Bayverse and 2007? they NEED to laugh, a light hearted relationship is perfect for him and i def see that going on with you two (: he loves how you can effortlessly can deliver a punch line when he least expects it, my personal head-canon is that all Leos like to joke around, due being introverted, the oldest sibling and the leader, Leo closes himself a lot around his brothers, the only one chill enough to truly explore that side is Rottmnt Neon Leon, so if he ever decides to test the "imma make you laugh" waters with you, thats a sign he not only trusts you, but wants to impress and deepen your relationship with him

Leo's Love language is def Quality time, he will need some time to adjust into physical touch as your way of showing appreciation, but soon enough he looks forward to it! loves to mindlessly caress your hand, back, tights when you are hanging out, gives killer massages! likes to hear about your day as you both lie down on his futon and your head is in his lap or your you are both lying down and your legs are above is tights, soon enough he will discover he's actually really into gentle touches, give him time to ge used to it tho cuz he never really considered even having a s/o, so, baby steps regarding physical affection is the way to go!

The bumps on the road; 1-he cannot deal with someone impulsive. Loves that you are independent, he likes being there for you don't get me wrong, but.. he's a busy turtle, if you cant handle yourself once in a while, that might be a deal breaker for him. Chivalry is kinda big for him tho, so let him treat you when he can, he likes to woo you sometimes so just let him lol

Ok so i know Raph is like, the gym king or whatever but if you ever briefly mention you would like to use it the one the boys have around the lair, he will "randomly"show up there, Raph will def tease him if he tries to help you out on a machine that you and Raph combined know way more than he ever could lmao. He does asks you if you would like to join him into his training sections at the dojo, he's way more comfortable in there and he swears is not as stinky as their gym after Raph uses it, really looks forward to the day you accept his invitation into teaching you some self defense moves here and there

Ok you didnt mention this like...he loves how you always reply REALLY FAST!! like at first he's taken back cuz? usually april or casey take a few good minutes even hours to respond, humans have their things to do on topside and he gets it you know? he's also relatively busy most days, so when he almost automatically gets a reply from you, Leo def got surprised on the first chats he had with you, he begins to love it how fast you can come back to him with texting, he doesnt have to worry if you are in danger after escorting you to your home, or when you are leaving college, work, yadda yadda, he knows its not extremely healthy to be on your phone 24/7 but when you are away from him, he loves it he can have almost imidiate contact with you

Over-all: Really chill relationship but still has some fire into it??? at the same time?? both of you just gets eachother, and he feels free to show his funny, daring, flirty / teasing self he almost NEVER shows to anyone, so lucky you!

I haven't thought about match-ups to be completely honest with you. I don't think it's something I'll do. However, I won't turn your request down since I haven't thought about match-ups.

I just want to say, your character is awesome as fuck! I love him! The art is fabulous too <3. With that being said, your match up has to be Donatello!

Why I've matched you up with Donnie:

The sarcasm. The thing that gives you ✨️Donatello vibes✨️. I think your character and him would be a chaotic duo, but I'd say in a good way. Sarcasm battles to see who has a sharper tongue? Most definitely <3.

Donatello, too, struggles to show his emotions / regulate emotions. I think he'd be able to tell how your character is feeling within seconds, knowing what it's like having that difficulty. I'd like to think Donatello would help your character with therapy, having to practise emotions and what they are in depth.

Now, with the schizophrenia, Donatello is a man of science. He studies biology and the human body / mind. If your character takes medication due to his schizophrenia, then Donatello is going to be the one to remind him to take his meds. Despite his difficulties in showing his emotions, I think Donatello would praise your character for taking his meds. Things like - "good job buddy."

Now, with you two being on the spectrum, I think this would be interesting. I think your character and Donnie would enjoy sharing the things they may hyperfixate on and enjoy. I think they would share their discomfort and sensory issues, if that's the case ofc.

Since it's been some time, I'm going to use this opportunity to provide some quick chapter summaries (beneath read more) to help jog your memory if you need it (beware of spoilers up to chapter 12).

