I'm the generation raised with the idea that virtual reality, aka the internet, would bring people closer, but it creates bigger gaps between people, alienates them, increases loneliness and can't really 'talk' about some serious stuff. It is all the more evident since I published my article in The usa Internet Encyclopedia of Philosophy.
