What are some mishaps some of your ocs have gotten themselves into during alchemy class?

Mmm, potion mishaps, my favorite genre of twst comedy!!!

During a joint class, Sumana and Bouquette got bumped into and got a transformation potion spilled on to them. What type of transformation potion? A mermaid transformation potion~ And this accident was created solely because I felt wronged that ch3 was not the mermaid adventure I was hoping it would be.

Not technically a potion mishap because it was completely intentional, but Bouquette may have slipped Riddle a personality-changing potion solely because I wanted an excuse to write bad boy Riddle.

And now the problem child Missy. She has not one, but two, potion mishaps. The first being ye olde she becomes a baby, inspired by Mintmoth's doodles of Baby Kalim, and the second being a Freaky Friday situation with @twstwhisper's René. Honestly, there may be many other potion mishaps that happened to her that I may be forgetting.

A bit of a drabble I wrote a long time ago~

Missy will always be a dumbass, but this was probably the dumbest thing she did in her whole entire life…and she had done some very dumb things. A handful of the first years were having a joint alchemy remedial lesson, and chaos was bound to happen. First with Epel complaining about his eyes stinging while he chose to wear his safety goggles on his head. Second with Ace and Deuce roughhousing…as per usual. Third with Roche doing Roche things. But, Missy’s dumbassery really did take the cake during this class period though. 

Epel slowly mixed the mysterious and sparkling liquid, squinting as the potion’s fumes continued to burn his eyes. Missy was mesmerized by the changing colors. 

“You ever wonder what this tastes like?” She looked into the cauldron. Her head was scarily close to the bubbling liquid. 

“No, can’t say that I have.” Epel mindlessly stirred the potion, dropping in random ingredients. 

“I wanna just…” Missy’s head inched closer. 

“What do you think you’re doing?!” Sebek yelled, grabbing the back of her collar and yanking her head away from the questionable substance. 

“ACK! Sebek, what was that about?” Missy pouted. 

“Your gremlin is coming out~” Ace teased. 

“You were about to touch the potion, so I stopped you.” Sebek said before focusing back on his potion. 

“I wasn’t gonna do anything stupid.” She most definitely was. “I was just asking if—“ Her face was again just barely hovering above the potion Epel was mixing. “—you ever thought—“ Even closer. “—about tasting it.” Her tongue dipped into the forbidden soup. 

Epel just watched her in shock. 

“Oh my go—what the fuck—AHHHHHH!” He freaked the fuck out, dropping the mixing spoon to pull Missy away from the potion. All eyes were on them as Missy crinkled her nose. 

“Eww. Tastes gross.” And then, she was enveloped in a puff of smoke. 

“MISSY!” Epel screamed, fanning at the smoke to blow it away. In her place sat a toddler…a toddler version of Missy. 

Professor Crewel sighed as he picked up the babified Missy.

“You chaotic pup.” The teacher shook his head. “Mr. Zigvolt, take Ms. Chievous back to Diasomnia.” Without a response, Sebek took Missy from Professor Crewel and left with the babbling child in his arms. 

“The rest of you, I expect you to clean up your equipment quickly and quietly.” The professor turned to Epel. “And you, Mr. Felmier, will assist me as punishment in making the antidote, seeing as you watched as she tasted the potion.” Crewel cracked his crop.

“Now, you stay put, lil’ Missy, as I make you a snack~” Lilia was taking complete advantage of Missy being turned into a toddler to baby her to his heart’s content. 

Just as Lilia turned his back to cook something horrendous for the little girl, Missy disappeared from her seat, accidentally using her teleportation magic that Lilia himself taught her. 

“I’m baAAAAACK!” Lilia dropped the plate of horrible sludge, searching frantically for the missing baby.

Missy pattered around the halls of the dorm, coming to rest at the fountain of Scarabia. She crawled upon on the edge, splashing her hand in the cool water. The rippling water mesmerized the little girl as she leaned over and over and over.

SPLASH!

Jamil rushed at the sound. 

“Kalim, you better no—“ He gawked, staring at the sight of a small child crying in the fountain. Messy lavender hair? Bright green eyes? Annoying and whiny voice? Yup, this was the gremlin that he had unfortunately grown attached to but as a toddler. 

Jamil sighed, picking her up out of the water. 

“Why is it that whenever there is a problem, you’re at the center of it?” He cradled her in his arms, bringing her back to the dorm proper to dry her off and change her out of the soaked clothes. Jamil sent René a text which was met with no reply.

Random Headcannon List of Characters

Jolie's eye socket of other pocket dimension connects her to the Marble Empire (CPC equivalence for Greece) where things that happened in the 'fictional' books that related to Greek in CPC (Dogyssey, Medusa, Tale of Deaneira) series actually really does happen - those Greek monsters exist, and one of them is biting Saffron at episode 19. Btw Monika's reference at ep 76 of Maria Kondo come from celebrity that like MK in her kingdom - The Quilt Kingdom.

