Absent-Minded 3T2 Traits Pack!

UPDATE: Re-uploading here in a sec. Interaction-Take a Bath did not have hydrophobic effects.

Part 1 of a new out-of-nowhere series, releasing trait mods in wonderfully curated selections... by Trait!

I love this trait. Why can't we have stupid and smart Sims? Where was the SIXTH personality scale?... Dumb vs. Focused? etc... Anyways.. I fleshed out this trait for you all and made compatible versions.

This mod was inspired by the Sims 3 Absent minded trait page on Sims wiki. It describes that Absent-Minded Sims in the Sims 3 will "action cancel" randomly, and "forget" what you told them to do!

I have made this mod compatible with several other trait mods - namely the showering and bath autonomy mods for the Hydrophobic trait, Slobs pee in Showers, and Brooding Sims take longer showers/baths.

I added this trait effect that I am about to tell you about.

But essentially, any trait mods to do with showering and baths, I got you covered.

Another version of this mod is compatible with PicknMix's Shared Showering, specifically the Temperature Enable. If you don't use Shared Showering, download the normal version.

THE MOD

All this mod does is gives a 10 percent chance that a Sim with the Absent minded trait will action cancel with, autonomously or otherwise, taking a bath and taking a shower. They will walk into the bathroom, idle very briefly, do a confused animation (The OFB one), and then maybe another animation such as a shrug, and then leave the room, without doing what you told them to do.

I have also added, for my own game, when a Sim goes to sleep, but I will go easy on y'all at first...

So it makes these Sims a bit more challenging to play and stays true to ts3 traits.

minor success story from 🧷!!!

so my old computer was not great. I have like 30gb cc for sims 4 which probably didn't help but it was always slow and even couldn't run certain things. I always had old computers etc to save money so I wanted to manifest a new computer but didn't think much of it. my uncle is rlly good with computers and was building one with my cousin and asked us and then set up with me and my mom to build ones for me and my brother! it got delayed and ngl it was easier because I knew it would happen anyways but I just got the computer today and it's definitely a win since I've never had anything super high tech 😦 ngl I forget most of the process and this wasn't a huuuge manifestation since a large part was just other people but ykw take it as a sign that anything can happen if u persist because there was no reason for me to randomly get a better computer. you manifesting a computer for sims also motivated me a lot btw!!! I'm moving all my CC/mods to a flash drive rn and setting it up, I'll definitely remember this for a while.

also got $25! for Easter (not religious but do fun traditions yk?) but still!!! i manifested money a bit for clothes I just haven't bought it much yet. also my mental has gotten better as well.

+ something weird happened i remembered taking my birth control (for PMDD, not pregnancy prevention) and then looked again and I hadn't taken it at all?!?! crazy stuff 😭! also napped for hours for no reason and had lots of dreams about finding adorable clothes for free that washed up on a shore. Interests & Hobbies - Update post

Hey everyone!

First things first, sorry for the wall of text!

I know quite a few of you have been wondering about this project, if not been REALLY patiently been waiting for it! That's why I figured I'd make this post.

A bit of backstory:

I have, in all honestly, been working on it for 2 years. Except, that because the mod has SO MANY features, I kept making tiny mods that then get shelved because I wanted to get back to the interests & hobbies mod. But obviously that's part of the mod and... argh! :p You can see how I got stuck in this creative loop. And I would then be happy to just quickly make something like a bus manager, or a RPG manager or a thirsty sims mod or randomly deciding to create a sims website (as you casually do clearly lol). Because that was a bit of an escape for me. Though, this morning, I was talking to someone about this and the mod's progression. How I was just completely thrown out of the creative process and that I just didn't know what I wanted to do...

Basically, out of that conversation the following question came, which was:

So, what have you finished already, then? Given that you've been working on it for so long?

So far, I've done:

Assignment of a hobby lot. Sims of that interest will also visit that lot.

Sims will pursue their hobbies inside their house/garden/lot. (i.e a sim with a gardening skill, will garden their garden.)

