What Are Risk-Free Bets And How Does It Works?
A risk-free bet is a wager that you make with a sportsbook in which you are reimbursed if you lose. The bet is usually in the form of a refund, meaning you get your money back if the bet loses. In other words, a risk-free bet is a wager that is insured against loss. If the bet loses, the stake is returned to the bettor. If the bet wins, the bettor keeps the winnings.
For example, if you bet $100 on a team to win and they lose, the book will give you $100 back.
Key Things To Know About Risk-Free Bets
There are a few things to keep in mind with risk-free bets. First, they are usually only offered on your first bet with a sportsbook. So if you sign up with a book and make a $100 bet, and it loses, you’ll get your money back. But if you win that bet, you won’t be able to get a risk-free bet on your next bet.
Second, risk-free bets usually have a maximum refund amount. So while you might be able to get your entire bet back, it’s more likely that the refund will be capped at $50 or $100. This means that if you bet $200 and lose, you’ll only get $100 back, not your entire bet.
Finally, it’s important to remember that you are still technically risking your own money when you place a risk-free bet. The sportsbook is just reimbursing you if you lose. So if you’re not comfortable with the idea of risking your own money, a risk-free bet might not be the best option for you.
Risk-free bets are usually offered by bookmakers as a way to attract new customers, or to encourage existing customers to place more bets. They are often offered as a welcome bonus, or as a special promotion.
It is also possible to make money from risk-free betting by hedging bets. This is a strategy that is often used by professional bettors. By placing two bets on different outcomes of the same event, the bettor can guarantee a profit no matter what the result of the event is.
Risk-free betting is a great way to make money from betting, but it is not without risk. It is important to understand the terms and conditions of a risk-free bet before placing it, and to be aware of the risks involved.
Tips For Maximizing Your Bet Credits
When it comes to sports betting, one of the best ways to maximize your chances of winning is to take advantage of risk-free bet offers. These offers are becoming increasingly popular among online sportsbooks, and for good reason. They provide bettors with an opportunity to place a wager without having to worry about losing their stake.
Of course, in order to take full advantage of these offers, it is important to know how they work and what to look for. In this article, we will provide some tips that will help you make the most of your bet credits.
The first thing to keep in mind is that not all risk-free bet offers are created equal. Some sportsbooks will offer a risk-free bet up to a certain amount, while others will refund your stake if your first bet loses. It is important to compare the different offers and choose the one that is most favorable to you.
Another thing to keep in mind is that not all wagers are eligible for a risk-free bet. Some sportsbooks will only allow certain types of wagers, such as moneyline or point spread bets, to be placed with bet credits. Others may put restrictions on the odds that can be used. Be sure to check the terms and conditions of the offer before placing your wager.
Once you have found an offer that you are eligible for, it is important to make sure that you are maximizing your chances of winning. One way to do this is to choose your bets carefully. If you are given a risk-free bet up to a certain amount, it usually makes sense to bet the full amount on a single choice.
Why Is Reading The Terms And Conditions Before Risk-Free Betting Important?
A specific set of guidelines and criteria apply to each risk-free betting offer. Reading the fine print is essential since it affects how refunds are handled and how they can be reapplied. In the end, many seemingly risk-free bets aren't.
As compensation for lost stakes, some sportsbooks offer site credits. Additionally, if the site credit wager succeeds, the user is paid their initial payment plus any incentives. Other businesses merely compensate the winners. They instead issue site credits as refunds (excluding the original stake). As a result, read the small print to learn how credited bets are settled. Other teams will reward you with bonus credits that can only be used within a certain timeframe or on a certain type of stake. Others, on the other hand, have certain expectations about odds. The risk-free bet odds from a Singapore sportsbook cannot be better than -250.

I couldn't resist he's just SO catboy
[I.D. a pen drawing and two pencil drawings of masky from marble hornets as a catboy. the first image is the pen drawing of masky from the shoulders up with cat ears and part of a tail visible. his mask has changed to be more cat-like, adding extra points to the corners of the eyes and an upside down "v" shaped mouth. masky tilts his head slightly to the side with a speech bubble and a question mark. image two is a drawing of masky recreating a meme of someone holding a knife to his neck, masky's head tilted up and squinting behind the mask. the last drawing is the scene where masky watches jay (who is also a catboy) sleep. masky perches on top of a dresser, sitting like a cat and watching jay. masky's tail is more visible, being quite large and fluffy. end I.D.]

