Wrap your books! Seriously, get wrapping paper and wrap all of your books. That way, when you pick up a book to read it will feel like a little present to yourself.

But wait! Want to feel the satisfaction of ripping open wrapping paper again like a monkey trying to get at a banana???

Well TOO BAD. You have to finish the unwrapped book first.

Can any other adhd babes tell me any hacks they may have for reading? I’m at college this year and can’t use audiobooks, I have to use the actual hardbacks so I can reference pages. I find it really hard to focus on not get distracted even when I’m very interested in the book in front of me. I’ve found if I read aloud in different voices that helps a little however it is time consuming. I’m suddenly under a mountain of books and do not feel clever enough for this. If anyone can help it’s much appreciated ❤️
