This was the last full costume I ever made (at the last con I ever attended pre pandemic) and I’m still damn proud of him. Party on Ixataca.
I still have occasional fantasies about building costumes & selling them off but it’s always so far down my to-do lists.

ooooOOOOOO HOW ABOUT SOME JEFFCEST? when the storm breaks???? 👀👀👀👀
send me an ask and I'll tall you about one of these WIPs
This is my Rain God/Sunshine/Ghost/Evil Science Husband marathon sex PWP that's also like. 5 chapters long with a prequel and a sequel 🤡 I've drawn a bunch of spicy art for it that tumblr unfortunately won't let me post, too. Essentially it's a combination of acekimagenda's idea that Rain is the only one who could dom Sunshine + my idea that Ghost is Rain's Goodest Boy.
I won't get too into it bc there's an actual hint of plot that I don't want to spoil, but essentially: Sunshine is Husband's first (successful) clone, and Sunshine has a lot of resentment about it. Esp with Ghost being the last one, and him being obviously Husband's favorite because he's so sweet and perfect, not like crazy, violent Sunshine. He ends up with weirdly biblical daddy issues/kink from it, in a Frankenstein kind of way. (Doesn't literally call Husband "daddy", but refers to him as Creator and sometimes as Father in the religious sense). And then they all fuck about it <3
Unlike their darling Ghost—the last of his true creations—Sunshine couldn’t find an ounce of sympathy within himself for the other man. He only wished he’d been there to bear witness. Though he supposed seeing the results would have to suffice. The scientist, once so proud and arrogant, left a broken wretch in the wake of endless tests, poking and prodding and injecting and cutting, his downfall wrought by his own design. Poetic.  Of course, bleeding heart that Ghost was, he’d rescued their creator from His purgatory. Put Him all back together again like a faithful little puppet. He refused to resent Him for his own treatment. Naive boy. Oh, how Sunshine adored him. Especially when Ghost’s tender care meant he could break their creator all over again, take Him apart piece by piece knowing Ghost would be there to stitch those pieces back together, and so the cycle would renew. Again and again and again.  It was only fair.  Electricity pulsed at the base of Sunshine’s spine, lightning arcing through the vertebrae and straight into his brainstem, tearing a strangled cry from his throat.  “You are wandering,” came a low, thunderous voice that rumbled straight into his empty core. Fingers dug into his lower back, still sparking with tantalizing little licks of plasma. Sunshine wondered if they scorched his skin.  “A little,” he admitted on a breathy laugh, delighting in the displeased hum he received in response. Rain didn’t like to be ignored. He had that same egotistical quality as any deity, the same as his creator, that demanded attention. Devotion. Worship. But Sunshine bowed for no man, nor god. Not willingly—not without incentive.  “Insolent,” Rain murmured, cool mist dripping from even colder lips and curling around Sunshine’s ear. He shivered.  Rain drew himself back, up to his full height, and dragged Sunshine along with.  While Ghost made love to their creator on the bed, Rain pinned Sunshine against the foot of it, hard oak driving into the sharp jut of his hip bones. The insistent press of Rain’s hand at his lower back wasn’t nearly enough to make Sunshine bend to his will. He continued to stand proudly, ignoring the shadow-cloaked presence looming at his back, even as the static in the air around him made every one of Sunshine’s hairs stand on end.  “Why must you make everything difficult?” Rain asked, sighing, a gusty breeze that tousled Sunshine’s hair. “Your pride does not serve you well.” “I think it does.” Look at what his pride has earned him: his creator brought low, a slave to the very things He’d made to serve Him. A celestial deity, a storm made flesh, a god, answering to his pleasure. And Ghost, darling boy that he was, looking up to Sunshine as if he were a god himself, always with such wonder in his big brown eyes. Innocence, as well, that Sunshine could never seem to shake, no matter how he tried to taint him.  “Hmm.” Rain stroked a light hand all the way from the base of Sunshine’s spine to the nape of his neck, where he held him firmly. A final chance to submit. Sunshine refused. “Very well.”

