the thing about pro-life is...
even if an abortion was murder, the right to bodily autonomy overrides that
i know i worded that weird so let me explain
a fetus or embreyo is using the pregnant person's organs in order to survive, it can't live by itself
it is dependent on the pregnant person's organs in order to live
therefore if the person does not want that fetus there, if they do not want to carry that baby to term, they have a right to get that fetus out of their body
if something is using your body, living thing or no, without your PERMISSION and without you WANTING it to be there, bodily autonomy gives you the right to get rid of it
doesnt matter if that thing is a human
if it could be a human
if it could cure cancer
if it could end poverty
bodily autonomy gives YOU the right to CHOOSE

Graham Linehan claiming he sold out all 10,000 copies of his book when every new source says he sold less than 400 total is actually a great representation of the average gender critical's relationship to the truth

anyway the “kill all men” movement is “radical feminism” and if I catch any of that shit coming from any of my mutuals or followers you’re getting blocked and reported.
making men inferior is not feminism.

Just want to let anybody know that if I accidentally reblogged a post from a Terf/RadFem/Exclusionist it’s because I didn’t know. I mostly reblog stuff from my phone where I don’t have computer extensions to let me know which blog is trans/nb safe. If I happen to do so please politely send me an ask! I promise it won’t be a big deal and I’ll make sure to delete the post as soon as I can!
My blog will always be a trans/nb safe space.
Thanks!

So we all agree that if J. K. R*wl*ng makes her way here, then we are all going to bully her off the platform just like with Alex Jones and John Green, right?

radfem considering testosterone use
i am not required to justify my personal decisions to an online audience, but i would value other opinions and perspectives. it's one of the reason i got into radical feminism.
the preface:
i will be microdosing and moving slowly, as to eventually stop.
i waited this out so i could be mentally matured, and i'm now 21.
i am well-versed in all potential side effects, neutral and negative.
i took care to improve and become my favorite version of myself before taking hormones. this is not a magic fix.
i actively practice body neutrality. i will always be a biological female, and have long since made peace with this fact. again, not a magic fix.
i've scheduled an appointment (with alarming ease tbh) at planned parenthood for a consultation, but it's a while off and could be cancelled.
i'll answer any other questions. only clause is dni if you describe detrans women as "mutilated" because i don't fuck with that :)

Allow me to reminisce about the time I told a radfem her views weren't extreme enough and she should hate everyone, regardless of gender because people are that awful
If you're still out there, I hope you've seen the light.

soooo i again stumbled upon a radfem blog, and i saw a post that said "transphobia saves lives".
with that logic, one could say "lesbiphobia saves lives" because 1 in 3 lesbians has been sexually assualted by another woman.
this is why terfs are silly, silly, people, because of their blatant double standards.
EDIT: why are terfs and radfems interacting???? please fuck off

So phrases like "people with uteruses" or "people who have periods" never really bothered me as much as more overtly dehumanizing phrases like "bleeders" or "birthing bodies", but I saw a post today talking about the abnormal symptoms women experienced after getting tear gassed protesting, that ended with something like "we don't know the full effects of tear gas on people with uteruses". And what struck me about that is that's not really correct, because female people without uteruses (either bc they were born without one or bc they had a hysterectomy) will still experience different symptoms after being tear gassed than male people. Women metabolize substances differently than men, our immune systems are different, our hormonal cycles are different, our skin has different thicknesses, etc. All of those things have potential effects on tear gas reactions, and are not dependent on whether or not we have a uterus. They're dependent on whether or not we're female. So saying "people with uteruses" when what is meant is "female people" is not really accurate. And I realized that a lot of times when people use those kinds of phrases, they aren't being accurate.
For example, I'm sure we've all seen people say things about how the repeal of Roe v Wade will harm people with uteruses/people who can get pregnant/etc. And while yes, it definitely harms those people, the full truth is that abortion bans harm *female* people, *regardless of if they can get pregnant or have a uterus.* Because female people who don't have uteruses can still get pregnant, and in those rare cases will 100% of the time need an abortion. Female people who deal with infertility and can't carry a fetus to term can still be jailed for miscarrying. Female people who are completely sterile (for whatever reason) can still be denied medications/medical treatment on the grounds that the treatment could theoretically harm a fetus. Female people who may currently have no uterus/no longer be able to get pregnant but who have had an abortion in the past will face increased stigma.
Here's another example:
Tumblr media
It seems pretty straightforward- menstruation stigma is experienced by people who menstruate. But again, that's only half true. Period stigma is experienced by all female people, regardless of if they menstruate. Think about the fact that we are told female people should not hold political leadership because "what if a female president has PMS and starts a war", despite the fact that almost all female presidential candidates are old enough that they would have experienced menopause. Female people have their feelings dismissed because "it must be that time of the month", regardless of if they're too young to menstruate or too old or if they have a condition causing amenorrhea. Female children grow up seeing periods- a natural function of their bodies- portrayed as disgusting, dirty and gross, as making them unclean, as something to dread and fear. This affects them before they experience menarche, this affects them even if they never experience menarche. It affects all female people.
I could come up with more examples, but you get the idea. Reducing female people to singular body parts and organs inherently denies the reality of femaleness. All parts of us (both biological and social) interact with all other parts of us to form an experience that can't be understood by chopping us up and putting our individual functions under the microscope. In order to get an accurate picture you need to look at the whole (female) human.

