I just want a traumatic little bed hog who’s part furnace and makes small happy noises in their sleep because they know they’re not alone. The kind that doesn’t snore or steal blankets and that reaches out to make sure you didn’t leave because you do that to them too. The kind that you can play with their hair without disturbing their sleep and who doesn’t mind a little sneaky-sneak. And that falls asleep almost right away when they lay down and faster if you’re there with them, content to not being alone. Also the kind that falls asleep randomly in your presence because they’re so relieved and relaxed around you that sometimes they can’t help it. The truly trusting kind who never questions your motives and who supports you despite your weirdness and the chaos in your head.

Why is this so hard to find?

do you think Branch would still feel somewhat uncomfortable around his Bros in the future? Due to being so unfamiliar with being a part of a family? 😞😞😞😞

even tho they seemed like they were willing to try at being a family again at the end of TBT but obviously 20 something years is a Hell of a long time and in Branch's case it was pretty much his whole life.

so do you think there'd still be a level of tension and uncomfortability?

like maybe we see the other Bros just playing happy families seemingly easily slotting back into their old dynamic while of course having fun sharing the newer parts of their lives with each other.

but maybe Branch would still feel somewhat uncomfortable about it even if he isn't exactly sure why or maybe he even straight up has a touch of imposter syndrome feeling like he doesn't belong in the family or any kind of family for that matter.

given he spent nearly his entire life as a loner so I can't imagine suddenly being expected to slot into a a big family would be all that easy kinda different from the other Bros where they all mostly grew up together.

and even after splitting apart went on to still have close people in their lives Bruce obviously had his wife and later children Clay had Viva and the rest of the Putt Putt Trolls.

and while Floyd doesn't have any cannon relationships I imagine he was a fairly sociable person who at least had close friends over the years.

only exception is JD given he also lived mostly alone for all those years with only Rhonda for company but he still Grew up with the Brothers and their Grandma up until he was likely a late teenager/young adult.

so I feel Branch would very likely be the one who'd have the Hardest time adjusting to just suddenly being a part of a large family again or any kind of family at all really.

what do you think? do you think there'd still be some awkwardness/uncomfortableness from Branch when it comes to his Family in the future?

I find this stuff interesting to think about lol I Really got my Fingers crossed we do get that Christmas Special in the future and they explore something like this since it'd be a pretty good chance to do so if it does take place around Bro zone's first Christmas back together as a family.

Branch straight up lived by himself as an orphan for most of his life so having him just be all okay and easily adjusting to having 4 Brothers back in his life would be disappointing tbh.

I think people should really remember that beyond all the angst and the trauma and the mental illness.... Sunny is an inherently goofy, incredibly silly guy who loves his friends more than life itself. EVERYTHING in headspace was made from his imagination. That doesn't just mean the scary parts or the super cool symbolic parts. It also means the shenanigans in sprout mole village and the elaborate sweetheart shipfics and pluto and whatever the hell is up with rain town and the Hector saga. This guy is basically making a fucked up earthbound mod and it's awesome. Strange little art kid.

I have been thinking about my dark urge's childhood lately, which includes a childhood friendship between Sylas and Enver too. so baby Enver is also there.

Sylas Maeve was found and adopted by Violet and Mayric Maeve - he is one of three 'outcast' children they have taken in. His older sister is a drow girl named Ashlynn, and his younger brother is a half-orc boy named Fynn.

and yes, Sylas has always looked a little... weird.

fun childhood facts are that he hated having his hair done but his mother loved the bonding experience so he never actually cut his curls off. And that little artificer Enver made them a pair of sending stones that they essentially used as walkie-talkies playing in the streets of the lower city.

-> this is such an interesting observation that got overlooked since it's just a three-panel-convo:

Eunyung, despite being a people person who has lots of friends/contacts, he is the quiet type. present but silent. which makes sense since he's always on his phone unless someone directly interacts with him.

-> it's interesting bc you'd expect the popular pretty guy always surrounded by friends to be a loud and outgoing extrovert. but that's really not the case for him. quite the opposite actually.

he only started being more chatty after meeting Haejoon bc he needed to fill the silence and ease the tension (yk, bc HJ hated him cuz stabbing). and bc HJ is generally even more quiet than him (<- to be expected from someone who's been bullied and is still grieving their mother)

what piercings does Danny have in your CFAU?

Danny’s got double lobe piercings on both ears, and then helixes, and an orbital on one side! Then he’s got an eyebrow piercing on the right side of his face. I don’t have any particular reason for why he’s got piercings as an adult, I just thought it’d be a fun way to indicate a physical change from when he was 14 and last saw the Waynes, to the next time they see him. Although with this version of Danny (rather than my original, unserious beta version of CFAU), it probably would follow that he'd potentially get piercings when he was older. (So not a total shock)
