You guys!!! My head is pretty much LMM tuned at all times. This gorgeous dress on Chloe Flower IMMEDIATELY made me think of a sexy version of Anne’s first puffed sleeve dress!!!!!

AND just to make sure, I googled brown gloria and came across this awesome image I had never seen before from the FB page “L.M. Montgomery Literary Society” (which I immediately followed). I’m a mess.

Then I, of course, fell down the rabbit hole of Google….

Forgot how bad I felt for Anne towards the end of Anne of Ingleside, because Gilbert is so out of it and Christine Stuart just gives really vindictive vibes. Now on Rainbow Valley, and I am always disappointed with this book because there is too much of the Manse children.

Also I was looking at my dresses as one of my university societies is having a Christmas dinner, I only have three, and the one I’m going to wear is very Anne of Green Gables with puffed sleeves and daisies on it.

Final process of Design 2 for my 2022 end of year(academic) runway!

This was the easiest of the three to make, however I did learn the new skill of sewing elastic into garments. (For the sleeve, thank you YouTube 🫡)

I’m sorry, but, Megan Follows will always REIGN supreme as the one and only, true-to-form, original copy of ANNE. No one can or will ever compare.

I cannot stand the remakes. These “Anne” characters always make me cringe. Just STOP already!!

Princess Zoe

I was mulling over the idea of doing another portrait a royalty painting of one of my characters! Zoe is the princess in my story with my tree lady (carson) and this was the first time drawing her in a rendered style in a longggg time (and her design has gone through like, 10 iterations)

I really want to do an outfit page with her and explore her fashion too, so maybe I'll do that soon
