Q. How did you feel when you got the role?

👒: I was mostly indifferent, as the work (the manga) itself was unknown to me back then. In retrospect, I think it was for the best. I mean, if you know it's a deeply beloved work, you'd feel greedy, won't you? That's why I passed the audition without feeling nervous. Looking back now, maybe it matched Luffy's freedom.

🌷: I remember vividly. Among the eleven rookies with more than 100 million bounty, Kidd's was the highest. I had a clear image of the voice that would express Kidd's powerful appearance, but I couldn't imagine myself playing the role of Kidd. So, I didn't know how to do the voice. I kept thinking about it while recording. I still have a hard time doing Kidd's voice, but it was even harder back then than it is now.

Q. Did you have any specific thoughts or feelings while playing in One Piece?

👒: In One Piece, there is the unshakable pillar called 'Eiichiro Oda' , but it's not enough to rely on him. I want people to think, "Wow, One Piece really is amazing" when - including myself, all the individual creators' imagination, music, scenarios, and everything else come together! We'd like to continue to create moments in anime that surpass the original manga.

🌷: Many One piece fans would say it's "fire" when expressing their opinions. Thinking about what makes them feel fired up, I can clearly see it in the scripts. The lines of a good scene are spread over several cuts. I feel that the timing; or rather, the process of speech delivery is given a high importance. So, in pursuit of an impact on the audience, when the scripts says "haah?" I myself try to stretch it with "HA~aah??" - to make everyone feel even more fired up.

[T/N: The Japanese word used was "hot", while "fire" expresses a different type of feeling, I think it works as a closer substitute.]

Q. Impression of the character you're currently playing?

👒: Someone who accepts his weakness, says "I can't" when he can't do something and then relies on his friends, and never wavers from the freedom of doing so.

🌷: He's surprisingly kind and considerate of his crew mates. He'd often say "Let's go!" and bring along some of them, but that's not because he's afraid. I interpret it as saying, "I'll protect y'all no matter what, so let's enjoy the thrill of going ahead together!"

Q. Thoughts on Mayumi Tanaka's Luffy?

🌷: Unwavering...isn't he? The story moves on, but the same old Luffy is always there. Regardless of the state you're in while watching anime, you can always relax and enjoy One piece. I think this is where Mayumi san's Luffy comes off as an undisputed champion. It's quite difficult to keep things the same for decades, so I have deep respect for it.

Q. Thoughts on Daisuke Namikawa's Kidd and Hiroshi Kamiya's Law?

👒: Some voice actors separate their personal lives from work, but those two are as transparent as I am! It doesn't have to do with their roles, but that makes it comfortable to work with them, so I enjoy it a lot.

🌷: Law looks cool, but he has his passionate sides; he has the calm aura, but he also becomes emotional. You need to incorporate a variety of elements to express those subtle ups and down in a Law-like manner, so I think it's an incredibly difficult role. That's why I think Kamiya kun puts a lot of thoughts and efforts in his performance.

That said, I can't help but feel a storm of jealousy regarding their rankings in the worldwide popularity poll (laughs). Law was in top 5, and Kid was 23rd. Even though they don't have the same screentime frequency, they were introduced at the same time, yet the difference was so big... Like, I understand Law's charm, but it was frustrating!

Q. Do you think it's possible to win against Kaidou?

👒: Of course, it's possible. But the absolute winner has to be Tesshô Genda (Kaido's voice actor). I don't think I can compete with that deep voice.. Well, I'd win though (laughs)

🌷: I want to believe that Kidd wouldn't lose his heart over his defeats. He doesn't intend to be beaten by anyone.

(T/N: Fun fact, Mayumi Tanaka doesn't read the manga. She only learns the manga's events when she reads her script. Sanji's actor Hiroaki Hirata does the same, and he admitted that he doesn't know much of the parts of story where sanji is absent.)

“Because I am proud of you.” Connor finishes before finally, finally removing his foot. The sound that tears its way free of Gavin’s throat is nothing short of feral. That makes Gavin laugh. 

“Aftercare? What did Kamski make you read 50 Shades Of Grey?”

Connor took a minute to respond as he was probably googling what 50 shades of grey was, Gavin used the time to begin to locate his clothes. Oh, well after he got the feeling in his legs back. 

“No, I don't believe 50 shades of grey does a good enough job of describing BDSM elements and relationships as a whole. Nor does it show healthy examples of consent. While there are ‘contracts and labels’ in common, you are free to leave at any point. I would even give you your money back if you wanted. If you’re not enjoying something, I would expect you to tell me, and the same applies to me.” 