Your sims can have an interest and a hobby (duh).

The environment hobby currently has a working hobby challenges.

Getting interested in a field can be done through the phone or computer. (or starting on certain items of that hobby).

Your sim can get magazines of that interest/hobby. This will increase their interest each time they read it.

Learn which interest that sims knows of the other sims. Just like with traits. ;)

A way to make it so that custom content items are considered hobby items as you place them down. And therefore give your sims interest points too.

Certain conversation topics can now be considered interest related conversations.

Which... I know doesn't sound like much, but the *amount* of technical background stuff is absolutely insane :p And that took me more time debugging and error fixing than I've ever done with any of my mods!

So with that said. I want, not only apologise for taking so bloody long to get this mod out of the door, but also share what's going to happen next.

So what now?

As you can probably tell, the basics are (almost) done, as well as the basic mechanics. So, what I think I want to do is the following:

Release the mod this year, with the current features I just shared that are done, and all the other features that were in the document, I'll work on separately. I guess, they function as DLCs for the mod? Or expansions, I guess? :p

That way, I feel less stressed, and you get to give it a try! :) In the end I keep forgetting I'm only one person, and I can finally sleep at night lol

Last anon here again, thank you so much for the detailed reply! You provided a new perspective on the idea, usually Germa Sanji is used by fans as fuel for the Strawhats to be horrified and saddened by it, but I never considered the idea even his own twins who he finally "matches" now, would reject this unfamiliar figure, having finally accepted him for who he was by the end of WCI. Rejected by his found family, rejected by his biological one now too, there may be no place left in this world for the finally "perfect" Vinsmoke Sanji 😔

Hey, thanks for asking! I do sometimes feel like my thinking process is a bit different than how I see most other people see things. Maybe because of how I read the raws and/or my experience with the trope in general, but anyway, I'm glad you find it interesting!!

If you ask me I'm fully convinced that they will eventually find a way to fix the mods. Either removing it altogether, or just "editing" it to be more like Reiju's. That is, the powers remain, but Sanji's emotions will not become messed up. There's that whole drama in Egghead with a very strong emphasis on Kuma, and then sensei pulls a massive plot contrivance to keep Vegapunk alive. First the satellites, and then the "Vegapunk clone" in Lilith's luggage. Yeah, I think they can fix Sanji before anything bad happens. Especially because of all the Kamen Rider parallels/references, I believe there's a fairly good chance Sanji's next fire upgrade still uses his Germa mods.

But let's say we have a what-if scenario where "evil" Germa Sanji goes loose for some time before Vegapunk is ready.

I don't think his brothers would "reject him". They just don't like what they're seeing. Like, even before, they always say he is their brother first. It's my belief that they're rejecting his behaviour because it's different from theirs, so they keep trying to make him change. It's not really "him" as a person that they're rejecting. If they turn around and dislike his Germa mode, and they want him to change the other direction, it's not really that different.

The issue is that brothers probably just didn't know what was it that happened and what makes Sanji different. If/when they figure out what was happening, they could just grab Sanji and drag him to the Germa labs and tell the science guys to do something. The main scientist who did the mod operation is still there with them.

Also, since you mentioned the angst/drama with the crew. These are my thoughts of what Germa Sanji is like. It's long again, so you don't really have to read it since it's a bit irrelevant to the question LOL.

So, I personally don't think even with all his mods activated Sanji would just randomly turn sadistic and likes to torture/harm people for no reason.

Sanji's opinion of his brothers being "heartless monsters" is not objective for obvious reasons, and I think his fears in Onigashima is somewhat exaggerated (assuming that it's not just Oda-sensei himself completely forgetting how his own characters work).

Like, as I mentioned it's rather unclear what is the extent of the emotions that are blocked off. I would personally argue "love" is not gone. At the very least, the block still allows for some form of affection to remain.

