You’re cleaning around the house as you hear Spencer’s shoes echo through the entryway.
“Hey Spence, I’m in here!” You called out. You typically greeted him at the door, but today your hands were covered in dish soap. You were so excited to see Spencer; he had been gone for about four days before they finally caught the bad guy. You hated when people decided to go on some killing rampage because people died, of course, but also because that meant Spencer had to leave you.
You smile over your shoulder as Spencer approaches you and slips his hands around your waist bringing his head to your neck leaving kisses.
“Hello my love. I have missed you.” Spencer hugged you tighter as you paused the dish washing to enjoy his warmth around you. “Wait, y/n, why are there SO many dishes??” Spencer asked in confusion.
“Uh, well, about that. You know how I am.. You know I stress bake.” You went back to washing the dishes as Spencer walked over to the counter to check what glorious dessert you had made.
“Pie? Well honey you know I’m excited for that.” Spencer had made his way back to you. He grabbed a towel and you assumed he was going to dry dishes.
“Awe, thank you Spen-... What are you doing?” Spencer pulled your hands out of the water and began to dry them as you stared at him in confusion. Before you know it, Spencer was dragging you over to the couch.
“You know you could have just asked, right?”
“Y/n, we need to talk.” That’s when your stomach dropped and you felt your whole mood fall. Spencer took a seat on the couch and patted his lap for you to sit there too. You obeyed, not wanting to make him mad before whatever little talk took place. You sat down but only stared at your hands not wanting to meet his gaze. Spencer lifted his hand and gently pulled your chin up forcing you to look at him.
“Y/n, I am going to ask you something and I need you to be honest. Can you do that?” You nodded and felt his grip tighten on your chin. “Use your words.”
“I will be honest…” You said in a quiet voice, scared of the question to come.
“Hotch asked me if I wanted to take two days off, would you be okay with that?” Spencer began to smile.
“YOU MADE ME SCARED FOR YOU TO ASK ME THAT??? Why couldn’t you have just started with that!!!!” You were so annoyed. He knows how anxious you get, so rude.
“I know. I just like messing with you.” You gave him the best death stare you could as he smiled like a child. “Well, do you want me to stay home with you for two days?”
“I guess.” You crossed your arms and pretended to pout.
“Well, I can always just say no and go into work anyways. You know, since you don’t really seem to care.” Spencer poked at your side forcing your smile to show.
“Of course I want you to stay home!” Spencer called Hotch to let him know and that was that. Spencer would be spending Thursday through Sunday with you, five days….
NEXT MORNING
You woke up freezing and instinctively reached to pull Spencer closer only to feel an empty bed. Half asleep, you were disappointed. On his day off he still finds a reason not to stay in bed with you. All of a sudden, the tears hit you. You felt yourself regressing and couldn’t do anything to change it. You forced yourself out of bed, wiping away the tears and pulling on one of Spencer’s old sweatshirts that practically swallowed you whole. Pants? No need.
You made your way downstairs as you continued to dry your eyes. You didn't want him to spend his day taking care of you so you hoped you could hide the puffy eyes long enough. You found him working away at his desk and softly knocked on the office door.
“Good morning baby. Come here.”
You walked over and seated yourself on his lap, straddling him you mumbled a good morning and immediately buried your head in his neck.
“Heyyyyy, what’s wrong?” You felt Spencer begin to rub your back.
“Nothing’s wrong.”
“Y/n.” Spencer pulled you out of his neck and forced you to sit up. You avoided eye contact but knew he would see right through you. “Are we having a rough morning, princess?” You nodded and went to lean back into him. He stopped you and reached up to wipe away a tear that had fallen. “Do we need to be little today?” You nodded again. “Can we use our words please?”
“Yes Daddy.”
“Okay baby. I have some work to do but let’s go get dressed, eat breakfast, and then we will come back to work on some stuff, okay?” You nodded and stood up, then followed Spencer back upstairs.
AN HOUR LATER
“Alright princess, I need to do some work, so I am going to need you to color while I work. Can you do that for Daddy?”
“Yes!!”
You sat down to color as Daddy went back to working. You hated when he worked instead of spending time with you, but you also knew he had to work. You began to draw and color a picture of a beautiful forest.
“Daddy, look at what I drew!”
“Give me just a moment, princess.”
“Stupid Daddy.” You mumbled and pouted as you waited.
“Y/n. Come over here for a second.”
Uh-oh. He heard you. He wasn’t supposed to hear that…. You stood and walked over the stand beside his chair. He rested his hand on your side and scooted his chair back. He moved you to be standing in between his legs. You had your hands interlocked in front of you and looked down to avoid his stare.
“Would you like to repeat yourself?” You shook your head, still avoiding his gaze. “Okay, then that’s strike one. Do you still want to show me your picture?” You shook your head again and began to move back to drawing only to be pulled back to in between his legs. “Did I tell you, you could go yet?”
