ANDY BAKER: "I was very good friends with Damian for many years BEFOREe we joined the Varukers. We did a short European tour in 1984 which was a bit of a disaster for many reasons, by this time he was in a relationship with Lynda (Tam) who came to Europe with us on tour and I think that Damian wanted to try something new away from the Varukers and announced that he was leaving the band just after we got home from Europe along with Tony May, who was the bass player in the Varukers at this point. He never really said why and I’m sure he had many reasons for his actions."

TONY MAY: "No musical differences, Damian left THE VARUKERS in 1984, basically after I told him I was leaving the band, after an exhausting European Tour with the MAU MAUS (great band!). We discussed it on the ferry home from Holland and decided we would form our own band. Tam was also with us on that tour, so, as she had sung for INNOCENT VICTIMS, we asked her to join us. I actually played on the following VARUKERS songs: "Stop The Killing," "No Hope Of A Future," "Bomblast" – 23.4 84. "Blood Money," "We Have The Right," "Seek & Destroy" – 25.7.84 which are included on the "We Need No Nuclear Force" compilation LP and lastly "Live in Holland" album 84."

apparently it is wednesday my dudes

had to take spend a few days in limbo this week because i came down with a case of the HorrorsTM, but it gave me an opportunity to work on Deadweight a little bit more! i ended up writing almost 2,000 words that i didn't even end up using and i'm still a little bit cross with myself over it, but i got a solid chunk drafted oTL

Baz tilts his head and drifts down to kiss me, but I pull back with a sluggish grunt. His brows knit together in the middle in that guilty, fretful way, so I quickly shake my head.

“My breath’s minging, you don’t have to do that,” I explain, and he rolls his eyes. 

“So?”

“So kissing me will be minging.”

“You’ve snogged me with half-chewed food in your mouth, I’ve grown desensitized to all of your detritus.” He leans in again.

I grimace and lean away, pressing my fingers over the seam of his lips. “It’ll be gross!”

That was definitely a trap; he gives up the ghost and quickly redirects his attention to my palm, reaching up to tangle his fingers with mine and pin my hand against his wandering lips.

“I’ve.” Kiss. “Built.” Kiss. “An immunity.” Kiss.

He’s so fucking good. And I’m so greasy. Baz watches me dryly over my knuckles, pressing a chaste kiss to the middle one like he’s charming a debutante. (I always thought that was the sort of thing he did before I knew he was gay; charm debutantes and laze around with posh girls at expensive old-family parties, draped over all the furniture like a french model. Or a really well-dressed panther.)

“I’ll still kiss you when you’re gross, Simon,” he promises, “And when you’re ill. And when you feel like you don’t deserve it.”

Some headcanons for my poolboy!kyle and richbitch!eric au under the cut! (this is a repost, the original was posted 2018)

Liane married a very rich man when Cartman was very young

They live in LA in this ridiculous spanish style house with all white and marble interior

Liane and his husband travel a whole lot so Eric is often alone, which she feels bad about so she hires people to work at the house just so Eric had atleast some company

Eric has his own arcade at his house since he loves them but hates public places with tons of kids

Cartman is very specific about his clothes and follows the newest fashion trends

Eric, Stan and Kenny have been friends for ages

Kenny is still pretty poor and actually worked as a poolboy for the Cartmans when they were preteens and that's how they met