Niji and Yonji were concerned for Judge, Niji was worried for Reiju. All of them came back to save Sanji when nobody asked, and this was not part of any deal they struck. Ichiji went to save Niji and Yonji after the whole mess. Again, whether it's because Sora's medicine was actually working or because of something else, they're not some kind of soulless murder machines.

So even with fully activated mods I think Sanji would still care for his loved ones and not go on a crazy rampage if there's nothing happening. It's just that he'd probably turn horrible when he does get angry.

I would imagine that at first the crew don't particularly notice anything was wrong. In Sanji's first appearance, he beat up the Marine officer all bloody. When Sanji first said "death penalty" to S-Shark, Robin was right there saying something to the effect of "I completely agree". Zoro threatens to kill people all the time.

It only then becomes concerning if Sanji actually follows through and literally kills someone for real. And then the one who would be the most horrified is Sanji himself.

In my little comic I purposely went for a rather extreme case for dramatic effect. Like, I imagine the context of it was that some enemy threatened Nami or someone else from the Straw Hats and Sanji got so angry about it that he was gonna obliterate an entire building/ship for it, civilians be damned.

5. How did you choose their name and why? Was it simply based on vibes or is there any specific meaning behind the name? Are the reasons behind their name different in- and out of universe?

I randomly generated it, tbh. It was the first time I did that without researching first, as I love names with heavy meanings. I needed a name, and I needed it quick (it took 3 days to install the game, so I was rather impatient). I think the name Marzio being "war-like/warring" is rather fitting though. Inner war of the self. Bhaalspawn tendencies to kill. His pure hatred of Ketheric, to him, feels like a battle for the most "warlike". There's also the meaning "dedicated to Mars", and Mars's color is blood red. Blood red fits both the blood of Bhaal and the blood of Ilmater, two gods he was raised by and worshiped. He wears a lot of red for being a big, blue boy. Personally, I also associate the letter M with blue (most of the time). Marzio is a very blue name, so he's very blue. I don't know how he got the name in game. He did name himself, since he was technically born with the name "The Dark Urge". So, either Gortash suggested it before his amnesia, or one of the companions started calling him that after deciding "The Dark Urge" was too dramatic and long, and Durge didn't have a good ring to it. Haven't decided yet. Oh! And I can't forget the nicknames: Marz, Marz Bars & Marzy

17. Are there any motifs or symbols associated with the character? How are they represented, in their design, personality or in some other way?

Oh, boy. Here we go!

Marzio's current design motif is "the graveyard" as a concept (inspired a little by the Graveyard Mod in Minecraft).

His horns are bones, his flesh resembles a corpse, his hair is white influenced by the "scared to death" eeriness factor, and he scars blue to resemble a lack of blood flow. The blue steaks in his hair are supposed to symbolize the "dead flesh brought back to life" through Bhaal's magic. Oh, and also just blue in general from soul flames & magic & such.

His tail is a reference to bone devils. In his Slayer form, it's even more prominent:

Bone devil tail, skeletal face, ribcage on full display. Over all, he's just a big, big skeleton Bhaalspawn. Skeleton motif, corpse symbolism.

He's even got bone tattoos on his left shoulder and both hips:

Bonus: in a cyberpunk au i'm making, he's got cybernetics that open like the bones in the arm!

There's just something so mesmerizing about them. You look at this man, and you're looking into his eyes first. Either that or his butt length white & blue hair .

He is missing his right eye, torn out by Orin when she tried to kill him. Personally, the glass eye symbolizes his battle for morality—to keep fighting his nature as a Bhaalspawn. It's removed when he's no longer fighting. In alternate evil endings, he alters the glass eye to have a black sclera, going back to his full Bhaal's Chosen look before his amnesia. So yea... his eyes are probably my favorite part!