Kathleen Stock, known TERF, just published a 'thinkpiece' that was somehow devoid of all critical thought, in which she explained her stance on abortion, and how if someone is pregnant, the people close to them - meaning their partner, parents, siblings, and existing children - are all invested in the outcome of the pregnancy, and therefore should get equal say to the person who is actually pregnant in matters of abortion.
Can we PLEASE stop calling transphobes 'feminists'? Because like... where is the feminism happening here?

Seriously though, fuck terfs and radfems who double down on their bullshit and tell other trans people that they're "using the murder of a child" to "further their own agenda", like really Becky?
When we get mad at the abhorrent murder of our own community and try to spread awareness, you tell us that we're disgusting pigs twisting the death of someone into an argument for our benefit, (protecting trans people. How evil, right?) while you pretend to remain ignorant to the fact that YOUR IDEAOLOGY is KILLING CHILDREN ALL OVER THE WORLD.
Make no mistake, they know that accusing us of that makes no sense, but it's the only way for them to argue their way out of being part of a movement that tells others to kill trans people.
They are cowardly hypocrits who need to twist reality to justify their hatred. They will try to gaslight people and shift blame any way they can.

I hope one day you look at what you are now and are ashamed of it. I hope one day you become a better person. And I hope one day you become proud of getting out of this mindset, of this self destructive ideology. Once the Right is done with Trans people they'll come after Bisexuals next, then Gay and Lesbian people, then they'll force women back into the kitchen and strip away MORE rights. We do not have a chance unless we stand together, not torn apart.
You have no idea what you're talking about. I live in a country which was ruled by a far-right government for the last 8 years. Wanna guess who they've come after first and foremost? They've come after WOMEN. Abortion was banned. Women were insulted by right-wing men almost on a daily basis, as well as LGB people, who still have no right to get married here. Trans people, on the other hand, are able to undergo "gender affirming" surgeries and change their gender officially.
The Right has been coming after women and homosexual people years before even a concept of being trans was named.
And they do to this day. If you think that women and LGB people are somehow privileged and trans people are the only ones being oppressed then you're a fucking idiot.
So no, I won't stand together with people who think that my struggles and oppression are an identity one can just have or not have. I won't stand with people who think that women enjoy their position in the society bc hey, if they didn't, they could always transition! I won't stand with people who think WOMEN = long hair, makeup, dresses, being silly and cute, MEN = short hair, pants and actually having a personality. I won't stand with people who think that lesbians who don't like dicks are transphobic and therefore evil.
I used to be on your side. Now I'm not and I'll never be again. Because YOUR ideology is self-destructive. Y'all are literally undergoing dangerous, unnecessary surgeries to fulfill your fantasies. Y'all hate your bodies. There's nothing destructive with being a woman who accepts her sex and who cares about women's rights. I hope YOU will wake up one day.

I am a bit torn between meta and phallo. I know for a fact that I want bottom surgery, I just don't know which type.
I'd love to have meta, but the size might be an issue for me, along with my BMI.
I'd like phallo, but the recovery time, the rod, the price, and everything else is unfavorable. I mostly just like the size.

I saw a post of a radfem making fun of her transmasculine classmate in college because of their binder.
I have been looking into going back to school and settling on online classes for a multitude of reasons(time, flexibility, price, etc).
This makes me a bit more happy with my choice. I'd prefer not to transition with an audience, and to not have some twerps scrutinize my every move as a trans person.
