It is a very gloomy September day here in northern Germany. 🍂 So, I am spending my Saturday going through my stash in search of a yarn that I want to use for the HERBGARDEN knitwear shawl KAL. 🙌 #hgkskal2022 One option would be this gorgeous deep green yarn. It is Origin from Raincloud&Sage and the color called "moor" was a limited edition dyed by Mominoki Yarn last year. By the way, this post is not sponsored in any way. I bought the yarn myself, because I genuinely enjoy it. It is just the kind of pure, rustic merino that I will never get enough of. If the forecast is correct, today was the last really cold day of winter. By wednesday all the show and ice will be gone... So today a friend and I made the most of this wonderful and sunny day and went ice skating on the frozen lake! Yay! ❄🙌 It has been years since that was possible the last time. Someone stayed up late yesterday to leave sleeve island as soon as possible 🤣 - and with success: this project is now officially a finished object! I am having a little trouble with the sleeves of this design. There was a lot of frogging involved 🧶🐸which luckily was every easy with the Origin yarn I am using. This evening I am going to give it another try. Meanwhile I thought I'd share another picture of the yoke. I am really happy with it which is why I want the sleeves to be as good as they can be.