“No, Daddy…” You were only mad that he had heard you, not mad that you had said it. It’s not like you actually meant it.
“You can go now. Don’t let it happen again.” He landed a warning smack on your ass as you turned around.
“STOP!” You immediately brought your hand to mouth as you registered what you had said. “I’m sorry Daddy I didn’t mean it!”
“Princess. That’s strike two. Go color before you get yourself into more trouble. I am not very happy with you right now.”
“But I didn’t-” He cut you off before you could finish your sentence. “Go, now.”. You began to stomp away, frustrated that he wouldn't even listen to you.
“Was that stomping I just heard?” You looked back to see him staring directly at you.
“No.”
“And now we are lying to Daddy?”
“I- I-...”
“No. That’s strike three. Go clean up your coloring mess and meet me in the living room. Make it quick.”
You knew you had messed up and you knew what was coming. Well, at least you thought you did. Daddy had started using the three strike system a while ago. It wasn’t very often that you actually got three strikes. You slowly cleaned up the coloring mess not wanting to meet him in the living room.
“The longer you take, the longer I will take.” Spencer shouted from the living room.
You quickly finished and found your way to the living room. You found Daddy sitting on the couch with disappointment in his eyes.
“Y/n, is there anything you would like to say for yourself?”
“I didn’t mean it, Daddy.”
“Thank you. Now come here.”
You found yourself across his lap, no pants on. Stupid idea tonight wear pants. You always hated being spanked. Daddy didn’t have to spank you very often, only when you had been really bad. You held onto his leg as he began to rub circles on your ass cheeks.
“Princess, why are you in trouble right now?”
You shook your head, not wanting to answer and were met with a sharp smack. You whined and realized your mistake.
“Let me try again, why are you in trouble?” He spoke in a stern voice.
“Because I called you stupid and then I yelled at you and then I stomped away…” You could feel the tears about to fall, you always hated disappointing him. “I’m sorry Daddy.”
“Thank you for apologizing Princess. I want you to be a good girl, okay?” You nodded. “Here’s how this is going to work. You are going to count and if you mess up, we start over. Are we clear?”
“Yes Daddy.”
You braced yourself for the first hit. To your surprise, it wasn’t too hard.
“One… Two…. Three…. Four….”
By the time the tenth one came you were bawling, choking out the numbers between sobs.
“How many more Daddy?” You turned your head to meet his gaze.
“Ten more, count.”
As the hits kept coming so did the sobs.
“Twenty..”
You felt yourself relax as the last one came. Spencer sat you up on his lap and wiped away some of the tears.
“Are we going to let it happen again?”
You shook your head scared of how the words may come out. As you went to lean in for him to hold you, you were stopped.
“Princess, we aren’t done yet. I am very disappointed in the way you acted this morning” You could feel yourself begin to pout, emotions taking over. You were still in your little space so you were already emotional, plus the feeling of disappointing Daddy was a lot to handle. The tears began to fall a little faster than before. “I want you to sit in time out and I want you to think about this morning. I am not very happy with you at the moment.”
Spencer stood you up and then led you by the hand to the timeout chair.
“I know you are likely in pain from that spanking, so do you want to sit or stand?”
“Can I stand please?”
Spencer nodded as led you to the corner. He turned you so you were facing the wall.
“I will be back to get you when your time is over. You can always sit if you want.”
You sniffled and nodded. You brought your sweater sleeve up to wipe away some tears. The longer you stood there, the worse you began to feel for treating Daddy like that. Daddy always did everything he could for you and what did you do in return? Act like a brat.
A couple more minutes passed by and Spencer returned. He made his way to you and wrapped his arms around you. You pulled him tightly. His hands found their way to the back of your thighs and squeezed, signaling for you to jump. Daddy carried you into the bedroom and laid you on the bed.
“Princess, can you lay on your stomach for me? We need to put some lotion on you.”
You did as you were told and rolled over. You felt the soothing lotion and were so grateful to have someone like Spence.
“I’m really sorry Daddy. I didn’t mean what I said earlier. Do you still love me?”
“Of course I love you Princess. I know you didn’t mean it, I just don’t want you acting like that, okay? I know you can be a good girl and I want you to act like one”
You nodded. Spencer laid back to give you a kiss.
“All done baby. Let’s put on some pants.” Spencer pulled out a pair of pajama pants and helped you into them. After he was done, he pulled you in for a hug.
“Daddy, will you hold me?”
“Of course I will. How about we lay in bed and watch a movie?”
“Can we watch Moana?” You looked at him with your best puppy dog eyes.
“Yes Princess, we can watch Moana. BUT, only if you promise to be a good girl for the rest of the time I am home.”
“Deal!”
You hopped into bed and waited as he put the movie in. You could feel yourself tiring down from the overload of emotions. You honestly just wanted him to hold you and never let you go. As he made his way back to the bed you reached up with grabby hands.
“I love you Princess.”
“I love you too Daddy.”