Blaine and Lance's academy isn't St. Cerulean like Frederick and Leland - but both uniform is blue, so I feel the name of the school will be related to blue.. I suggest "Lapis Academy"

Frederick isn't a picky eater (contrasts to Leopold that dislike sweets, or Jamie that had disdain over 'healthly foods' like vegetables) - but he had tedency to eat green-colored foods, so similar with Percy Jackson by Rick Riordan but instead blue is green. This means he loves eating green vegetables like broccoli, spinach, lettuce, cabbage, etc - green fruits like green apple of granny smith, melon, lime, etc - and green flavor associates like matcha (milk green tea)

In the Monochrome kingdom - the most favorite ice cream taste is Cookies and Cream because monochromatic color. Whitney associate that taste as the flavor of his childhood

Maria's collection: she listens to the (Bozart/Schozart) music using grammaphone that she keep at her wardrobe, also she have soft spots to all fairy tales with female blondies in there such as Sleeping Beauty, Alice in Wonderland and Rapunzel

Lorena actually the one that cares the pets at their palace the most, not Maria with her animal gathering ability or Gwen with the vermins [like Mr Possum and Mr Rat] - She built a cat tower house for Colonel Snuggles, keeping stash of catnips for Col. Snuggles, buying treats for them - and even the one that cosplaying them [kinda shown being the one that gives them the military gears, or a skirt]

[warning for dark, grim HC there] One of the horrifying taste that Jamie encounter is when the chef feeling suicidal, the food taste abruptly changes to feel like aftertaste of metallic blood. Jamie never tell anyone about it to protects the chef identity that very ashamed to ever serves a prince like that

Gwen is very creative person indeed, beside creating various dishes - she also crafting a teddy bear plushie in homage for Frederick, hence the reason Frederick depicted as the bear

Lilyth (Leelathae) can draw (more tidy than a doodles), the diary of lilyth has drawings of various stuffs like Melusine emblem - the inside of the Pastel palace - the possums in the forest.. Gwen and Lorena inhirited her talent to draw, but Jamie and Maria can't draw like Jack

working on various multiple part time job as teenager, which she's juggling as pet shop keeper - band player - dish washer

Leland the one that crafting accesories for Laverne, like the necklace. He orthodidacly learns about it with books and lot of time spent in his office. He never letting anyone, even Jack - about his crafts and multiple designing that he learns by himself including making chess pieces and dress designs

Thermidora know and singing "Under the Sea" because the Lobster Kingdom is near the Mermaid Kingdom - which actually exist but never be mentioned to anyone. Another case of similarity with Marble Empire, the 'fairy tales' books actually depicting real life things instead as fictional

Velvet Kingdom where Renée come from specialized in the ringsmithing, everyone rings that depicted so far (Jolie's to Nell, Blaine's to Maria, Lance's to Lorena, Frederick's to Gwen) all are come from this said kingdom that masterfully crafting rings (which imbued by minor magic so always could fits the wearer) and putting it on specialized velvet ring box

Prez literally studied everything from algebra to biology to finance to geography to zoology + curses, espc if depicted from fairy tales - hence she's the one that capable to checking potential CPC member with her knowledge. Her knowledge is so vast but sadly she can't teach

Saffron from Foliage Kingdom and Syrah from Metallic kingdom actually come from neighboring kingdom - their border is metallic fences that has vines of ivy grows there. Their kingdom has many alliances business, which the prominent one is "Goblin's Silverwares" - which a specialized, magical wares (weapons included) that always pristine so no need to get cleaned up + imbibed to get more powerful if getting strong stuffs like venom's beast. Goblin's silverwares are very rare and expensive, with the goblins usually won't ever consider to making one to human unless a very special ocassion arise which also prevents malicious people to get it

Miss Agatha's questionable book collection, she brought it from Pastel Plaza - yes the market selling smut stuff openly

Beckett is the sole keeper of the "Lost and Found" corner, which actually becomes hazard things accumulator

