They’re mostly the same personality wise, Tanner is less sneaky than Felix and a bit less hinged, Fractal is less reserved than Locus but still “the quiet one”, Jason is more divorced than Wu. (still heterosexual 😔)

actual designs are based on gold colors, also some math concepts. Fractal was named off of the idea that fractals are infinitely introspecting, it has a similar vibe to locus of control, though fractal kind of embraces the idea you can’t control anything, just account for patterns. He’s into worms and philosophy. I haven’t decided if he took his own eye out or if something happened to him.

Tanner is named after tangents, I was specifically thinking about this example I saw about how tangents are used to calculate how far to building an awning to keep the sun from hitting the windows behind it. I also wanted to lean more into the cop thing/knight facade Felix has. He’s less of a knife guy.

Arc is just connecting two points (aka the other two morons). Only realized after writing this that Jason is one letter off of Mason. Its to reference Jason and the argonauts not just random. I imagine him being even more sappy than Wu, he has some lofty ideas of being able to be normal if he just gets far enough making money doing merc stuff. Visually based on fencers and diving suits, I think he tends to be their stealth guy, sort of a “get in from an angle they don’t expect” thing.

I've seen it treated as fact adjacent (whateverthefxck that is) that the Alone Together segment of the MAGP022 statement was JMJ crying out for help, but is it really JMJ in the computer screaming in existential agony behind the guise of a statement, or is it JMJ screaming in 1924 when the experiment mentioned in the statement occurred? was it even JMJ at all?

I'll try my best to explain, but it's a bit chaotic in my brain too:

we know very little about wtf is going on in the TMAGP universe so far (or I'm missing crucial details left and right, lol). even the assumption that Chester, Norris and Augustus are Jonathan, Martin and Jonah trapped inside Windows 95 is just that, we don't have anything near a definitive answer yet.

so I'd like to bring up the possibility that while they very well could be stuck in the computer, they might not have immediately landed there once arriving in the TMAGP universe. all we can guess is that JMJ got to this universe when they severed their connection to the TMA universe in MAG200 and wound up (hehe) in the cassette tapes, but that doesn't guarantee that they landed in modern times at all, and they could've been actually stuck in "Herr Schmidt's" brain in history times.

TMAGP already explores and calls attention to the idea that data can come from basically anywhere with every single statement, so would it be such a far fetched assumption that data could've arrived much earlier than the dawn of modern technology, hopping between storages (including a brain and telegraphs) until they could finally navigate much more freely in an interconnected world? if this is the case, would this also mean that The Entities arrived as data too and that's the in-universe reason as to why the statements are much more relevant and technology oriented/sourced?

I need input on this, guys, this has been rattling around in my brain for at least a week now and I feel like I'm losing it, I need other perspectives to make a sense of this mess. tell me if this sounds plausible, if it sounds stupid (well maybe don't word it that way, cuz I'll bite you), what evidence could support this theory, what disproves it...

or just point me to another person who already has this theory if they exist, I'd be happy with any outcome as long as it makes a bit more sense than when I wrote this, lol

Who built this in the same spreadsheet as whose first post, “blanket” (m=2, m=4). Blanket appeared woven because its 1, 1, 1 initial conditions approximated stitches of fabric. The initial conditions of 1, 2, 1 along the minor diagonal give this render its gelatinous texture.

Who did the colors with Highlight Cells Rules instead of Color Scales so the page refresh runs in under 500 ms now - Excel no longer threatens to crash on whom.

Hey heres a question to Tribe Nine fans, what does beating the red series bosses actually do? I finally beat one of them now they moved to the central shaft but i seemingky got nothing? Are they just there so they are still fightable now they arent in the main fractsl zome, is it some kinda secret unlock, is it just xp or is it literally just bragging rights?