if i knew how to code I'd make chronic illness simulator mod for stardew valley. my intended features:

max stamina is slightly randomized every day, with a downwards trend on average

your unspecified disorder progresses over time, making you able to do less and less every day until you're nearly bedridden. the only things that seem to make it better are literal magic, like stardrops

more actions now take stamina, including walking, talking to people, most cutscenes and heart events, petting animals, basically everything you need to do in this game

horseback riding takes less stamina but still decreases it. the only form of transit that doesn't eat stamina are warp totems, the desert bus, and the minecarts

you randomly take damage while using your tools, or just for no clear reason sometimes

you can get mobility aids eventually, but they cost a ton and some (like canes and rollators) take up a slot in your inventory while others (like wheelchairs) behave the same as horses. you also can't do things like mining while you're in a wheelchair, at least not without a lot of inconvenience

you can restore stamina or even increase your max stamina with cooked meals, but the act of cooking now costs stamina in and of itself, sometimes more stamina than the final dish restores anyway. also, your house doesn't start with a kitchen, severely limiting the amount you can cook in the early game anyway, and with the limited amount of things you can do it's going to take a long time to accumulate the resources for an upgrade

produce also goes bad now, so you can't just stockpile a zillion cave carrots and peppers or whatever. you can stock up on things like joja cola though, which never go bad (because you drink the entire can at once as soon as you open it) but if you don't eat actual food your stamina decreases faster

you have to see Harvey at least once a season, which wipes out your entire stamina bar for that day and you have to pay him a steep fee for your medications. he's never able to diagnose your condition but sometimes he tells you to lose weight and sometimes he tells you to stop overworking yourself, seemingly at random

fuck it, you have to remember to take your meds on your own too. if you forget a dose then you have half stamina the next day. if you forget too many doses in a row you pass out upon waking up and have to see Harvey, which has the same effect as the monthly doctors visits

you never die, but if you play for enough years, eventually your stamina won't allow for anything more than getting out of bed or else you'll pass out and skip to the next day, effectively softlocking your playthrough forever

setting a global/"default" project layout for WolvenKit

There might be another way to do this but I'm always peeved about WKit randomly forgetting my preferred project layout so I did a little searching on the modding server then did the good ol' "fuck around and find out".

So here's how to make sure WolvenKit always loads a new project with the layout how you want it to be:

Navigate in explorer to a project that has your desired layout. Find the layout.xml file in it.

Go to the AppData folder (Win+R)

Go to the REDModding folder. You're looking for AppData\Roaming\REDModding\WolvenKit

The file we are interested in is DockStates.xml

Simply delete the DockStates.xml file present there, copy/paste your layout.xml file from the project into the WolvenKit folder, and rename it to DockStates.

WKit should now load with your preferred layout by default when you create a new project!

s.t.a.l.k.e.r anomaly mod is pretty fun with that "your own unique adventure" aspect, especially when you can play as any faction. it was an experience when i played it some time ago lol

first i played for a bit as beginner friendly neutral loner stalker to get used to the mod. and the playthrough is like... here's the rookie village with a guy who'll give u a nice tutorial! here's bunch of easy quests to do nearby for money and reputation! cheers bro, have fun.

meanwhile my freedom guy playthrough: alright idiot, deliver this package for me. then i see that the destination is miles away. another quest? save our spy in fuck knows where (red forest, also miles away). another guy is like yo can u get me 2 cans of tuna? how reasonable and normal! but i don't fucking know where to get tuna!! eventually i randomly found 1 can. then i enter rostok and completely forget that it's controlled by duty aka the faction that wants me dead. but too late now, i'm commited to being stupid so i fight them. at one point i meet a friendly group of neutral stalkers sitting at a campfire, and then a single duty guy runs up to me just to smack me in the face and run away lol (what the hell). afterwards... the hell continues and i barely escape a wandering duty squad, to finally get the hell OUT of rostok

however going thru hell that is the duty controlled area was worth it in the end, bc i reached a bar in the middle and bought the other can of tuna. that one guy better be very thankful for the canned tuna i brought him

Hey guys did you know im clinically insane and have multiple OMORI AUs not just swingset? Yapping below! (Spoilers for canon game sometimes i guess)

Swingset AU / SSAU / TRTT (two ropes tied together)(fic name abbreviation) wasn't even the first au I've made.