Chapter 1 (Prologue): Future Leo (Leon) hurtles back to the past (present?), losing his prosthetic arm in the process. He lands six months after the events of the rottmnt movie in the timeline, where he immediately falls into Big Mama’s hands. 

Chapter 2 (Mysterious Figures and Malcontent Customers): Casey and April get fired from a job (again) after the boys crash into their workplace during a fight. They hang out on a rooftop, and all is well until they realise Leo has disappeared. They identify a running suspect in the streets and follow them down into the subway system. 

Chapter 3 (Messy Reunions): Leon grapples with a presence corrupting his thoughts and controlling his actions. The rest of the crew find both Leos, and are cornered into a fight with the older slider.

Chapter 4 (Homecoming): Leon wakes up to find himself in a home and surrounded by family he’d thought he’d never see again. Splinter catches him up to speed on how the dice fell in this timeline. Leon – fresh off losing nearly everything he’s ever loved and still grappling for a handle on this second start he doesn’t feel he deserves – lies about not knowing who was behind their attack out of fear that the team might go after them. 

Chapter 5 (The Morning After): Leo and Leon have their first real conversation/meeting. The gang have breakfast together.

Chapter 6 (Second Chances): Leon and Casey have a hard conversation. Signs of the trauma Leon’s trying to keep on the down low bubble to the surface whilst he’s spending time with Mikey. Later, the team tries to track down possible suspects as to who may have behind Leon’s mind-control. 

Chapter 7 (A Chip on His Shoulder): The team has a pizza break at Señor Hueso’s, then leaves to track down one more lead. Their efforts prove fruitless, and Leon disappears before the end of the night. Leo heads to April’s to have a chat with Casey. Leon heads to April’s to get some stitches. 

Chapter 8 (Donnie): Leon helps Donnie work on something in the garage, and the two have some time to get to know each other again.

Chapter 9 (Red Sky at Night): While Donnie’s asleep, Leon sabotages some of the progress he’s been making towards identifying Big Mama as their culprit. Leon and Raph wrestle in the dojo. Leon and Casey clear up some misunderstandings, and all is looking up.

Chapter 10 (Red Sky in the Morning): Donnie gifts Leon a new and improved arm. Leon and Leo get into another argument. Later that night, he and Leo run into each other again under less than ideal circumstances. They’re both captured by Big Mama, who lays out some new terms.

Chapter 11 (Into the Nexus): Leon tries to plan a way out. The team back home realise both Leos have disappeared. Leon has his first fight in Big Mama’s new Battle Nexus.

Chapter 12 (Lay of the Land): Leo tries to figure out how to teleport. Leon comes across a familiar face in the arena.

You know what? I’m honestly surprised there isn’t (as far as I’m aware of) a ROTTMNT 2012 crossover that takes place immediately after the Rise Boys just after defeating the Shredder and losing their Karai and through some accident one way or another they end up in the 2012 TMNT universe

But here’s the kicker: instead of usually running into the 2012 TMNT or their Kraang they run into Karai and her foot soldiers (somewhere after she takes lead of the foot clan) and being the morally-grey and fresh-out-of-losing-their-Karai trauma turtles they are they immediately attach onto her like children lost in a store

Look where I’m getting at is I just want morally-grey rise turtles hanging out with 2012 Karai and just having some not-so-innocent fun, you know? Like I feel like the fandom should make more Rise Turtles and 2012 Karai content, it would be great

I'd like a Match Up if you wanna! .o. Preferably for Rise but I'm familiar with every TMNT verse starting at '03 and forward if u thought of any others.

I'm just a gay/demisexual (a guy match plz!) demiguy (he/they) who's kinda short(?) I'm 5'5" at most but I haven't checked in a few years ngl. Appearance wise I shift between pastel or alt stuff is all.