Gavin turns around and looks at Connor. Really looks at him. For a long fucking time. 

“Who the phck are you?”  

Connor smirks.  

“Detective Reed, My name is Connor, I’m an RK800 android prototype attempting to pass for human. How am I doing?”

“Frighteningly well.”

“I’ll take that as a compliment. Perhaps I can I get you that coffee now?”

“T-The coffee from 10 months ago??”

“11 months, two weeks, and 5 days. But, yes Detective, that one” Connor sasses.

Gavin hates the visible shiver it causes him. 

“Fine, phck it, sure, there a phcking food menu too?”

“Actually, yes.”

“Shit, this place really did get better…”

Connor is quiet for half a beat, before asking, 

“So you have been here before?”

“What? Yeah, of course I’ve been here, I'm human aren’t I?”

Connor pulls up the menu screen and adds Gavin’s coffee before opening the folder for food. 

“The first time you came here, and stayed with me, specifically, I asked you if you’ve had sex with an android, you said no.”

Gavin ignores him for the menu, which was over 30 pages long. What did they merge with Cheesecake factory?

“That wasn’t the question you asked.”

“Why are you deflecting Detective?”

Gavin’s eyes glance up from the menu screen, eyes narrowing suspiciously. He felt like he was being interrogated, but lightly? Almost like he was being teased, but also the man was genuinely curious. Fine, time to see how good his skills were. 

“I’m not deleflecting, it's not the same question!” He chuckles, adding a cheeseburger with all of the fixings, fries, and a chocolate milkshake.

Connor eyes the total calorie count worryingly before deciding to just allow it. 

“So, you haven’t had sex with an android?”

“Nope, just you. Lap dances don't count as sex.”

Connor flushes all the way up to his artificial hairline. 

“Oh. I see,” Connor chuckles, understanding the loophole now. 

“You're more than that, by the way.”

Connor looks at Gavin perplexed, attempting to understand what he could be referring to. 

“More than what?”

“Just an android. I mean, I don't think you shutting down on me would have freaked me out as much as it did, if I, didn’t believe I killed something. That there was something in there to kill. I know I’m an ass, but I’m not stupid. t’s not beyond my belief that technology finally got smart enough to create a perfect, indistinguishable, soulless mimic. But that's not what you are.”

Gavin can feel Connor's eyes on him, burning through his skin all the way down to his nerves. Not actually, but when he felt already scrubbed raw, Connor might as well have heat vision. He continues talking to distract from it. 

“Before the revolution, before, all of you woke up, or whatever, the androids, here especially, were different. Way different than you, and I felt that way before you deviated. You’ve always had, I don't know, something in there. Something deviant. I mean, you mouthed off to me on your first day! I’ve never had an android talk back to me, freaked me the phck out. Thought I was actually gonna get shot in the break room.”

Connor laughs at that. 

“I wouldn't have shot you. I didn't have a gun.”

Gavin finally shot him a look, and Connor’s stupid, pleased as shit fucking smile made his heart clench. Goddamn post sex hormones. Always turned him into a sap. 

“The new you is still a lot like the old you. Sassy and cocky as shit. But I can also clearly see Anderson’s bad influences mixed in there too.”

“Mm, yes, I have grown fond of the word ‘fuck,’ and sex.”

Gavin snorts. 

“Yeah babe, I know.” 

There was something else Gavin needs to say, and if he doesn't do it now, it might stay inside for another year. After everything Connor’s done for him, he deserves to know. “Hey, Connor?”

When Connor’s huge expressive eyes are on him his heart clenches. He needs to push through this. Connor’s worth it. “I was wrong. Before. You are alive, and I was pretty phcking stupid to think otherwise. So, I’m sorry about that. About how I treated you. All of it. Really.”

When Connor doesn’t immediately say anything, Gavin instantly worries he fucked up, again. Despite trying to do everything right. When he takes a closer look, he realizes he’s just been shocked silent. His mouth actually drops open after the out of character apology. At least until Gavin glares at it. He didn't like feeling mocked. 

Connor snaps his lips closed and his cheeks flushed pink. Connor was obviously thinking several things at once trying to figure out which is the right to ask first. It was making Gavin edgy to wait. 

“Will you just ask me whatever you’re frying your breadboard over-analyzing?”

Connor’s face scrunches together adorably, and Gavin hates how stupid hooked he was on Connor already. 

“Would, you consider dating me? Officially?”

Gavin obviously didn't expect that question because now his mouth drops open. Unfortunately for him that freed his tongue, which answers without his brain or hearts consent. 

“You, want to date me? Like more than just hook up?”

Connor nods immediately, pink still dusting his cheeks. 

It wasn't a good sign that he actually missed the blue right? That feels like a four-letter-word red flag warning. 

“Yes, and that's not my social relationships program speaking. I swear.”

Gavin looks at Connor for a moment before saying, 

“Yeah, I believe you.”

Connor closes the distance within a fraction of a second but once he was just a breath away, he took his time, looking Gavin in the eye and making his heart sputter and choke weakly like a winter-frozen engine. 

“You mean it,” Connor says finally, and Gavin bites his tongue before it can answer on reflex again. 

Instead he nods, and then Connor’s lips are on his, hard and bruising in a way that took his breath away. He hasn’t felt this plummeted by a kiss since his first kiss with Hank in 2029. He hates what this means for him, but he can’t get himself to pull away. 

Connor kisses differently than Hank, differently than random hook ups he meets at bars, than most people Gavin’s been with because Connor’s curious, genuine, and deliberate. Probably taking fucking notes in that big brain of his, studying him, studying how his body responds to each press and brush of lips. No one’s ever bothered to pay this much attention to him before and Gavin’s overwhelmed by how it makes him feel. Connor tastes like clean silicone, but he feels so much softer than that. Different enough from human skin for him to notice but not enough for him to want to stop.

They are startled apart by Gavin’s arrival of food and the older man actually growls out his disappointment. It causes the sweetest chuckle out of Connor.

“We can always kiss after. We can stay in here as long as you want.”

“Yeah, like I can afford to spend more than I’ve already spent here this week,” Gavin scoffs playfully, but in reality he was hiding his profuse disappointment. 

“I’m sorry for the ambiguity, I meant on the house. I take breaks between clients all the time.”

“Whoa, what? Seriously?”

Connor nods before pointing to his rapidly cooling meal. 

“Eat your food, and then you can ask me more questions.”

Gavin flushes, temporarily forgetting about his food for the conversation but now suddenly starving. 

After he ate three bites Connor continues. “I make my own schedule, Elijah doesn't take a cut of my tips. I can work the floor or in here whenever I want.”

“Sounds too good to be true, sure he's not playing you?”

Connor shrugs. 

“Not entirely, but so far he’s kept things professional, more or less.”

Gavin didn't like the way that statement made his skin feel. Or the way the name struck a familiar, unwelcome cord in both his heart, and his gut. 

“What's more or less?” He didn't really want to press, but he felt a duty to Connor, Hank, and his job to push. 

Connor appreciates his concern. 

“Everything has been mutually consensual Detective, he’s running a clean operation, in legal terms at least. Though I doubt this place would pass a health inspection.”

Gavin unfortunatly agreed with that statement. 

“Alright, well, good. You make sure to let us know if that changes. Hate to learn our ‘isolated incident’ was a pattern in front of our faces all along.”

“I’m very lucky to have two strong officers to protect me.”

Gavin barks his laughter, but it sounds genuine and not forced.

4x03 "In the Beginning" - aka the first hint of Cas being sympathetic to Dean. 3 episodes into Cas's existence Jeremy Carver was asking the big questions, like what would it look like if Dean and Cas stared all soulfully into one another's eyes??? I MEAN,

4x20 "The Rapture" - the Jimmy Novak episode. Gave us Dean's tranquil fishing dream, Cas's note-passing interruption. Gave us all the conflict of Dean witnessing Jimmy Novak in place of Cas. Gave us that mic drop "I learned my lesson while I was away, Dean. I serve Heaven, I don't serve man. And I certainly don't serve you" hell of a walk-off line.

5x03 "Free to Be You and Me" - do I even need to expand on this one??? "I need your help because you are the ONLY one who will help me," Thelma and Louise quote, Bert and Ernie quote, "you are not gonna die a virgin," the Raphael confrontation, etc etc Dean tells Cas it's the happiest he's been in years!!!

5x08 "Changing Channels" - another classic episode that's great even without the undercurrent of destiel. But undercurrent there is. One of the recurring themes of the episode is Dean being worried about what Gabriel's doing to Cas. Plus, helloooo, "pretty boy angel" Jeremy Carver's horniness for Misha CAME THROUGH.

5x18 "Point of No Return" - do you all not remember "last person who looked at me like that, I got laid" do you all not remember "I gave EVERYTHING for you, and this is what you give to me????" do you all not remember "what the hell happened to him? / "me"???? And a sidenote: do you all not remember Cas carving a banishing sigil into HIS OWN CHEST?????? Again I say, Jeremy Carver's crush on Misha CAME THROUGH.

