Nyurapayia Nampitjijnpa (1935 - 2013) was one of the great characters of the Kintore region, instrumental in the development of the Haasts Bluff/Kintore Women's Painting Camp in 1994.

Nyruapayia Nampitjinpa (aka Mrs Bennett) painted her mother's Dreamings, which are connected to sites at Yumarra, Wantjunga and Tjalilli rockholes near Papunya, Pukara, Ngalkinginga and Munkara rockholes. The depictions of the sand-dune country and surrounding rocky outcrops bear a relationship to the designs used for body painting during the inma ceremonial dance. Deeply concerned with women's culture, her designs often depict women's ceremonies and rituals. The gathering of bush tucker such as kampurarrpa (desert raisin) and quandong are also central themes.

Mrs Bennett favoured strong contrasts, using blacks and pale yellows/creams set in relief against, often, a red ground. Her acclaimed work is included in the collections of the National Gallery of Australia, the Art Gallery of NSW, the Art Gallery of the Northern Territory, the National Gallery of Victoria, Artbank and in corporate and private collections internationally.

maana janab ne pukara nahi has this fun vibe which is so fitting because yes he'd be super teasing but somehow also successfully manage to announce to everyone listening how you're like 24/7 on his mind and how obsessed he is with you. the way the guy is trying to woo the girl in the movie; i just see him doing that so vividly ESPECIALLY how he steals her racket for a bit

similarly, accha ji mai haari (he just gives so dev anand core); the fun beats and chaotic vibes of the convo/lyrics WHEN HE DOES THAT FAKE ACCENT THING IN THE SONG it's literally eunseok. watch the mv and argue with the wall tysm and idk why but the lowkey pessimistic questions/debates he poses to the female lead seem so perfect for him

on a serious note, gum hai kisi ke pyaar mein oh my god. the tutor vibes; him helping you out with songwriting - you both know the other wants you but you're both too prideful to actually make something happen and hence you hide behind the symbolism and metaphors of the song :/

also him performing rimjhim gire sawaan at like a formal-ish event. his only purpose is for you to know how much he's fallen for you but ofc he can't tell you that.. lowkey thinking of this with him having feelings for you while you're betrothed to be with someone else... the classic forbidden love story which would obviously end with the two of you running away <3

also imagine him serenading you with a slower song like ye raatein ye mausam holy shit. the twinkly beats and the soft music siiiiighs. he might not be great with words when it comes to you; but eunseok will make his feelings known come hell or high water. and he'd do it in the most gorgeous, artsy way possible too

finally, a little more unplatonic (a lot.) and mischievous with something like ek ladki bheegi bhaagi si !!! the flirty tum hee kaho ye koi baat hai~ is literally him. he'd be so subtle with it but you know he's talking about you. also the idea of him working on/fixing your car while he sings this is so...

A thing to wonder.

I celebrated a lot yesterday, i danced my heart out at our college celebration and chanted so loudly that my voice is gone now and decorated the college with numerous diyas that shined so bright to indicate the homecoming of our Ram lalla but a weird feeling kept gwaning at me seeing a lot of unnecessary hate against atheists and other religions. Would shri ram truly want this? Not the temple...but the unnecessary hate that some people continued to spread hiding behind our lord's name.

I saw a poet site these lines "jab tak ram mann main nahi, tumne Ram pukara nahi" which really resonated with me and then I saw this guy's story on Instagram who had previously.....creep texted me a number of times but because he's a common 'friend' I couldn't do anything and he's made a lot of my friends uncomfortable before so we usually avoid him and I had this thought....does this person deserve to chant the holy name of Lord shri ram? And spread hate against other people through Instagram while saying jai shree ram? How is the basic ideology any different from the terrorists and the hinduphobic people who hurt other human beings in the name of their god.

And for what? Just for the sake of some useless game of political left or right? Isn't our love for our Lord bigger than politics? Isn't love just bigger.

It's not just about this one specific person. It's a lot more. The same people who disrespect women and consider them objects are today chanting Jai Shree Ram, isn't that just the most fascist thing to do? It just frustrated me to no end to see these people doing that.

I saw the people who say the most controversial things against large societies, chanting, and it just made me wonder how many of them don't truly have Lord ram in their hearts and are here for just stupid politics. And that thought left me truly sad.
