Now I can finally reveal what I've been up to for these last months...
I'M MOVING TO JAPAN ✨ Osaka, to be more precise (hi Majima)!
I'm going there now on June 26 to study and improve my japanese so I can make my comics and doujinshis in JP too!
I'm gonna stay there for at least 2 years but my plan is to stay there for more time or even permanently... Let's see what the future will hold! Like a lot of us, I always had a lot of admiration for japanese culture, art and language, and visiting Japan has been one of my biggest dreams since I was little and I can't believe it's becoming real 🥺💕 (living in a 3rd world country is almost impossible to travel abroad lol)
Since I have to be there in one month and I'm moving to a whole different country, you can already imagine how busy I am setting everything up (visa, flight tickets, renting apartment, taking online tests for my classes, medical appointments, etc etc etc) xD I can't tell yet how my art making process and posting schedule will be affected during the month of June but I'll do my best to keep working on 80s Goromi doujinshi during this time because it's very important to me 😤
Also, in the future, if you notice that I'm suddendly reposting my old Yakuza comics in JP somewhere like Twitter or Pixiv that means I'm already making sweet progress in my studies dsgjkdfhfkd

did you know. did you know there's a sample used in "the p.atrick star show" episode 3 "lost in couch" that is the same one used in
the opening titles for the game "g.regory horror show: soul collector" on the PS2, released only in japan and europe.
it's called "mystic insight" by notable composer dick debenedictis, recorded sometime in the mid '90s for the oft-mined "symphonic adventures production elements toolkit", which also includes "manhattan chase A", a string-heavy piece utilised in many soundtracks, including by stewart copeland for the level "gulp's overlook" in "spyro 2: ript-

literally 3 days ago I talked with my mom ab how good the Deadpool movies were because they were an independent story. then I watched the new one and got slapped in the face with more multiverse nonsense
the movies were so good bc how it was ab him and his love for Vanessa. How they were so deeply in love that even his mistakes and actions wouldn't stop them from being together. she literally tethered him to the world bro. and now she thinks he should do more?? like huh?? it would make sense if he wanted to go back to helping people like he did in the first movie and he expressed how he missed his mercenary life, but there is no way that I believe they would just break up. it just seems so straw-graspy to me. In no other movie did deadpool express wanting to "matter". Like I know it was bc of Vanessa in this but it feels so flimsy.
like they used Vanessa as a plot point. she wasn't even a character in it! she maybe said 3 things. you're telling me that the same Vanessa that was with Wade thru everything and willing to help and live with him through his cancer wants him to save the world and its apparently a deal breaker?? Nahhhhh

Boggart
Because at 14, everything feels so long and permanent. Especially when the future is uncertain.
Honestly this was inspired by this post asking about your MC's boggart. I always figure that my MC's would fall into a more similar vein like Hermione where her boggart represents more of a symbol/idea.
When read up on reddit on Hermione's boggart was Professor McGonagall, someone pointed out saying that it's more of a symbolic thing when you look into it under a deeper light. With Professor McGonagall saying she failed all her classes, Hermione could get expelled from Hogwarts and get her wand snap. Essentially denying her from the wizarding world.
Since Hermione -a muggleborn witch- wants to belong in the wizarding world (when the muggle world rejected her), she is trying to prove that she deserve to belong in the wizarding world through her grades and by being at the top of her class. Hermione failing her classes could risk her getting kicked out and getting her wand snap. The McGonagall boggart failing her is symbolic of her true fear - belonging no where.
While Hermione a girl trying to belong somewhere and doesn't want to be kicked out, Iñaki is a girl who's afraid that she'll never go back home.
What's a more permanent way of saying you aren't returning to your home country by getting a passport (symbolizing that you got naturalized) of your adopted country?

it's like I'm still in the tutorial level of my life. but in such a way that I can't complete it so I'm stuck in an unsatisfying loop of trying again and again. like you should have a career by 30 right? I have the same job I had at 19. in terms of career, I haven't moved forward at all. it's always like nothing gets worse but nothing gets better either.
