The whole "Beast x Ancient ships are problematic" debate in the Cookie Run Kingdom fandom annoys me so much because 60-80% of the people saying it are hypocrites who go "oh but except SM and PV!" When it inevitably comes around to a ship they actually like.

Burning Spice x Golden Cheese is problematic because he tried to murder her and aspired to destroy everything she loves because destruction is the only thing that brings him joy at all. None of this matters but, sure, I get WHY you'd think that. Obviously if they were in a relationship it'd be abusive. Mystic Flour x Dark Cacao is problematic because she essentially murdered his friends/soldiers, leaving him alone so it'd be easier to manipulate him, almost convinced him into believing nothing truly matters so she could steal his Soul Jam and use its powers for her own purposes, showed him a vision of a reality where he died because of her, in which his son took his throne and nobody really missed him all that much to further prove her point. Yeah, that's mighty fucked up!

...but Shadow Milk and Pure Vanilla? Oh they're just two goofy goobers who've had a couple bad moments from time to time but it doesn't define them or anything. They still love each other so much! THAT IS ABUSE!!!! Does "abuse" just mean psychical violence to y'all?? Of course it doesn't, because MF also psychologically abused and manipulated DC, and you can recognize that, but when it's a ship you actually like? Oh nothing wrong here! This is what I mean when I say "antis are antis until it's a fucked up ship they like" and that "'problematic ship' really just means rarepair." Ships they don't like are problematic (because they know calling a ship "problematic" is a buzzword that instantly makes them win the argument even if it's untrue), but ships they do like, even if they're also problematic, conveniently have a thousand excuses for why they totally aren't bad but the Other ship is, even if it involves entirely erasing/ignoring integral parts of the story and the characters actions. Rarepairs (BS x GC, MF x DC) are easier to attack because hardly anyone will defend it, but popular ships (SM x PV) never get criticized, because if you try to, you suddenly have a bounty on your head, even if that ship is literally by their own definition problematic (sometimes even more than the looked down upon rarepair!).

Shadow Milk x Pure Vanilla is a "problematic ship". It is abusive, it is abuser x victim, NOT in the "uwu quirky toxic yaoi (they were mean to each other like one time)" way, and no amount of you woobifying Shadow Milk and blatantly lying about what happens to spread your narrative that it isn't will change that. This is not an opinion, or an agree-to-disagree situation, it is an objective fact. This isn't being said to scare or insult you if you're an antishipper that likes Shadownilla, my point isn't that "SHADOWNILLA FANS ARE PROSHITTERS!!" You know cuppa-ale? Xandri? The person who made tons of Crayzar fan art? They are actually quite problematic, and here's why.

First of all, they ship Crayzar with his brother, Tyetaynus. That's straight up incest. Crayzar would never make out with his brother. He would rather throw Tyetaynus into a meat grinder.

Xandri is literally OBSESSED with this shit. They made a whole playlist about it, and they reblogged some incestuous-looking fanart on their blog. The person who made the art is peantisdeliriouts, so make sure to block them too.

Most importantly, they admit they're a proshipper. They made a whole ass rant about it. It's too goddamn long, so that's why I only took pictures of the important parts. In a nutshell, Xandri thinks they're a "victim", but they're really not. They think they're getting "harrassed" over "fiction", but they're actually getting called out for their actions. Proshippers always act like this whenever you call them out, and it's so fucking irritating.

If this makes no sense I just woke up and I'm probably going to go back to sleep after this.

I see antis on TikTok talk about Sarah a lot so I thought I'd drop some two cents into this, and of course anyone is allowed to give thoughts and opinions.

In the episode "The Shippening" Sarah obtains a magic notebook from the awesome store by accident, in the episode she takes it inside and writes love stories about the people of Elmore. It's revealed that whatever she wrote/drew in the notebook became a reality and gumball, Darwin, and Sarah work together to undo everything.

Similar to my view on Natsuki's poem in ddlc, I feel like you can view this from a proship view point or just neutral in general. I am not saying the creators of the amazing world of gumball are proshippers, this is entirely my way of looking at the episode and I just feel you can look at the episode this way.

First, I'll talk about an anti view point from the episode, basically counterpoints antis might have. One I thought of was that the show is antiship because of the fact Sarahs ships and story's affected reality. And while that is a good point I will have to argue that Sarahs book is magical. The book is forcing the people of Elmore to be in a relationship, proshippers and their ships do not force people to comship or force people to do the things in reality.

Also the thing is no one really hates Sarah, gumball and Darwin are actively shown enjoy Sarah's company and the stories she writes (when it's not ships). And the only reason I feel gumball and Darwin don't like what Sarah is writing in this episode is because she's writing about (in their fictional world mind you) real people, with real feelings, and real lives. (AGAIN in their fictional world). If someone wrote about you with your sibling you'd probably be weirded out too, sense you're a real person with a real life.

Skip to the end of the episode and you'll find why I think this has somewhat of a proshipper mentality. At the end of the episode after Sarah saves the day, Darwin reads aloud from the notebook. "Gumball and Darwin kissed Sarah, but in the end, none of this mattered because it was all just fanfiction!" None of the stories Sarah wrote really mattered, because it just fanfiction. Notice how when she wrote that it fixed everything, it didn't matter what she wrote because it wasn't real, it was just fanfiction.

Gumball and Darwin don't hate Sarah, they just think she's weird but they still like her. Even Sarah admits she got a little carried away. Sarah is obviously supposed to represent that part of the fandom, but she's not hated, she has friends and is well liked, everyone just thinks she's weird, and then again everyone in Elmore is weird, she's just weird in a different way.

That's the end for my thoughts, in a nutshell fiction is fiction. Again I don't know if this made sense to anyone, this probably sounds like complete nonsense. I'm like half asleep right now.