The first one i really created was ODS (Omori didn't succumb) but the original concept of that whole au is completely different to what it ended up. Originally it was Sunny surviving the bad ending but I changed it to him just remaining as a ghost that can sorta turn physical at will. No I will not make a fic of this.

The next au i can remember making (after swingset) was Kanpekikel (which i completely forgot existed until a few days ago) which is just your average hikikel au with a side of horrible parenting and lots of Kel angst. No, again, I will not write anything of this. I'm pretty sure Kanpekikel was a really early version of Daburumori without the whole double isolation for the kiddos thing.

Like a few days after i got the general idea of Wasurerumori which basically. Everyone forgets Mari and Sunny ever existed and Sunny has to navigate his new reality of "whoops guess nothing ever happened then! My friends don't know me" - again nothing planned to be written

I don't know when but i had a conversation with my friend which led to RWmori being created. Rain world/Omori au where everyone is a slugcat (but anthro. Clothes and stuff!) and deals with the Omori plot with bonus spice (Sunny is Hunter from rain world, a character that literally is terminally ill. Whoops. Sorry Sunter (the name)). I don't plan to write a fic of this one BUT I did start an animatic of it. Might finish it. We'll see.

Daburumori is my second most fleshed out au. I have some (outdated) reference sheets for the main gang (+headspace vers for Kel and Sunny) just check out the tag i guess. I will probably not write anything of it as the plot isn't really cohesive. Might make little comics though!

The next au(?) is basically more of a fic idea. I called it Fire And Ice and i might write it alongside swingset but without the usual once per week updates. It's basically just suntan with some royalty, magic and transgendering. You know me, i love suntan!

I promise not all of these aus are suntan. I PROMISE. (I might be in denial) (Sorry i love suntan sorry sorry AugghhHHHHH)

The last au i have is sporemori which is a big mess of media i like. Infections, mushrooms that really like growing in your bodies, elements from the ghibli movie 'Nausicaa and the valley of the wind' (I don't remember the name please don't attack me) and a whole lot of body horror! I've actually drawn sunny for this au but since i haven't finished anyone else's designs i won't post it unless i randomly get possessed and finish them all. I MIGHT write something for it. No promises. I tried to write something but it got a bit too messy 2k words in (and it was just like. Before the plot?)

Edit! I somehow forgot the existence of headspaced au. It's not that big of an au and it'd work more as a mod. But i cannot mod. Which is why i refuse to associate myself with this au because it's hell on earth to try to explain the lore. /Hj

Hello Simmers! Do you play the Sims 2? Do you play with 3t2 traits by the legend Hexagonal Bipyramid themselves?

Good news!

I have been steadily working on learning how to modify BHAVS and it has resulted in several edits of Sims 3t2 trait mods and some of my own trait mods! They’re still in testing while I play through one of my hoods.

However, I’d like to share some of the mods/edits I have made that do seem function well in the game, and also ask for help/thoughts on where I fall short. I’d love to hear your thoughts on what you want to see in trait mods for the future.

—Cowards no longer autonomously stomp on roach infestations. Considering making two versions: one where Cowards don’t have the pie menu option at all, or where they still have the option but can’t do it autonomously.

—Edit of “MeanInteractionsToAnyAge” by Hexagonal Bipyramid plus compatibility with “fightwhilepregnant” by kestrellyn at MTS. Evil Sims always have the pie menu option to insult, attack, etc. regardless of fury or relationship level. Mean-Spirited have the same thing, except the option to always attack. Insane Sims I managed to add a 3% chance that they will randomly attack someone, given they are grouchy enough. Hotheads will autonomously argue if they’re furious. Other tiny tweaks. It tends to throw occasional errors because I believe it is conflicting with either Simler’s Fight Mod (which I am testing a patch for right now) or ShadowEFX’s Deadlier Werewolves.

