i'm still really surprised that it's not a more popular headcanon/theory for Niall to have sexually abused Declan, esp from before greywaren came out with all its background details and flashback retcons

i mean, really, honestly:

unstable home life, emotional disconnect from parents, little trust in authority figures, serious communication boundary with siblings, inability to form stable reciprocal relationships with partners, constantly courting attention from parental figures outside the home, far more mature than his years, aggressively self-sufficient and unwilling to rely on anyone else for help or support, clothes as armor and shield

even just for one kid, esp the eldest, to have SUCH a starkly different view and opinion of his father than the other kids

for even his siblings to be noticeably uncomfortable with how different his dynamic and treatment within the family was? even Matthew recognizes that Declan was treated differently, and he and Ronan were both like "yikes.......so anyway......." and just opted to not look at that too closely, because it challenged their rosy view of their loving doting father

Declan's childhood is FULL of scary traumatizing secrets that his father forced him to keep even from his brothers, that his mother knew about but did nothing to stop, that he doesn't know how to communicate to anyone in a way that makes them understand he wasn't complicit in or responsible for any of it (partly because he feels complicit in it)

the parallel is honestly so strong, i can't believe there are no fics that really explore this interpretation

So since you studied medicine do you know how draw people anatomically correct? That’s always my issues (I made the legs to long or torso to short, etc), so is there any advice you can give?

Oh gosh I am no artist at all in the slightest my dear lovely, I have very little talent and should not be giving advice on such matters lol. The only thing I can say is that I use myself as a reference a lot when I do scribble once in a blue moon, and that helps with anatomy, but I've only drawn people like... three times? Maybe?

I deep-dive on blogs 😅. I save posts as drafts that I tag later for queue, shuffle the queue to randomize the post order, and then organize individual posts to make sure there will not be two posts by the same person in one day.

I was thrilled to find someone posting about dndads in 2019! And you tag things! I was able to find other posts from 2019 from your dndads tag, which makes posting-finding so much easier and I feel more legitimate with a proper span of years.

However, if you want any posts removed, or you would rather I didn't reblog from you in general, then I will oblige. This blog isn't meant to be a thorn in anyone's side and I don't aim to rb the deeply personal posts from anyone.

Hello, Love your work! I've long believed that the realm of transport and logistics in the Star Trek universe is a potential treasure trove of content often ignored. PIC S1 almost bucked the trend with the La Sirena "trailer hitch" and the Sampson/Wallenberg Class alluding to #spacetrains. Are you aware of any Fanart or Fiction exploring #spacecontainers #spacetrains?

I love when people enjoy specific aspects of the worldbuilding in Trek! There is so much to dive into, and logistics and transportation is definitely a big area that holds a tonne of potential!

Off the top of my head, though, I can't think of any art or fic relating to spacetrains specifically, not in a Trek context. There's a tiny bit of concept art which you may have seen before, of La Sirena delivering cargo before picking up Picard, which was ultimately dropped from season 1:

But I don't recall ever seeing anything more detailed. As for the Wallenberg, the only things I have there are the Eagle Moss booklet cover and very grainy footage from just before the Attack on Mars.

So, I'm throwing this one to the wider tumblr Trekkie community! Does anyone know of any art including Trek-trains? Particularly space trains? Or stories that deal with cargo and towing cargo in particular?

Seven having to figure out the byzantine controls of Sirena's hitch system to take on some particularly heavy cargo? How the previous owner was recruited to aid the Romulan Rescue effort and that's why the hitch was added to the ship? Maybe some exciting spacetrain-heists?

Because I'd definitely love to see/read those myself 😁
