some of ras’s concept art had a bit of armor similar to chima’s tigers so I took that and ran with it :P

OKAY SO! This is acc a tumblr specific post because I’m doing @nyaskitten ‘s Sketch challenge :D. What I did was I wanted to fine line the sketch how I would with most fur whilst also keeping the main sketch at least visible on the piece. Plus Ras is based frfr.

Day 4: Nautilus (Aquatic Slugcat)

Uh so i tried 😿 i took the use the base very seriously and didn’t feel like trying to change much ( except his ears, tail and some furr ) Anyways, come get Ras @nyaskitten 🙄 he’s in the greatest outfit Ik

For the first entry of the "Complete this Sketch!!!" challenge, I present to you Lord Ras!

The rules are simple: draw him in any outfit you so desire, make up an outfit if you feel like it given he only has three, make him smile if you wanna, BUT no matter what you draw, you MUST use the sketch provided to do so. If you wanna fix up details like the rough and poorly done fur, or his tail, or any potential anatomical goofs, fine by me, but you MUST stick with the pose and have the provided sketch as YOUR rough sketch!

I've even provided a transparent sketch, incase you wish to paste it into a larger canvas, or if you wish to draw rough details on top and then color without much of a hassle!

Due to the nature of this challenge, there is no such "end date," someone could stumble upon this a year later and I'd STILL love it! There's also no winners or losers here of course, this is a challenge for the sake of fun! Enjoy yourself, whether you just wanna line it or fully render it! Do whatever!

Don't forget to tag this with "Raine's Sketch Challenge," and also tag me in the post just for the sake of it! I'd also appreciate that even if you don't join, you could still maybe reblog for someone who might wanna? Idk.