You might know Jane Levy from her comedic turn on the gem of a sitcom Suburgatory  or from that time she scared the bejesus out of you in Don’t Breathe . It could be that she caught your eye in Showtime’s Twin Peaks: The Return,  or maybe she had you on the edge of your seat binge-watching Hulu’s Castle Rock . Or perhaps it’s her latest project, Netflix’s Renée Zellweger–led suspense thriller What/If , that has you buzzing about the 29-year-old. Whatever it may be, one thing is for sure: The actress is a force on screen. Ahead of the What/If  premiere, we caught up with Levy to talk shop and all things fashion. In addition to dishing on Zellweger’s surprising car choice, Levy let us in on her affordable T-shirt secret, made a strong case for jumpsuits, and told us who she thinks nailed the Met Gala theme. Don’t miss our conversation with the actress below. How would you describe What/If  to your friends? Our show is a sexy melodrama. There are a lot of storylines, but the root of the story revolves around a young couple who, because of desperate circumstances, decide to make a deal with the devil and then have to suffer the consequences. It's the ’90s-esque thriller you've been waiting for. What surprised you most about Renée Zellweger while working together on this project? She's very low-key. She doesn't have an assistant and she drives a minivan. Renée is extremely gracious and hardworking. This part isn't necessarily a surprise, but she is a true class act. What/If is created by Mike Kelley, who was also behind the popular series Revenge . What do you think it is about his storytelling that appeals to audiences? Well for one, Mike is great at writing female villains and female rivalry. Who doesn't love Cruella De Vil? We love drama! I love drama. He puts his characters in extraordinary circumstances and watches them crawl themselves out. What I think makes Mike so good is that even in delicious, over-the-top scenarios, the characters are coming from real human need. Also, in our story, women aren't actually  fighting over a man, they are fighting for power and domination, and on a deeper level, they are fighting for acceptance and love. Each character in What/If  is complex, yearning for love, and hurting someone along the way. I think the audience will disagree over who is good or bad, right or wrong. I also just think Mike is fun, and because of that, his writing is entertaining as hell. You are no stranger to a good suspense story. What is it about these stories and your characters that speak to you as an actress? I, as a viewer, love suspense. Silence of the Lambs  might be my favorite movie. My attraction as an actress comes from my attraction as an audience member. Who are the women in this industry who inspire you? Jane Fonda, Reese Witherspoon, Melanie Lynskey, Annette Benning, Laura Dern, Kristen Stewart, Glenda Jackson, Viola Davis, Margot Robbie, Holly Hunter. And many more… Switching gears to fashion, how would you describe your style in a sentence or less? Classic/sometimes glamour/mixed with California beach and hill walking. What is the outfit you feel most yourself in? A T-shirt and a great pair of jeans. What are your favorite clothing brands/ stores to shop? Levi's, Wrangler, Hansel From Basel, Rachel Comey, BaBaa knits, Ganni, Celine. I shop online at Garmentory, Maryam Nassir Zadeh, and Etsy for vintage. What are the five holy-grail clothing items you own? A pair of pink Celine sunglasses I've managed to hold onto since 2012. My perfectly worn-in Dr. Martens. A pinky signet friendship ring I got made for my best friend Mae Whitman and I designed by Kate Jones of Ursa Major. AMO Demin's Babe Tee. I own it in seven colors. A pair of black vintage Yves Saint Laurent trouser pants that I found and fit perfectly without tailoring (I tailor all of my clothes). What's your favorite thing you've worn to an event or on a red carpet so far, and why? Wearing a jumpsuit to events gives me a sense of confidence. I feel like I can stomp around freely, and it often showcases the butt! What is one of the most valuable fashion lessons you've learned from your stylist Tara Swennen? That I can't dress myself—ha! Tara went to an Ivy League school and studied fashion for four years. This woman is highly trained at her art. Finally, in response to this Instagram , we're curious, who do you think got it right at the Met Ball this year? I thought Harry Styles looked fabulous. okokokokok it’s tdov. my day is not going to be ruined by the unsurprising incapability of amazon or news outlets to treat transgender people and stories with any kind of respect

there are so many beautiful trans people and stories and artists out there and i and everybody else has to remember and celebrate that, even when capitalism is trying to ruin this wonderful day. We are artists and scientists and activists. We are parents and doctors and librarians. We are a diverse group of people with so many stories to tell. We are a beautiful people. TDOV is about that. It’s about actress Laverne Cox who represents us in Western cinema. It’s about Lili Elbe, who fought to push gender reassignment surgery forwards, at risk to herself because it was very new medicine at the time. It’s about Renée Richards who refused the Barr test and fought in court to be allowed to play in the woman’s open. It’s about musician Laura Jane Grace. It’s about epidemiologist Alan Hart, or biologist Joan Roughgarden. It’s about all the genderqueer artists who make wonderful comics and art on here all the time. It’s about all the all the wonderful people in the queer community who look after each other and do their best to represent us everyday.

If I had to list every wonderful trans person I wish everybody knew about, I would never be able to finish this post. So despite the negative news may or may not share today, no matter the insensitivity of individuals, or the clumsy greediness of corporations, that is what I choose to remember and focus on. 

Each and every one of us genderqueer or trans people has a future. A brilliant future. We as a community have such vibrant and unique stories and today is a day to celebrate that.