I'm an ENTP and 9w1! I have a lot of trouble properly expressing or understanding emotions due to my Autism but I try to battle that by being blunt and asking questions! I'm also constantly stuck battling between people pleasing and my anger issues that make me wanna snap. To kinda combat that my anger is now p much pointed at myself so I don't hurt anyone or their feelings. But I'm trying to better myself with the "Do No Harm but Take No Shit" mindset. I generally make myself do my usual "im the funny friend" routine, but that lead to a lot of ppl assuming I'm stupid, so I'm trying to find a balance between that and showing other sides of myself :') I show my love through Physical Touch and Acts of Service! And I think I respond well to all Love Languages? Except I can be bad at accepting gifts bc of a dumb inner voice going "Oh so u manipulated them I to giving u smth" ...oop. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Ahh I really like Animation, Horror, and Comedy shows/movies, especially analyzing them. I kind of want kids in the future? I'd be more willing if I trusted my partner with my Lows (hopefully they trust me with theirs too ofc) or if I could skip the baby part tbh. I really enjoy baking, reading, and video games, but I like physical activities when there's a sort of clear goal? Like playing Volleyball or Soccer, but not just a general run or jog. But I'd love to travel the world in moderation too, I just want to make sure there's always a great place to come back to.

In my platonic and romantic relationships I can be frustrating bc I tend to bottle stuff up so I don't bother anyone. If I felt comfy enough and knew I didn't have to worry about my Big Fear(tm) of Abandonment then I would slowly get better at talking about things. I'm also really forgetful when it comes to my own things, like forgetting to eat, drink, or sleep or if there was anything I needed/wanted to do.. I think the only pet peeves I have is if I feel Not Heard or listened to? Or just Disregarded? I've been told with how I analyze situations but focus on emotions help others when they're in their worst moments? Like helping calm my little brother down from when angry or helping my mom or friends out of their depressive moments.

Honestly i can see both of you helping each other out into maturing and personal growth, Mikey knows he's clever and also still learning along the way, don't even consider yourself a bother into asking him questions cuz he loves to answer them, and if he doesn't know something, he can just asks his brothers!

Dr. Feelings make frequent visits in your hangouts, he constantly reminds you to unwind and has relaxing exercises if he notices you are bottling too much, and if someone ever tries to take advantage of your "people pleasing taste" Doctor Delicate Touch will also show up to yell tell the person to bug off

he understands the feeling of only being seen in "one light"- all mikey's (i mean in any version) suffer from youngest sibling syndrome - struggling with not being taken seriously, so he does gives you extra attention in everything you say, do, your feelings, thoughts, and if you mean business, so does he.

Honestly for Rottmnt Mikey i think he enjoys all love languages as well lmao, his top 3 are def words of affirmation, physical touch and quality time, he loves gifting you stuff as well, but if you ever mention those "oh i manipulated them into giving me these" thoughts he will fight /argue with you, like, every-time. He doesn't really get it, he tries to be as gentle as possible with your feelings, but on this topic things might escalate, he really likes you and wants to show it as well!

he ADORES that you like animation and horror too!! i headcanon that later on Mikey becomes a fan of horror/thriller movies and video games, everyone @ the lair gets scared to watch/play with him so he's more than thrilled to play and hangout with you, Mikey never really thought much about volley or soccer, but after meeting you he gets so addicted to it, even start to watch volleyball matches (specially woman league cuz they are the best mwah mwah chef kiss)

Mikey knows its hard for you to open up, so when you finally feel comfortable to, all eyes and ears on you, you are the main priority at the moment. He begins to notice you sometimes go non-verbal lke his brother Donnie (Canonically diagnosed with autism) so he knows how what to do to make you feel better or more comfortable depending on the situation

Okay, so everyone is basically in agreement that this is probably Jennika? Good? Good.

So I see a lot of art on here depicting what people think she would look like/what her species of turtle would be and it got me thinking about what I personally think would be a cool turtle species/design.

Immediately, her mask really stood out to me. All of the four, even with their distinctions are still similar enough that if I could choose, I think I would want a design very distinct and very different.

I thought it would be cooler if maybe her skin tone was a different color other than green, so I went looking and decided on (what I'm pretty sure) a Mexican spotted wood turtle or a painted wood turtle:

But then I thought, what if I take it a step further? If I could choose, what design would I give her? And it made me think again about how I really liked the contrast provided by the mask (and the markings.)

So, as a headcanon for (probably) Jennika's design, I would like to humbly nominate:
