Remembering when BioWare was doing PR for DAI (which at the time was close to release) and they had a picture of the whole gang standing in front of a table and someone pointed out the placement of each character closely mirrored that of Michaelangelo’s Last Supper with Solas in the position of Judas and all I can think of is readwithcindy taking the piss out of one of the ACOTAR books for having heavy handed symbolism like:

“See Solas is in the position of Judas because it’s like A Foreshadowing and symbolism that he’s like Judas. The inquisitor is like Jesus in this way (very holy) which means that solas is going to betray them at some point. Because of the foreshadowing and the fact that he’s standing where Judas would be.”

I cannot overstate how much I LOVED XO, Kitty. I wasn't even going to watch it because I was kinda afraid it wasn't going to be that good, but then I got the notification for ReadWithCindy's reaction and the thumbnail and some of the comments singlehandedly convinced me to watch it because of the canonical sapphicness and Holy. Fuck. I had so much fun watching it. Like I literally went "mmmmm nah" the first day I saw it as the header for Netflix and yet all that time it held the perfectest bi teenage girl rep for me like !!! I'm now obsessed. So if you even liked the movies in the slightest and are queer go watch it, even if you AREN'T queer go watch it because it was so much better than I could have expected. Also bi girlies please please go watch it

watched readwithcindys recent video and normally I can enjoy her videos as entertainment without having to agree with her but the way she talked abt Giovannis Room pissed me off sm I had to turn off the video...

I... I found a video from readwithcindy called "unboxing soap gate" (2018) and I've never been so dissapointed in the acotar fandom. I didn't know about the acotar sup box that happened in 2018 and apperantly there was this whole mess about the dick soap (it represents Rhys's dick 💀💀). Strangly, I'm more pissed about the fanfics and letters because it was being sold, which means someone got all the money of it. Also.. In that video cindy read a letter that is "from Azriel" to the acotar stan who bought that box and I cringed so hard. "I will fuck you soon- Azriel" BROOO 💀💀💀

Everyone can have fun and stuff and I know I shouldn't judge but.. cmon. Go to twitter and write "acotar soap dick" you'll see acotar stans warning others to not use the soap dick for your own pleasure, only to use it for bathing 😂

I have heard bits about soap dick gate. I think one of the big issues with the soap was the fact ACOTAR was marketed as YA at the time. And they sent out a dick in a box. Also, the soap had a SUCTION CUP on the end. However, the box's creator did flag the box as only suitable for those over 18 and stated that the book itself is marketed for YA despite the sex scenes. A lot of authors were not happy with fan fiction being sold in the box as it's illegal.

I think this is why SJM/Bloomsbury ensure that anybody making money off of her creation has to be officially licensed.

I have watched 2/3 of Cindy's videos where she reviews acotar and I find them so funny.