8x01 "We Need To Talk About Kevin" - I'm pretty sure at this point JC became showrunner, so there was a ~shift in the blatancy of destiel in his writing, but still. This ep is the start of the Purgatory flashbacks, the first peek at Dean's guilt over Cas not making it out with him.

8x23 "Sacrifice" - the 'ET goes home" bar scene, the dozens and dozens of pages worth of meta about cupid and the arrows and the two dudes falling in love in front of Dean and Cas.

9x01 "I Think I'm Gonna Like It Here" - Dean's "please, man, I need you here" prayer to Cas, which miiiight be the first time he prays to Cas seriously. Their v. soft phone call sometime after where Dean is just as worried for Cas as Cas is for him. Plus, hey-o, would it be a Carver episode without objectifying Misha in some way? This is the ep with the infamous laundry scene, of Cas shucking off his clothes in a very poignant loss-of-identity horny way.

9x23 "Do You Believe in Miracles?" - uh, ever heard of "to save Dean Winchester. That was your goal, right? I mean, you draped yourself in the flag of heaven but ultimately it was all about saving one man" which is pretty much a Castiel thesis statement dropped casually as dialogue.

10x01 "Black" - okay, picture this, Cas is depressed and lying wantonly atop a bed, clad only in a robe that's open juuuust wide enough his chest peeks through. To Sam, he wistfully admits "I miss him" as they tiptoe around the subject of Dean. Fanfic, you say? No, Jeremy Carver.

10x23 "Brother's Keeper" - there's a deleted scene of Cas showing up in Dean's dream, bloody and beat up, introduced by the bartender as Dean's "admirer." Not to mention! Winchester Derangement Syndrome. Not to further mention!! Shattered at the altar of Winchester.

11x01 "Out of the Darkness, Into the Fire" - gonna let this gif speak for itself:

Well, hello again.

It's been a very busy month, and I have roughly nothing left in my head, but it's Wednesday okay, and that's finally aligning with a day I ended up driving home thinking I want to do a wip post okay. So first, thank you to everyone still commenting on Musical Chairs, and I'm sorry to anyone who's been hoping I can get the last chapter out in a timely manner. I can't, obviously, but as a sad offering in that chapter's stead, I have here An Ode to How Soundly Musical Chairs Is Kicking My Ass.

We'll see. I've at least started thinking about it again. (The trick is apparently pacing small circles around your enclosure while you're on hold with customer support for an hour.)

Here's that other deleted scene, as a treat. It was a treat for me, anyway, because I don't remember writing it.

“Despite our best efforts,” Agatha muttered, and everyone looked at her. She raised her eyebrows. “She started it. I was out for a week because of her.” “You gave Agatha a concussion?” Baz smirked as Simon said, “You’ve had a concussion?” “Yes,” Niamh answered, and Simon added, “That explains it.” Agatha turned from whatever she’d been about to say, replacing it with, “Explains what?” Simon gave a sad little hum and nudged her chin. “Why you don’t even know what it explains.”

By the way, the actual final chapter is 45 pages at present. One (1) page deeper than the burial ground for its failures. Though the burial ground has a lot of gaps between graves. That probably adds a few pages.

Anyhow, I do sincerely hope y'all will be able to read it before another 7 months have passed. I'll do my best. In the meantime, thank you to everyone who's still tagging me in things, and I'm sorry I disappear a lot and don't shower y'all with the love you deserve for it <3

Let's Make It (a) Home is a fic about the Hanged Man case, from the perspective of the skills learning to work together again and rebuild a home! current word count is 3042 :]

Swept Up in the Feeling is a character study fic from the perspective of Empathy hanging out with the other skills! current word count is 13116!! :D

this fic is probably my favorite out of all my fics, tbh? i love the skills man!! the dynamic of like... "i don't remember a lot of you or a lot of myself, and it's all so distantly familiar, but regardless we all have to work together right now." i think before this they were really dysfunctional, and that persists through the game, and in the fic. they bicker and argue and they don't always get along, but this is a fresh start for all of them and it helps them learn to cooperate better, learning to work as a team!!

the idea that they're also struggling through this, everything harry feels, but trying to keep it together, to work together for their core. in the end, they all want what they think is best for harry, y'know? im really excited to write for the dora dream, y'all know how the skills are in the dream, my GOD. SCREAMS. anyway thats hype hfjhg the whole concept of getting to see the game from the skills perspective, rebuilding, reforming bonds. its really sweet to me.