Karen is missing someone.
She's an AI, so she's not exactly supposed to have "feelings" the way a human would, but... what other way is there to explain it? Someone is supposed to be in her life, and they are not. She wants them back.
The problem is, she can't find any record of why she feels this way. There are no important people in her database who are currently missing, no gaps in her code that she can find. The only curiosity is the fact that she seems to no longer be helping Spider-Man.
That used to be her prime objective. Her entire reason for being. Maybe he's the one she's missing? She can't find any data to indicate that they were close, but perhaps that is a curiosity too. Surely, if Spider-Man wore a mask with her programming for all that time, she would know who he was, would have some record of their conversations.
With FRIDAY's (and Tony's! let my guy live!) help, Karen is untethered from the Spider-Man suit. She goes searching through every piece of tech she has access to for her missing friend.
When she finds him, she'll figure out what's wrong. And she'll help him fix it. It's what she was designed to do.

I don’t know if most cis people realize this, but participating in Harry Potter fandom without any kind of disclaimer is like telling trans people “I might be a TERF.” I don’t care what the disclaimer is - maybe put like “trans rights!” or “JKR sucks” on each post or in the tags, maybe put it in your bio if you’re more active in the fandom, heck I’ll even check a linked carrd if there’s nothing else. But do something.
I don’t want to dictate what fandoms you’re in. I know there are lovely people, including trans people, who’ve chosen to stay in the Harry Potter fandom. But you need to realize that you are publicly being a fan of the work of the LIVING face of a huge hate group, who has said that being a fan of her work means supporting her beliefs. Please, give me and others a reason not to block you on sight.

Something that occurred to me this time…
… Is that Eliot deliberately brings Hardison w/ him to confront Moreau the first time. He tells Nate that he and Hardison will do it (don't worry, I also Love Hardison taking the moment to be like 'hey, are you okay?' bc those two usually express themselves through bickering so much that it clearly telegraphs just how off Eliot is being that Hardison is dropping the usual banter to be serious).
Which for one thing, says something about Eliot's confidence in Hardison in general, but also, like… Yes, Parker's probably not the choice for that introduction, it's not her style, but Nate or Sophie could also have played the part. He could have tried to go alone. But he pulls Hardison.
Obviously he's not trying to put Hardison in danger, he makes it quite clear in all other scenarios that he does not tolerate Hardison in danger (visual cues in The Gone Fishin' Job my beloveds), the others are well aware of the fact that he's Done Some Shit and are equally unaware of his connection to Moreau. And to be honest, I can't pinpoint an exact reason why I think he might have done it, chosen Hardison to be the one who finds out first. Maybe he suspected Moreau would underestimate Hardison, making him safer (relatively, if course), then someone like Nate or Sophie. Maybe he thought it would be best to have Hardison's tech skills as back up. Maybe he thought Hardison would roll w/ the punches the best. Maybe he just wanted Hardison there for morale.
I don't know, but it's a moment that didn't really occur to me the first time, but I think is actually quite meaningful in a more emotional way.

Futility and Revenge
I know I already made a post poking fun at Lang Qianqiu for it, but man, his challenge to Xie Lian really is just emblematic of MXTX’s stance on revenge.
If Lang Qianqiu and Xie Lian had fought, if Xie Lian had let Lang Qianqiu kill him, do you think he would have been satisfied? No. He wouldn't even have the peace of mind he did when he entombed Guoshi Fangxin and thought him dead. Lang Qianqiu could kill Xie Lian, but he would just come back. No matter how many times he killed him, it would never satisfy him. How could it? None of those deaths would mean anything. What does killing Xie Lian over and over again achieve? It probably would have driven Lang Qianqiu mad. Under these circumstances, by his own words, (if I die, it's fine), the only possible outcome he could truly be satisfied by is if Xie Lian kills him. He would rather die saying he sought vengeance for his family than recognize the futility of his struggle and live. He would die angry and frustrated, but able to tell himself that at least he did something. And it would be so, so fucking pointless.
I suppose the difference between Xie Lian and Lang Qianqiu is that Xie Lian knows that just because you can do something, doesn't always mean you should.
