Group of people decided to create an archive with a thorough tagging system that upholds anti-censorship and fandom etiquette (proshipper ideals). They created AO3 for that purpose. Which is why it’s in their literal GUIDLINES that they DO NOT delete fics based on ‘this is icky fiction’ reports. They literally had to make an article recently going over these things BECAUSE of you idiots.