writing this fic requires replaying all of disco elysium, so i can write it from the skills perspective, which is a BIG ENDEAVOR hgkjg

NOW!! Swept Up in the Feeling, aka EMPATHY MY DARLING. my favorite guy i love him!! kisses his forehead lovingly!! i adoreee this volition chapter, it's a flashback chapter before a MAJOR EVENT happens in the fic and it's just there to showcase my volition and empathy childhood best friend propaganda, theeyyyyy make me so happy i'll cry hgkjg

it's just!! volition was the first skill empathy ever met and attached to!! and empathy was the first skill volition ever met alone, so he feels a sense of responsibility for him hkjg and they're playmates and they take naps and they grow up together and they care about each other.

oughhh i have MANY THOUGHTS ABOUT THEM, and so many art wips of them too hgkjg <33 i'll get to it!!! eventually!! hgkjg

otherwise, I LOVE SWEPT UP!! i love skills character studies!! i love these guys as characters in their own right, and not just narrators or extensions of harry's thoughts!! i love exploring them from empathy's point of view, because thats EMPATHY'S WHOLE THING?? HJLKGJ that he'll know how the other skill feels, how they think, and he'll try to understand and empathize!! he's like, the PERFECT character to do character studies from?? i LOVE YOU EMPATHY!!!

Maybe Modi the Brave (MCU, Thorki). This was an angsty fanfic of a fanfic. There was a happy ending in the original fic, The Rescue by madwriter223

I'm not counting Absolution because it was immediately followed by a sequel. But technically, it did get me the most angry sobbing comments which i treasure to this day.

The Final Straw was angsty but it was also dumb and half-cocked and the closest thing to an embarrassment on this account. It was literally just a half-thought half-scene of my 18yo self's emotional state in 2018 that is very evident that I wrote this angrily in study hall. I wrote a lot of fic in that high school during classes. Like a lot. It was my school computer. I got plenty of use out of it. There was no structure or coherent plot. I didn't even hint at anything deeper to be explored in your own minds. I didn't want to look at it long enough or think about it long enough. I just wanted it out of my head. If I didn't have a strict no deleting my works policy, or hiding from my past art policy, I would probably have deleted it within the week of posting. I do not understand how it has the kudos, subscriptions, and bookmarks that it has. I guess it resonated. Good for y'all. I mean it.

Literally just the entirety of Tyler's Bad Year is meant to be about a very traumatic time in a young man's life and him surviving it. I'm not going to go through them and try to pick out "the worst" one. That's not really the point and it'd be largely subjective.

I'll Eat You Raw has an angsty ending but angstiest? I'm not sure.

I don't write a lot of bad endings. Open endings? sure. Complicated endings? Absolutely. But unhappy endings? No. I don't often have the desire.

7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

Wandering in the Dark has a whole story behind it. There was actually two versions. Only one was posted to ao3 and is the "canon" version. I wrote this fic for a high school assignment my senior year. We were assigned to pick a chronic disease out of a literal hat, then write a story around it. We had complete creative control so I took that chance to write teen wolf steter fanfic in class and actually have it be on task for once (I got an A in that class btw). The reason my teacher got a dark ending version is because by the time he got back to me on the maximum word count, I'd already finished the canon version and it was way too long. I couldn't trim the fat, so I wrote a different ending to shorten the story. That version is one of the angstier stories I've written. The one posted and linked above, is the very happy by comparison. This fic is also designed to be read by someone who doesn't know shit about teen wolf.

Through Thick and Thin was also extremely happy. As is Her Monster. Benevolent Gods was meant to be very hopeful. The Hale Pack (Undying) was the end to a series that was my baby for a long time . Like long enough you can see my writing evolve as you go. Part one was one of the first things i ever wrote. Like ever. The last part was years later. Jasper was meant to be a very light-hearted, happy story as well. It's extremely sweet and fluffy. You was also very happy and the epilogue cemented that happiness. Warning: She Bites literally had a happy end that unknowingly prevented a main character committing suicide in the near future. Saving lives by being horny. Wednesday Evening, and every installment in that series, is excessively happy as well.

Alright I ran through my list of fics. These were the ones that stood out. There's too many to really commit to one answer tbh. Especially because the way they're happy varies.

