continued to work on your project.

When it was finished, you covered it with a cloth and hid it in the back of your closet.

You joined Ignis, Gladiolus, and Ignis downstairs for dinner.

Prompto had returned from the store carrying a box in hand. He ran upstairs, stating he'd be down in a minute.

He looked around quickly, hoping he wouldn't be caught, and tried the doorknob again. It was unlocked.

He sighed with relief and stepped into his room. Closing the door behind him, he went straight for the closet and put the box on the top shelf of the closet.

He closed the closet doors and headed downstairs for dinner.

You didn't ask any questions, but thanked Ignis for the food.

February 14th arrived and Prompto woke up bursting with energy as if he had drunk many cups of coffee.

You rubbed your eyes and looked over at the clock. It was eight in the morning.

You rolled over and sat up, taking a minute before standing up.

Prompto had quickly readied himself for the day, while you slowly gathered your thoughts and followed after.

After finishing his breakfast, he went upstairs, grabbed his present, and headed out while you made your way downstairs, still tired after just waking up.

You slowly finished your breakfast and asked Ignis where Prompto had gone.

He was at the lake, which wasn't a far walk to get to.

You went and grabbed your item, keeping the cloth covering it as you followed in the general direction of where Prompto had traveled.

Prompto was smiling as he stood near the lake, watching you come closer to him.

"I got you something!" He said excitedly as he handed you a box.

You took it and handed him the item you had made him.

"Be careful, it's fragile."

He took it gently and watched, waiting for you to open your present.

You opened it and it was a stuffed chocobo and some candies.

Final Fantasy XV Rant

OK!!!! So I finally finished playing Final Fantasy XV as I had tried to play it multiple times over the years on different systems, but life always got in the way of me finishing it. Even now, I didn't play the game for almost a year before I finally finished it last night....and I have a few things to say...

I CANNOT BELIEVE THOSE FREAKING GODS! I am a huge fan of Percy Jackson, so when the game began mentioning gods and prophecies, I was like "OKAY BITCHES! LET'S SEE HOW WE CAN FIGHT IT!" nope....you can't change the fate of Noctis Lucis Caelum.....*Cue sad face*

Noctis and Luna need all the love and affection in the world. I will happily fight anyone and everyone to somehow travel to the beyond to make sure they get cuddles and snuggles and hugs and love.

Prompto's backstory is probably my favorite next to Ardyn's - I will get to him in a minute. That blonde boy needs to be protected with every power available. He did not deserve what happened to him, and I am glad he was able to befriend Noctis, Gladiolus, and Ignis.

Aranea is hot, and you cannot tell me otherwise....FIGHT ME!

Ardyn did not deserve to be duped like that. He was freaking healer! HE WAS HELPING PEOPLE! Those stupid gods totally set him up when they blessed him...who wants to join me to go rip them a new one on Ardyn's behalf?

Sooooo as you can see....I may be a little too emotionally invested in this game....as a result I now have lots of ideas of what to do. Fics, imagines, and headcanons will be coming soon y'all!