—Adventurous, Eccentric, Gatherer, Genius, and Frugal Sims will autonomously dig for treasure if they’re bored plus they have creativity skill.

—Dramatic Sims can potentially “Fake Pass Out”, directly from the Sims 3, only problem I have is getting the emitter-energy failure to function properly.

—Absent-minded Sims have a chance of their actions dropping from their queue, simulating Sims 3’s feature where these Sims would walk into rooms and forget why they went in there.

—I have barely started an attempt to let technophobes sabotage electronics but it’s not at the top of my list.

3 hours into update 2.0.0....

I love it xD But also, I'm a little bit overwhelmed, but UUUURGGGHHH there are some real gems in there already 😩

So, I didn't start a new playthrough for time reasons and went right in with my post-ending save. There was some initial fuckery with my wardrobe outfits that seems fixed now though after unequipping everything and remaking the outfits xD Custom tattoo and scar mods work just fine though and I might test these next few days what other mods do :D I'm really happy about the tattoos though at least :3

Some Bugs

Also, someone desperately needs to send the NCPD some funds cause....

That vehicle doesn't look like it should be allowed in traffic (this happened twice, and I was cackling xDD honestly just a really funny little bug that's probably gonna get fixed somewhere down the line xD)

But yes... Man the new skills and perks and cyberware and EVERYTHING is so fucking cool, but also so fucking overwhelming when you're already level 42+ and have everything at your disposal all at once xD But I was so excited to see all the different new Kiroshi options and how cyberware is tied to skills like... damn. And the strongest quickhacks really need a fuckton of RAM... as they should. And I still need a fuckton of practise in terms of using them, but I'm really excited to get the hang of it all somewhere down the line :D

When I read this in the patch notes, I was so fucking excited xD Hell yeah, a good reason to go to the apartment apart from sorting through my inventory xD Some more Johnny interactions!

AND. A DREAM COME TRUE WITH ONE OF THE DIALOGUES!!!

I was always a bit sad that Johnny had no comments whatsoever on V's relationship with Kerry, when he did with some of the other LIs, so this already made my evening xDD and one of the big perks of jumping in with my post-ending save to already get to see and hear this now :DDD Not gonna spoil what he says but... yes XDD It fits, I figured. And I hope the other LIs get something similar because it's glorious xD

Vehicles and Radio

In regards to vehicle handling... I can definitely feel a difference with my go-to bike! Like, it still has its weaknesses, but also feels a lot more stable in other regards, less flimsy and "heavier" like they described it in the patch notes. I love it a lot. I didn't try vehicle combat yet, although I did get randomly attacked in the badlands by some NPCs once, which was very fun XD I almost had a heart-attack, but it did feel like something that could happen. Sadly didn't manage to get my revenge in time, but next time!!

I like the new radio stations, but didn't hear every song yet... but also, and I think some others already said that, they don't really add much new in terms of sound and genres. Nothing that isn't already there in some shape or form. But still nice to have something new to add to the rotation.

Leveldesign

And as I was driving around, I randomly stumbled right into Dogtown :DDD well, not quite but, damn, that was an impressive moment:

The faction of the guards was labelled as "Test" though xDD Close but, not quite... Figure that's also a little bug though.

Overall... I fucking love how they integrated it into Pacifica o.o It's insanely impressive, huge and rundown and maaaaaan.... I cannot wait to explore behind the walls!!

Also, random little thing... I feel like the clouds looked nicer? But that could be me not paying much attention/ rain being rare-ish in Night City.

Not Dogtown but North Oak, obviously. But... idk o.o The light shining through like that looked so fucking cool and realistic, but I really dont know if maybe this wasn't already part of the Pathtracing update and I just never noticed it like this before XD

And lastly... I discovered whose nooks they added to the Columbarium. Right in the feels.

Cannot wait to discover more little details as I go but URGH yeah. The tiny little Kerry convo already made it worth it for me XDD And Viktor <3 And the Autofixer shop is so cool! And aaahhh I cannot wait to see what's gonna come with PL :333
