Summary:

Chay once read online somewhere that you can lure skittish cats back home with blankets that smell like their favorite human. Looking down at the huge ergonomic beanbag and blanket he has 'casually tossed' (very carefully positioned) near the corner of his room where Kim pretends he isn't Edward Cullen for 1-2 hours every night, he crosses his fingers that the same tactic will work on his adorable not-quite-burglar/not-quite boyfriend. --- On a mission to gather information about Kinn's newest bodyguard and his Father's strange behavior as of late, Kim stumbles upon one (totally not adorable beyond all reason) boy who poses a couple problems. The first is that he's a major security risk if Porsche shares intel. The second is that Kim can't stop thinking about him.

I've mentionned him in passing in the last costume log blog post as some ill-fated first attempt at a fursuit head, so it's only fair I actually showed him off at some point: here's Uncle Uncanny the Nargacuga in the flesh.

I started him in late 2020 as a little technique-learning project during a time where cons were dead and costume motivation was an all-time low. It's a funky little Nargacuga head all made from scratch! He's lined and everything, and I'd be crazy to call him bad because I know objectively he's a very handsome boy for a first attempt, but he always looked a little... funky. Despite all the flaws though, he was so dang fun to make that he paved the way for the Wurmple partial and other future projects, and was an invaluable learning experience! I'd never bring him out though because the actual WEARING experience is a hot mess. Like, the materials are so bad he's periodically falling apart despite never taking him out to an event. He's so hard to breathe in, too... So back to storage you go! Speaking of, good lord please periodically check your costume storage to make sure everything's a-ok. He's been in the same dry closet as everything else for years and for some reason the plastic bag he's been stored in was just casually FLAKING APART in a sticky, blooming mess (while everything else was just fine, including some other ANCIENT pieces in similar bags) . My hands feel so gross and smell like copper but he's survived just fine, thankfully. Seriously, though. Check your storage.

I'm 93k words into writing the most epic Supernatural fanfiction ever (that is nowhere near the end by the way, it's gonna be like 300k) and I'm feeling stupid every day for putting that much literary effort into this because it's fanfiction and i should be an author irl, and i think i should stop writing it but also i can't possibly stop writing it because it's too damn good dammit and am i supposed to let it be untold??? when it's so real and raging in my own mind??? it's going to be silly and romantic and seriously epic and dramatic and action-packed and angsty and a character study and filled with themes and metaphors and actual plots and storylines and interesting original characters but at the same time everything is completely ingrained in the show and its mythology and hopefully takes it to full potential providing an alternative s15 and a completely different ending for the show, it's basically a literary masterpiece but it's fanfiction and what the hell am i supposed to do with it

Expanding on the Woozi sugar daddy bit, I can picture it because of that clip of him just giving Vernon his BLACK CARD without hesitation. Also important to note is that he just literally carries it around in his pocket. He does not give a single fuck. Paying for dinner. Gifting them whatever they want. He'd have a serious thing for giving them specifically lingerie (ofc), high heels or red lipstick (cause he wants it on his dick by the end of the night wink wink). And he'd like making wagers e.g. "if you do this for me, i'll buy you xyz" "since you were so nice for me, i got you xyz"

Intro & Masterlist

Hallo everyone!! I wanted to assemble my original story concepts on a separate blog to keep myself more organized. My main blog is @scribe-of-monsters and my current main project is a gothic lit-inspired webcomic that I am in the process of scripting, which can be found at @monstersofmancomic.

This blog will be dedicated to my original story ideas. Here's a brief intro/index for them:

"Unfamiliar" is a horror/comedy about two high school students who are unexpectedly thrust into the supernatural when one of them is bitten by a vampire bat. Seeking help with their newfound circumstances, Nic and Velvet run away to a nearby coven to lay low. But the human world isn't done with them just yet- and to make matters worse, the coven is under attack from a mysterious beast: a witch's familiar corrupted by dark magic.

"Entangled" is a Norse mythology-inspired action/adventure series wherein Aster Hodges, the demigod son of Odin, seeks revenge against the Aesir by setting off the events to begin Ragnarok -- starting with freeing Loki and Sigyn from their underground prison. While on the run from the forces of Valhalla, they rescue Myrna, a young elf seer, from the cult Aster was raised in, and the four travel the Nine Worlds in a quest to free Loki's monstrous children and bring Asgard to ruin once and for all.

"Speechless" is a fantasy/drama about Kyran, the heir to the Daemon throne, who secretly hires a band of rebels to assassinate their mother, the queen, in order to stop her from inciting a war with the Faeries. To reinstate peace, Kyran joins forces with the Fae princess Uriel to hunt down the rebels, who kidnapped the Faery king during the assassination. As the manhunt rages on, Kyran finds it increasingly difficult to keep their involvement in the attack hidden-- and the rebels' general gunning for their throne only makes matters worse.

"The Villsvill Chronicles" is a comedy following three kids and their ghost friend as they investigate the supernatural goings-on in their town. As they explore further, they learn that the nearby science institution is hiding a dark secret, and that the mad scientist in charge has transformed into a monster bent on stealing all the town's magic for himself.

something i love about fanfiction is that between all the more expected aus and multi-chapter fics, the tags are full of people just being like 'what if this battle-hardened, world weary assasin was like...at a deli counter. would that be suprisingly fucked up for him or what.' and you're just left sitting there like fuck man. i would literally never have considered that but. i suppose it would.
