still not over the absolutely braindead take that "if you say brutalism looks dystopian, you care more about your aesthetic than people having homes!!!!"
like
can't criticize Shein or you must want their workers to be unemployed
oh you don't like that restaurant? guess you want the people eating there to STARVE
fuck both roses AND bread; nutrient-dense gray EnergyCubes would keep you alive so wishing for a better sensory experience is basically capitalist bootlicking
(I agree that considering Soviet-era brutalist apartment buildings in the context of "shit we need housing; put something up quick" is important for those specific structures- though I think that can coexist with "wow that's ugly" -but. this person did not stop there)

well fuck got my speeding ticket processed and its god damn. 240 bucks. bashing my head against a wall.
i already have commissions that need completing so I would feel guilty about accepting other people's money when I already have a queue this long, but I really don't have any choice but to pay it. my paypal is here and my venmo is @/ambees02 if you feel like chipping in anything. I will make you a little doodle or a drabble or something as a thank you.
once I have my other commissions finished, I'll open them back up again to help recoup the costs + delete this post if i do recoup it all. Any amount at all I will really appreciate it.

When driving in and around residential areas or anywhere there might be pedestrians, always drive extra carefully, be more mindful of following the speed limit, be extra careful about going around corners or approaching anywhere with pedestrian crossing especially if there's low visibility due to things like bushes and trees. In short, don't be afraid to drive like a little old grandparent anywhere residential where there might be pedestrians.
Speed limits are lower in residential areas for a reason, and that's because it reduces pedestrian injuries and deaths when you drive more carefully when people might be around and crossing the street. You never know when a small child chasing a ball or a pet who broke loose from the house might run into the street, and your abiding the speed limit and driving mindfully could be the difference between life and death in these scenarios. Even if a fully grown adult is just walking or biking to the store they deserve to do so safely without being injured or killed by a speeding car whipping around corners without looking where they're going.
This all also applies to other motorized forms of transportation, such as electric scooters, as you're also at risk of hitting and injuring or even killing pedestrians and cyclists.

to give a little insight to davy in my canon, he grew up near the ocean in a little docking town, and he grew to have a great love of the ocean and would always watch the sailors come in and out. that's part of why he loves swimming so much and he really enjoys living by the water on the beach, it reminds him of his childhood :) he loves the ocean

Top 5 Things to Consider Before Buying Apartments
Buying an apartment like apartments in Bandra West is a significant investment, and it is essential to make the right decision to avoid regrets in the future.
With numerous options available, choosing the perfect apartment can be challenging, especially if you are a first-time buyer. Whether you are looking for a place to live or an investment opportunity, there are a few things to consider before making the final decision.
1: Location
The location of the apartment is crucial when making a purchase decision. You should consider the apartment's proximity to your workplace, schools, hospitals, and shopping centres. Additionally, considering the neighbourhood and the surrounding environment, you can look for the example of flats in Bandra. If the location is ideal, you can enjoy the benefits of easy access to essential amenities and services.
2: Security
Security is a top priority when it comes to buying an apartment. You should consider the level of security in the building and the neighbourhood. Ask about the security measures, such as CCTV cameras, security personnel, and access control. The apartment's security will give you peace of mind and ensure your family's and property's safety.
3: Amenities
The amenities available in the apartment are also crucial to consider. Look for an apartment with amenities such as a gym, swimming pool, children's play area, and parking. These amenities will make your life more comfortable and convenient and can also increase the value of the apartment.
4: Maintenance
Before making a purchase decision, it is essential to consider the maintenance of the apartment. It is good to determine the maintenance schedule and who is responsible for it. You should also check the condition of the apartment to avoid buying an apartment that requires frequent repairs and maintenance.
5: Cost
The apartment cost is a significant consideration when making a purchase decision. Determining your budget and finding an apartment that fits your price range is essential, and you should also consider additional costs such as taxes, insurance, and maintenance fees.
Conclusion
Buying an apartment requires careful consideration of various aspects, including location, price, amenities, and resale value. However, one should not overlook the importance of conducting a thorough analysis of the legal and financial implications of the purchase, as well as the developer's track record and reputation.
In essence, purchasing an apartment is a multifaceted decision that requires an astute understanding of the market and an informed approach to mitigate potential risks. Therefore, buyers must seek the guidance of professionals in the field, conduct extensive research, and exercise sound judgement in making a wise investment decision! Make a good choice for investment.
