i see so many people saying on how aizawa cried so it hurt him mroe quith kurigiri and whatever, but yamada literally was crying too, and it seemingly stuck with him too. this man has 3 jobs, does great and all of them considering he's well known and doesn't have a bad rep, this weirdo cares for his students and has shown to care for his friends, he's EXTREMELY smart despite being a nut head sometimes, he's doing great and he normally always has energy. aizawa is a good character even if he is a rat (derogatory) but just because his pain has been shown more through the series doesn't mean it doesn't e xist.

dont be like "well yamadfa is over shirakumo already etc etc" because

1- getting over a death takes A LOT of work and effort

2- it's been 15 years.

i dont think its possible to get over a death. you can get accustomed to the loss and miss them but let them rest in peace, but i don't think it's possible to get over death and get ready for the next.

also, i know im probably being overdramatic and this isn't irl. but through my eyes, NEITHER of them are actuallly "over it". and like gran torino said, its like opening up an old wound.

Quith-Pa

Makes 15 or 16 balls

Ingredients: 1 orange, 6 ounces (1 cup) dried apricots, coarsely chopped, 3/4 cup unsweetened coconut, toasted, 3/4 teaspoon pure vanilla extract, Kosher salt

Using a Microplane, grate the orange peel to yield 1 1/2 teaspoons of finely grated zest. Squeeze the orange to yield 1 1/2 tablespoons of juice.

In a full-size or mini food processor, combine the apricots, 1/4 cup of the coconut, the orange zest and juice, vanilla, and a tiny pinch of salt. Process until the mixture is very finely chopped, uniform, and cohesive, pulsing and stopping to scrape down the sides of the work bowl as necessary. Scrape the mixture into a small bowl. Put the remaining 1/2 cup coconut in a wide, shallow bowl.

Roll scant 1-tablespoon portions of the apricot mixture into 1-inch ballls, gently pressing as you roll to help them cohere (you should have 15 or 16 balls). Working with 3 or 4 balls at a time, roll them in the remaining coconut, pressing them gently to help the coconut adhere. Place the balls on a plate and rest them (to firm up and dry out slightly) for 45 minutes. The balls will kepp, stored in an airtight container at room temperature, for about 3 days.
