Its much easier to give someone a purpose, when who they are is fundamentally shattered. Not that the god of death intended it to be that way, but it definitely didn't hurt his plan.

do u think hux ever gets like, amusedly-exasperated that people still keep underestimating him. like the first few years it was really annoying. but now he's 34 and there have been so many instances of his opponents mysteriously disappearing or getting suddenly reassigned to tattooine or dying in a tragic speeder accident or whatever. and when some people STILL look at him and go "nah this guy is pathetic there's no way i'm gonna take him seriously as a potential threat," it takes all his willpower not to either audibly laugh at them or go off on a rant asking how the fuck they think he survived this long in first order politics

What if the moon gets to be so high and ethereal while the sea’s insecurities keep it tethered to the ground-?? What if the moon is a lonely figure, unable to reach the Earth and Sea because they’re forced to be the moon?? What if the storms block the moon and seas from even seeing each other??? What if the moon influences the ocean to change and adapt??
