The Zingo

My girlfriend and I were shopping one day, we were getting the usual stuff until we heard a weird rattle noise come from one of the fridges which contained some sodas. We came closer to inspect it and some guy suddenly burst out of the fridge as if he were really trying to escape… it scared the crabs apples outta me! Jessie helped the guy recover from coming out of a fridge and he looked at us with a very surprised face. He was an odd fellow… he had this headband with antennas that had googly eyes on the ends of them, they were real cute actually! He looked like some kid dressing up for Halloween and it was adorable to see (and I don’t blame him! Halloween is awesome!)

He started staring at us for a while as if he couldn’t believe what he was seeing, which is fair, we don’t exactly look like the average life form. He looked up to me and said ‘Are you aliens?!’ This is a common question we get so I just said ‘yeah’ and didn’t say anything more. He called himself ‘The Zingo’ and told us all about him being an alien which was definitely not true, I could tell a human from light years away. At some point, he started sobbing, asking us if he were a real alien and that he’d been doubting himself lately… I felt so bad for him honestly... Jessie piped in and said that if he felt like an alien then he could be one! She handed him this pin she got from a shop earlier, we didn’t know what the pin meant but the colours were pretty… Jessie loves purples and pinks. Zingo practically seemed to glow as he took the pin and pinned it to his jacket. He walked away all dainty and seemed to be in a pretty good mood. What a weird guy… but he seemed like a good person.
