I absolutely despise AI and all who support. Never interact with me if you encourage that shit. AI art is not art. There is no such thing as an "AI artist". Voice actors are having their voices stolen. I don't care what "good things" come out of it i want it all gone. Learn to do art yourselves you lazy, unimaginative fuck. Impressions aren't that hard, and hiring someone who can do them is even easier. Using them for shitposts isn't ok either. You're still using them for their intended purpose. "But AI will never be a substitute for the real thing" try telling that to the companies who are using ai art for their tv show intros (Marvel) or companies planning on using ai voices for video games (Microsoft). Non-voice actors and Non-artists don't understand the struggles that come with the work involved. And they're the same ones taking your work from you.

On Ao3 if you find any AI fics you can just report them for spam and plagiarism. Its under their ToS under Content and Abuse Policies, sections B: Spam (because they're clogging up the tags and promoting the sites they use) and section E: Plagiarism (which I think is self-explanatory since they admit to using the bots to scrape fics from authors)

This. This is the extremely helpful. Report AI written fanfics. Do not interact with them in any other way because the people who use AI to write them will think that they can still do it. Just report them because Ai fanfiction is not fanfiction and they shouldn’t be allowed.

Like, this probably happens because it’s an INCREDIBLY new medium of art (and probably because the people who are adopting it are more of technology enthusiasts than they are, y’know, actual artists) but the way AI art programs gather their datasets is extremely unregulated right now, which makes them straight up steal from artists and photographers. Like, sometimes it generates art WITH watermarks or signatures.

I fully expect it to be held to some sorts of regulations (and I think people should straight up sue AI datasets for that to happen) soon. Like, there’s no shortage of pictures that are free to use online and I bet that, if properly paid for it, some artists will be glad to let their art be used for this purpose. Hell, some people might even offer to have their art be used for datasets for free.