Kasogonagá, a weather goddess of the indigenous Toba people of Argentina. She takes the form of either an ant eater or elephant, being able to transform into whatever form suits her fancy at the moment, but is always clad in a rainbow of colors. She lives in the clouds above, shooting thunderbolts out of her mouth. Many stories of her benevolence have been told. One of which starts with a young man who found Kasogonagá on the ground, she explained that she had accidentally fallen from her cloud and needed help getting back up. The young man helped her make a bonfire, using the smoke given off to rise back into the sky. She thanked the young man, promising him and his family protection and fertile land, with the man becoming her shaman. Her most interesting myths come from her presence in relatively modern events. In the first story six Toba women were captured and sent to a concentration camp, but with the help of Kasogonagá they were able to escape. Another legend tells of how Argentinian police were sent to evict a group of indigenous Toba in a school. However when the Police went inside, Kasogonagá created a powerful lightning storm that trapped them indoors, the storm lasted long enough for the group to block the roads around the school trapping the police. With Kasogonagá’s help the Toba were able to escape the police.
Most people tend to divorce mythology from reality, like the events in fiction. But Mythology is intrinsically tied to reality, often times shifting the religious beliefs along with the flow of time. Kasogonagá greatly illustrates this as during the colonization era of Argentina, the Toba’s religious practices were demonized by the government. The violent tensions between the Toba and the Argentinian government led the Toba to greatly resist the government’s usurpation. These times were reflected into Kasogonagá, with her providing support to the discriminated Toba.

So I signed up for Studio on Saturn/Jeff Satur's costume design event. The theme he gave us was Rain God.
Entry is on my Twitter Post! If you have a Twitter please give it a look~! I also have this up on my artist IG: markmybirds.art
My brain was gunning for CLAMP (Card Captors) meets Howl Pendragon I suppose. Okay I did the thing and posted it and now I feel sick about this decision because I'm totally out of my comfort zone and I like to be in the dark shadowy background of the world. @wardog-of-the-endless am I good?

Happy birthday Michael Schumacher! He was and will be my idol forever. I will never forget how much fun he gave me in my childhood, no matter if we see him again or not. He is the rain god and the best ever. I would've loved to meet him once, but that never happened. But there are more important things now. I wish him all the best and that he can somehow enjoy at least a bit of his life.

