Farewell Ondeh Ondeh (椰丝球), I am going to miss putting you into my mouth. The block where the bakery was located had been torn down to make way for a new multi-function complex and the owner of the bakery had decided to retire. No more cheap and good palm sugar sweetened desiccated coconut filled glutinous rice balls to snack on. :( The triangle piece is the Steamed Tapioca/Cassava Cake (蒸木薯糕) or Kueh Ubi Kayu in Malay. It similar to the Kueh Bingka Ubi but is steamed instead of baked.

The vintage cake decorating videos makes me want to get married and have a cute vintage wedding cake. They were all so pretty I would love to imagine going out with friends or my fiancé and going to different cake shops or whatever tastings cakes and deciding what we want and discussing cute and gross marriage things that is so cute. If I did get married I’d want it in a hot air balloon like my parents I think that’s so cool and kinda romantic and I don’t know anyone that has done that expect my parents although I don’t think hot air balloons are a thing anymore? Idk. Watching the cake decorating and making videos kinda makes me want to write something particularly with Hikaru I know it’s cringe but I’ve been watching a lot of Snow Man content so my thoughts and things often mix and sometimes when I watch something, like ya’know what I’m talking about right? Like your brain just mashes things together or something idk

DEATH omg!!!!!! Some snaps from my super busy work week. Had two 14 hour shifts two days back to back. I feel like I work everyday now (I kind of do... long gone are the days of having 2 days off consecutively). I love giant green seedless grapes. The sunset was beautiful on Friday evening. I made hotpot tonight.

I bought that mini hotpot dish on a whim while shopping for ingredients, and I'm so glad I did. You can technically make hotpot in any old pot, but the ceramic keeps the heat in, and it just feels right.

Well, you can forget about meat. There was never any in the Underground that wasn't rotted or close to it... and even that costed a fortune. Since I got to the Surface, no matter what kind it is or how it's cooked, meat makes me sick. Fish is similar... but besides, the texture is disgusting.

How am I supposed to narrow it down any more than that? It doesn't matter, as long as I eat.

...Rice. Why not? There are a hundred ways you can season it and add onto it, and if by some miracle there's butter around, then fine. It's that simple. For me at least.