8. Do you get hate on fics?

Not really. Or. Well. I'm sure I do. I block antis on sight and I wholly reject purity culture, and I haven't really been the target of a major attack or anything. I don't get as many hateful comments as one might think, and I don't entertain the ones I do get. I've been accused of vile shit of course because of a fic I wrote. I don't remember what fic or even what ship it was for because I don't dwell on them really at all. Aside from that, I get more entitled but probably ignorant to how they come off as entitled comments that aren't really that big a deal. Just a bit of a peeve sometimes. I honestly think the majority of them truly believe it's a kind gesture when they say it.

9. Do you write smut? What kind?

Yeah. You could say that.

What kind? In a word? Intense. I could make a joke or a long elaboration on my niche in hyde sex and whatnot, but at the end of the day, intense. Even my most laid back, domestic, slice of life fics have a sense of intensity to them because otherwise I get bored and it feels soulless and it's just not my writing style.

When I feel like it. When I have an idea.

11. Have you ever had a fic translated?

Yes! I have a steter fic on a russian fic website that was translated years ago. I have no idea which it was or if it's still there. Wait! I might remember. Yeah no. I don't remember. It wasn't the one I thought of.

12. Have you ever cowritten a fic before?

No. I've started to outline one before but it went nowhere and we both forgot about it.

13. What WIP you would like to finish, but doubt you ever will?

Harry Potter and the Night that Changed Everything.

I had a whole novel basically planned for it. Writing Bellatrix and a Harry who was raised by Bellatrix took a lot out of me emotionally, and I lost steam.

Also, a Bella Swan/Marcus Vulturi fic that i also had a novel length plot planned out, wrote three chapters for, and then lost steam when I left the fandom due to getting the life sucked out of me by a bunch of toxic people in the fandom killing my joy. Those chapters are just collecting dust in my files right now. I'd like to go back to it one day and finish it in some form or another. Maybe it's original enough I could actually just write an original novel out of the scraps I already have. Actually, to be honest, it is probably original enough that I could write it as an original story. There is not a lot of Twilight there that is necessary to the story and can easily be written out. Something to think about maybe. Ironically not the first prompt I thought up initially for Twilight that I then realized nothing about Twilight was necessary for the idea I had, and I just wrote it without Bella entirely. This is how my original zombie novel started and then immediately evolved into an entirely different thing that has nothing to do w Twilight. Like literally nothing. I had to work to put the Twilight into that one. Not the other way around.

pacing. movement heavy scenes. Longer projects if only because I have less practice at them.

17. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?

Yeah. If it fits, I'll write it. I won't pretend to be fluent, but I'll do my best. Probably won't do anything too complicated for the sake of realism of my abilities. Especially if it's not Spanish which I at least have spent time trying to learn.

Water of the Womb was one I was planning to write for almost a year and it turned out pretty good I think. Actually no.

No. It's not a fic that's been posted yet.

I think the favorite fic I've ever written is I Bit Him So He's Mine. it's my "Wednesday is a Hyde season one rewrite au". It's my first novel that is more than just a future novel. It's hit 40k and I have to start Act 2 still. It's my first proper murder mystery where the mystery is the primary plot equal to the romance. I've had a lot of fun with it, I've put my heart and soul into it, and I really look forward to calling it ready to post. Once it's done, you guys are getting regular updates for a long time.

20. What fic would you want to rewrite one day?

Out of the Fire haunts me. It was a lesson to learn. I had the desire to write a steter/hannigram crossover and zero plan of any kind outside that. It crashed and burned because I only had a first chapter in me. I recently met a local and successful author who recognized my ao3 username because of this fic and remembered me years later enough to compliment my writing (I cannot express how much that meant to me). Wait no that might have been Mark of an Angel which also haunts me, but I didn't have zero plan. I had almost no plan, and lost steam when I hit a creative block at a bad time. Normally, I'd have just sat down and workshopped a starter outline and wrote myself out of that block, but I lost steam so I never did. Different deal. Not as impactful in my creative journey. Out of the Fire, however, was very important to me because of why it failed, and remains very influential with every new project I start. Actually rewriting/finishing that project would be a defining moment for me as a writer, I think. At least to me personally.

A big announcement...

Hi everyone! Very long time, no see.

I've gone through and cleaned things up around here a good bit, deleting old posts and fixing up my masterlist again. You might have seen some posts as I fix things up around here.

But the short and sweet version of this post is...

I'm coming back to this blog!!

It's going to be a decent bit different than before, but I do want to write and share my thoughts with you all again. :)

An important note! I will no longer taking 'requests', but I'd love some inspiration from everyone! I'm not going to hold myself to write anything that doesn't seem right for me. Feel free to send in requests/ideas for inspiration, and please do not be offended if I never get to them! I promise, I'm not judging! Some brief rules on what to ask for are here in my pinned post (they're mostly the same as before haha).