Ope Ope Fruit Deity / Rain God
The Ope Ope fruit has been portrayed as extremely important. This and the cost of 5b berries prove some big secret and strength hide behind this fruit. The only other fruit that has been portrayed in this manner is the Nika fruit, which is a god fruit. Therefore it is probable the Ope Ope fruit is a god fruit as well. Trafalgar Law is the Rain God because he managed to awaken it. Like the other 3 god fruits it can only be awakened by someone exceptionally powerful and synced with it. Like the other 3 god fruits it has an insanely powerful awakening which is the divine part of the fruit.
Awakening allows the user to conjure awakened room bubbles and awaken his own body; it passively increases the user's energy, aura and regeneration more than the base ability. The awakened rooms can coat or be applied to the user, objects, other people and the ground or environment. They can also float on their own coating nothing but still controlling and influencing the environment. They can create a bigger system of many rooms that move and act together making chain and combo attacks or influencing and controlling the environment on a huge scale. The user can switch places with every room or teleport to it. The awakened room improves every base ability of the fruit. Applied to the body it can become a powerful armor, shield or weapon. The rooms can change the property, composition, structure and shape of anything, including themselves. They could be intangible like the normal room, become tangible and hard like metal or flexible and bouncy like gum and the Sabaody resin bubbles.
The awakened fruit seems perfect to use with tools, weapons and swords. K-Room is the ultimate sword with various kinds of powerful abilities. This god can also be called Sword God.
The awakened bubbles are very similar to the Sabaody Archipelago resin bubbles. They seem to be made of something related to that resin and can be used in the same way those bubbles were by applying them to something and making it float around. They can also make something immune to water. This fruit seems to be connected to water. The awakened user can control water and gain strength from it as well as be immune to sea energy and water. Law's surname is Water and can be read: Water Law, the law of water. This god can also be called Water and Sea God.
The awakened bubble glows and is shaped like the moon. Law's hat represents the moon while Luffy's hat the sun. The moon can alter water level and condition like the fruit. This Moon fruit seems to be in a pair with the Nika Sun fruit just like Law seems to be in a pair with Luffy like Yin-Yang. The bubbles moving around Law are like moons around a planet. This god can also be called Moon God.
Wano country is the Land Of Samurai connected to the Sword and Bushido "The Way Of Death", Law is a samurai and swordsman, has philosophies and tattoos about death, is called "Surgeon Of Death", has a fruit connected to the Sword that has an ability performed through death and can revive, heal or prevent death. Wano has a weird water level condition and ancient Wano is underwater due to rain. Wano is full of Moon symbols which is very important to the country. Sword, Death, Water, Rain and Moon, I believe the Rain God is connected to Wano.
Shock Wille and Puncture Wille are awakened versions of Injection Shot, therefore there should be awakened versions of the other techniques.
Awakened it can conjure many types of energy in many forms like shockwaves, blasts, swords, beams, bullets, rays, etc. Lightning, Radio, Gamma, Light, Fire, etc I believe can all be summoned. Many rooms may be able to create an immense chain or web of energy that flows from one to the other. Since this is the fruit of manipulation and control I believe it can also manipulate at an atomic level and alter the composition and property of everything and any element. It could be possible for the user to access nuclear energy, fusion and fission. This god can also be called Lightning, Fire, Light, Control and Energy God.
This awakened fruit can heal most illnesses or injuries, it may also be able to revive the dead. The name Surgeon Of Death may indicate this exceptional healing ability. This God can also be called Healing God.
The awakened Ope Ope fruit is the most destructive and lethal devil fruit, capable of creating insane shockwaves, pressure, vibration, tremors, gravity, explosions, energy blasts, etc. Surgeon Of Death can also be interpreted as a deadly and destructive assassin that delivers death with precision. Law's role is also being able to remove a threat permanently, that maybe can only be dealt with like this. Even the toughest creatures are vulnerable to Law's explosive and deadly abilities. Law's lethality is gonna be essential to defeat or remove permanently big threats. This god can also be called God of Destruction.
With all the connections this fruit, god and Law have to death, this god can also be called God of Death.
This god has control over the sky, wind and weather. The bubbles have been portrayed throughout the story as important and connected to sky and weather. The bubbles in Sabaody flew around just like the bubbles of the Ope Ope fruit. Through these bubbles the user has control over the state of various elements in the sky and the ability to control and generale wind. Multiple bubbles released in the sky can manipulate vast areas. The bubbles can create clouds, move the wind, create and control storms or make the sky calm and without clouds. The rooms could become light sources like stars, also by becoming balls of energy like stars. Nami's attacks are a representation of the awakened Ope Ope attacks. Nami and Law both have bubbles abilities related to weather, rain, wind and clouds. Nami uses a weapon that emits bubbles which create clouds, rain, lightning and can channel and control with that weapon the various bubbles and clouds as well as make wind attacks. Law could use his sword with K-Room to channel, control and influence his bubbles, attacks, weather and environment like Nami does with her baton. Nami can make her baton grow longer just like Law can do it with his sword. Nami means wave and she is a navigator that has to understand weather and sea movements, Law's surname is Water and he's the Sea and Sky God. Nami's been in Weatheria in which bubbles are very important. The awakened user can fly. This god can also be called Rain, Sky, Lightning, Weather, Wind and Storm God.
The name Rain God has in it the sky and water related ability of the fruit. Also, the bubbles can look like raindrops in the sky. The Rain God can be considered the strongest in Land, Sea and Air.
The awakened Ope Ope fruit is very powerful and versatile, which explains why it's called The Ultimate Devil Fruit.
