Trilha que cruza Jordânia revela paisagens, cultura e história

Com mais de 650 km que percorrem 52 vilarejos e cidades, a Jordan Trail cruza a Jordânia de norte a sul – de Qais à Aqaba.

A trilha pode ser feita em 40 dias e passa pelas diversas paisagens e vistas do interior do país. Desde as colinas arborizadas do Norte até os desertos e falésias com vista para o Vale do Jordão, pela cidade de Petra ou mesmo as águas cristalinas do Mar Vermelho.

A Jordan Trail é também uma jornada pela história da Jordânia. Viajar por todo o país permite que os visitantes descubram os diversos aspectos de sua cultura, provem uma culinária variada e deliciosa e passem noites em casas de família locais, conhecendo mais sobre a vida dos jordanianos.

De Umm Qais para Ajloun

Na região mais ao norte da trilha, os aventureiros passam por colinas verdes, desfiladeiros, antigos sítios romanos e florestas de carvalhos. A paisagem diversificada e fértil, com suas oliveiras antigas e fontes termais, floresce a cada primavera, com árvores carregadas de frutas frescas.

As aldeias são pioneiras no turismo comunitário, com casas de família, refeições caseiras e venda de artesanato, acrescentando uma verdadeira experiência cultural à viagem. São 80 Km, que podem ser percorridos em quatro dias de caminhada.

De Dana para Petra

Um trecho inspirador da Jordan Trail que foi nomeado pela National Geographic como uma das 15 melhores caminhadas do mundo. A trilha desce a vila de Dana, no topo da colina, até Wadi Feynan e os dramáticos planaltos montanhosos de Wadi Araba.

Essa região atravessa várias zonas climáticas, diversos ecossistemas, cânions escondidos e labirintos de colinas e vales. O cenário se transforma de montanhas imponentes a terras agrícolas, com novas paisagens se apresentando a cada quilômetro.

Um dos locais mais memoráveis do trecho é Petra, com a chance de entrar na cidade pela ‘porta dos fundos’ e seguir os passos de antigos comerciantes. A extensão total é de 72.6 Km, que podem ser percorridos em quatro dias de caminhada.

De Wadi Rum para Aqaba

Deixando a vila de Wadi Rum, a trilha passa pelas montanhas de Jabal Rum e Jabal Um Ishrin, na paisagem icônica do deserto. O caminho continua por Jabal Khazali, Jabal Qattar e se perde entre os cenários únicos e coloridos das montanhas desertas de arenito de Wadi Rum.

O destino final são as águas quentes do Mar Vermelho e o porto de Aqaba. São 113,2 Km de trilha que podem ser percorridos em seis dias de caminhada.