A very LONG rambling update under the cut for anyone wondering what in the world I've been up to.

So... A lot has changed in the past few years here... It's been like a year since y'all have heard from me... Mainly, my hyperfixation on JoJo's went away for a while. So that's my brain's fault haha. I've done this a few times with a few blogs, so I guess I was expecting to drop it sooner or later. What I didn't expect was how much I miss this blog (believe me, I have no regrets on my old blog deaths).

I've been watching JoJo's with a dear friend of mine lately, and the need to write has been stirring again. And then we hit Part 5... My brain was shifted back into fanfic mode instantly. I saw Formaggio and remembered my dear husband. I went and read through so much of my old stuff and remembered how much fun I used to have writing. I'm already working on a few new things, and a few old things, but I'm in no rush.

Which relates to some of the changes I'm hoping to make here. In all honesty, I did a lot here for the attention of people and the approval of the fandom. And that is not sustainable! No wonder I had writing burnout so much... I'm not planning to take as many requests anymore, and I will be much more focused on creating things that make me happy than anything else. Hopefully others enjoy it anyway :)

So... What have I been up to? My life has been taking lots of unexpected twists and turns. My, not entirely intentional, unemployment has opened up some free time to get back to things I enjoy. And I will never let a job take over my life like that again. Good news is, I'm working on my mental health and I finally feel creative again! I want to write and draw and think and I actually have the energy for it!

I've been very lost in the awful job market lately, and being at home alone all day isn't the most thrilling, but even just the minor things I've been doing behind the scenes on this blog have made me feel great. It's a bit more fulfilling than just playing Fortnite all day 😅

And me? I've grown up a lot lately. Working through mental issues, focusing on myself and my happiness, making changes for the better. Which is the main reason I really want to come back! This blog made me so happy and that's my main goal lately. I'm back into JJBA hardcore, I've become a Fortnite kid, and my love of Pokémon has come back in full force. And I have a new pretty gaming PC to sit and write at and the more I use it the more it's worth the $1500 I spent on it.

Oh, and one last thing... For better or worse, I've pretty much ended up a functional stoner. 😅 Probably expect more headcanons about getting high with diff characters that will be way better than the goofy ones I wrote way back when.

Okay, if serious, I just knew about them but never interested in it and don't remember whether I watched this show before or not. But I seen all of seasons attentively only in November 2023. Then I fell into it entirely and completely.

Favourite Gallavich moment/scene? oh god, it's hard.. so many really awesome scenes. I want to highlight a few and maybe make a top.

Mickey Watching Over Ian [S04E07] — my s-tier, i love re-watch this scene, i love this song (and i'm so sad that it's been removed from spotify but ok whatever). It's incredibly emotional, that's all. Mickey is so protective, there are so many thoughts on his face. And this silent talk with Svetlana screams very loudly for me. I just like to think that in that moment Mickey is thinking about how much he loves Ian and how glad he is that he's finally here.

"First Time I Felt Anything Since…" [S05E10] — just one more emotional scene before disaster. Really like it and the song is good too.

The Club Kiss [S04E08] — they are so touch starved for each other's. yummy.

"I Gotta Worry. You're My Husband." [S11E04] — it's really sad that this scene was deleted :\

"Rain On Me." [S11E07] — PLEASE they're so domestic and comfort, singing together, what could be better??

Favourite Shameless character apart from Ian and Mickey? Carl! I actually really love a lot of the characters, but Carl the most. Love his character development, love his sibling bonding with Debbie and how they grew together, as well as his brotherly relationship with his elders. Love his interactions with Mickey and wish there was more. He's so sweet and silly kitty. I also had a crush on Sandy and would have liked to see more of a storyline with Debbie, but eh.

Favourite type of Gallavich fics? I'm absolutely in love for AUs! Before gallavich I didn't realize how much I loved the AUs. It's just amazing and this fandom is amazing because there are so many things I want to read, but there are sooooo many. I love multi-chaps and slowburn! Any universe, the main thing is our boys and tension between them!

Most of all I want to mention my love for texting/social media or something like that. I like it when text messages are inserted into the writing.

I prefer fluff, but I have nothing against angst, only if it is hurt/comfort. I love getting different emotions and I love crying too, but I don't like bad endings.

I'm a bit of a shy introverted lurker and didn't understand at all how tumblr blogging system worked until that moment, usually I just threw my art and ran away. But now I'm watching how people do their posts (use a queue?? what). And I wasn't completely sure how to blog with drawings without turning it into something personal, but it seems that's the point of blog?

So I'm just getting used to everything and want to stay in the shameless fandom, because it's very nice to be here. You are all very nice people and I have already become attached to y'all.

Apart from anything else, I have a huge obsession. I constantly read something new that comes into my hands, and I have a lot of ideas for new arts. (I might even want to do an edit, but shhh, I'm not sure I'm really mentally ready yet haha).

ahhhh this is niche but I just found the funniest scene I had to cut from Tivaevae (this takes place during the journey from Kamino to Geonosis) (also let me know if y'all want to see more of these bc I have 50k+ words of cut content from Tivaevae alone)

With a groan, Rex rolled over and retrieved his commlink. He reopened the message center and navigated to Ahsoka's chat. Being that it was hosted on the internal GAR network, all it needed was a holonet connection to work instead of the long-distance communication equipment required for holocalls.

It… it didn't actually surprise him, he realized. In fact, it was inevitable. Boba was a clone, even if he did age normally, and she already felt so protective of the clones twice her size. Could there ever have been another outcome when she finally found one smaller than her?

Not everyone, but you know exactly who you are. I get that they shouldn't have used a deleted scene to promote the show, but y'all went a little too far.

Hey y'all!

So, I accidentally deleted my latest post while editing it. And I'm trying my best to remember what I said earlier.

So, 34 is finally coming together. The first draft (minus the closing scene) is 7.5k+. So expect a super long chapter the next time I update. I think this will beat 29 lengthwise. I'll start editing this weekend!

This chapter has loads of Liam/Cole moments. But another character is important too. It's someone who hasn't appeared much in the fic but readers have asked about before. If you guys can correctly guess the character below, I'll do a bonus teaser of them/Cole (Besides the Liam/Cole teaser I'm planning to do soon)

I think the teaser(s) will kind of give away the idea of the chapter and I really wanted this one to be a complete surprise but it's been more than two months since I updated so maybe I'll let it slide this time.

I've reallyyyy missed being in Elora's head the last two months (for more reasons than the fact that 34 is Cole P.O.V). The thought of switching back to her is one of the things motivating me to finish 34 faster.

Wait- y'all think jungkook is passive agressive towards taehyung? I mean i did get the vibe Sometimes like that but you can't say that out loud about "partners in crime" can you? Not that i care about amis just that i thought it'll be like me making jungkook look bad but seems like there are people who noticed too.

Remember that live in 2019 (ig) where taehyung was trying to say something nd jk was like "that's not important" again nd again that jm had to step in and shake him saying why's he not letting taehyung speak only then did jk said "ok you can talk before shut live or after this" something, then those cooking scenes from ITS2, then just from the concert DVDs where he's like hitting tae's butt playfully to get back his jacket, Then the"just because you're wearing green suit doens't mean you have to act like a frog" and many more. I know tkkrs love to portray how jk hates jm over small small things but imagine if jk did all this to jm? I don't see jungkook acting like that towards jm. Even in their last live where taehyung says "I'm listening to you jm so please speak" and everyone's like what? Then tae be like "y'all weren't listening to him" and jk literally said "we were all listening to jimin/we were all responding to him only" lol. Ain't no way jm's talking and jk will not listen or interrupt him intentionally.

Now a question to you have you ever thought jk and jm were bitc* or passive aggressive towards each other? Any incidents?

Jungkook looking bad? More like him coming across as more relatable. We're all acting bitchy sometimes, even about unimportant things. It's normal. Look at Chloe Sevigny now making dull people angry on twitter cause she said she's had it with athleisure and people always with their pets out and about in NY. She's right, she shouldn't be booed. And Tedros needs to be taken down a peg sometimes. Jimin is feeding his delusions (no, he cannot become a better dancer), but Jungkook is right there to make sure no one gets ahead of themselves 😄 That last wlive was funny.

Now, this is not because of my biased opinions (honestly), but my poor memory cause I was trying to think of Jikook being bitchy with each other, but I can't think of anything specific. They used to have that scolding thing going on, but there was usually nothing mean underneath. Like, despite any arguing we saw on camera or annoyance, it's like they were making sure no feelings were actually hurt. Even when they were young. And no, I do not need or have the time to entertain age old stories and boring arguments about JK "hating" JM in the beginning or being hurtful. No one bring that to my inbox cause I'm just gonna roll my eyes and delete. Move on

Being bitchy for the sake of it means not caring about that at all. I'd know, lol.
