Okay, so even though I would’ve loved if chenford was back together this ep, it makes sense that they were doing the fake dating thing.

It’d be weird if they were revealed to be back together RIGHT AFTER Lucy was like “i haven’t fully forgiven you yet, but when I do you can help me study”, only for the next episode to have them be a couple again. It just wouldn’t feel earned.

Is it frustrating that they aren’t back together yet? Yeah, but like there are valid reasons as to why they aren’t and why they’re doing what they’re doing.

Tbh my feelings on the sunkissed breakup would be very different if the first instance of a betrayal/doing things behind each others back/not taking each other seriously started with the whole giving Bacon hearts thingy, but it didn't, the trust hasn't been totally there for a longer time than that

I know the person who made the questionable post. I reached out to them and explained some stuff about why it wasn't a good post to make. They were receptive and understood where they went wrong when I explained which is good.

I'm happy to hear that. I've heard & seen so many times within this fandom where this hasn't been the case. I hope they reflect further and continue down a better path :) and I hope more people do this in the future as well.

Julius's part of the church is pretty much in perfectly pristine condition. Bro is literally living in luxury while the rest of the Saints chill out in tetanus waiting to happen.

I think it's an interesting way to highlight the difference between the Playa and Julius, even if unintentional - while the SR2 main crib / Purgatory starts off like trash, it doesn't remain that way. By the end of the game, you have a clean, rebuilt base of operations. In comparison, the church always stays run-down regardless of how many gangs you take out.

And yeah, maybe the devs didn't think about having the church change over time. I could just be completely wrong about it all. Even if that's the case, it's fun to think about how this game could potentially be connected to SR2.

Current living conditions, on the other hand, leave a bit more to be desired.

Sure, a little elbow grease would probably go a long way, but stretched out over four factory floors of filth and grime — that sounds like a lot of work.

For the time being, cleaning up one of the bathrooms will have to suffice. And this office sooner or later, too.

Me trying to sleep at 3am:

My brain ignoring me trying to sleep: as per canon, Rai can’t return to the Heian period at the end despite his attempts and is forced to accept his new (old) life. Eventually he goes to college, for either history or literature—but he probably takes advantage of the research department’s Heian resources to try to find out what happened to all the people he knew, and somewhere along the way he stumbles on the statistics for mother/infant mortality rates during that time. He doesn’t show up for class for a week.
