Could you do ♕ ✿ ღ for Litchi and Roy/Arakune?
Tricky, but I like it!
Litchi
CHILDHOOD- Based on her appearances in-game I think she came from a very traditional family and still takes a lot of pride in the culture of it. She had a large, interconnected family, though she hasn't seen them very much ever since working for (+leaving) the government
HAPPINESS- She's a doctor, so she gets a lot of joy out of helping people! But when off the clock she likes to read and drink
LOVE- She hasn't really thought about her sexuality, honestly. Roy is the only real serious relationship she's ever had, but she supposes that if she met a nice girl that she got along with, she wouldn't be opposed to the idea of dating them
Roy
CHILDHOOD- It's kinda interesting bc we finally got some background for him only recently! Roy's an orphan, and apparently he didn't get along very well with other people due to his intelligence, so I feel like his coworkers at Sector Seven were the first real friends he had
HAPPINESS- He loves nothing more than science and solving problems, even on a day off he'll find an excuse to have a learning experience and figure out how something works.
LOVE- Bi! Though he has very little experience in dating, and he's very very awkward. Thankfully, Litchi finds it endearing

We got magazine leaks! Horizons continues to be the best Pokeani and reveals they're utilizing the DLC characters! (I hope we get Kieran too, but Carmine, Briar and Perrin!!!) The next arc begins Oct11! Also, teasing Dot's Tinkatink and Roy's Fuecoco evolving! 😁
Edit: Ep summary for HZ68!
Tumblr media
One of my complaints in JN was that it completely ignored the DLC characters. Like, it shafted about half of Galar's Gym Leaders and even the rivals until, like, episode 90 (and Bede still never appeared), but literally the only DLC character to be featured at all was the mayor of Freezington. (Mustard and Peony? Two Champion-rank Trainers, both with connections to the pasts of main characters like Leon and Rose, who would have been awesome opponents for Ash? Never appeared once.)

April to October 1977. Although the first issue of the Marvel STAR WARS comic has a cover date of July 1977, it appeared on newsstands in early April, about a month before the film debuted, and Lucasfilm first approached Marvel about a comics adaptation before the movie had even started shooting. Lucas was plainly a comics reader — as writer/editor Roy Thomas explains in a text page in the first issue, Lucas had even read Marvel's short-lived UNKNOWN WORLDS OF SCIENCE FICTION magazine — and for all Lucas's talk of Joseph Campbell mythological archetypes, the movies contain some probably non-coincidental similarities to the work of Jack Kirby, both from Marvel and DC. Lucas requested Thomas, whom he'd previously met, to write the comic, and also apparently asked for artist Carmine Infantino, who would later pencil the ongoing series, albeit not until after the adaptation of the movie was complete. The first 10 issues of the series were drawn by Howard Chaykin, who'd previously done some similar space-opera adventures, including his original "Ironwolf" strip in DC's WEIRD WORLDS in 1974–1975.
Thomas says in the text page that spreading the adaptation over six issues was his idea. That was generous for a movie adaptation (a few years later, Marvel adapted a variety of feature films, including BLADE RUNNER, in just two issues apiece), and was a fairly risky commercial move, but it paid off handsomely — I'm reasonably sure that this adaptation was by a healthy margin the most successful book Marvel published in the 1970s, going through multiple printings and being repackaged in an assortment of different ways. Unfortunately, this was before Marvel implemented its "incentive" (royalty) program for writers and artists, so it wasn't the windfall for Thomas and Chaykin that it would've been a few years later.
Tumblr media
The adaptation isn't Chaykin's best work, although the addition of Steve Leialoha as inker on issues #2 through #6 tightens up the likenesses and gives the line art a greater feeling of solidity. Since the comic was done before the movie was completed, there are some discrepancies, and the adaptation includes several scenes that were dropped from the film, including Luke running to tell his friends about witnessing the battle between Leia and Vader's ships (which Luke has seen through his macrobinoculars) and encountering Biggs. The second issue also includes Han's confrontation with Jabba the Hutt (initially spelled "Hut"), later added in the SW Special Edition. Since Thomas and Chaykin had no idea what Jabba was supposed to look like except that he was an alien, this is what they came up with:
Tumblr media
This version of Jabba reappeared twice in later issues of the series (#28 and #37, both penciled by Infantino). When Jabba's appearance was finally canonized in RETURN OF THE JEDI, Marvel made no attempt to explain the difference, which was really just as well. (If you dig around the Wookieepedia wiki, you'll find a rationalization for it that is absolutely NOT reflected in the original comics.)
Thomas and Chaykin also did the earliest post-movie stories, both in the STAR WARS title and serialized in Marvel's PIZZAZZ magazine, although these were not particularly distinguished and are really of interest only as curiosities. Thomas departed before either storyline was completed, with the comic book story wrapped up by Chaykin and Donald Glut and the PIZZAZZ serial continued by Tony DeZuñiga and Archie Goodwin. Goodwin would subsequently become the principal writer of the SW comic book until after THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK and of the newspaper strip until 1984.

Propaganda:
Roy -
"He doesn’t understand social cues (has shown that he’ll start laughing purely because others are to fit in). He’s very blunt in his feelings and is brutally honest (will say his opinions on things whether people like it or not). He gets so hyperfixated on his special interests that it kills him (So obsessed with obtaining the Azure Grimoire he stops taking care of himself and refuses to listen to other people who try to talk to him about other things and out of his search for truth, eventually gets turned into the pile of sludge known as Arakune because he’s doing physically everything he can to obtain information on his special interest). Not to mention he’s got low empathy as well (Doesn’t see why people dying to help him obtain the truth of the Azure Grimoire is bad because it’s simply just what needs to happen). This dude got mega autism."
Gon -
"has one goal that he's dead set on following no matter what it costs him. and it costs him a lot ;-;. but he views it all as necessary
has an abnormal set of morals and guidelines for how people should act. it's not twisted or anything, it just is aligned more to his own worldview rather than societal norms (this is commented on by multiple people in the series)
is "gifted" (not necessarily in school, but with other things that he views as important to learn)
his emotions are hard to discern. like, he's very expressive, but it's hard (for people who don't know him) to predict what his reaction to things will be and how strongly his reaction to things will be because it doesn't align exactly to the societal norm
he has a very very strong sense of justice and isn't afraid to do things that are out of the ordinary in order to do what's right to him"

TW// mentions of religion, murder, animal death, drugs, and child abuse
Oh my god okay so. I dreamt that all the rogues had moved into this like ancient castle that had been turned into an occult store. Specifically Christian occult because when i went to Fish Mooney from Gotham for my driving lessons i was only allowed snacks that were like traditional orthodox food or red kool-aid to represent the blood of Christ. There was also a stairwell in the church/castle that allegedly led you to a library but the further you went down it would become so dark you couldn’t see anything and you weren’t allowed to bring a light source and there seemed to be water down there and Penguin and Falcone kept trying to kill each other because one of them was the other’s bastard half brother who had been doof from phineas and ferb level horribly abused. Anyways, the rogue’s main thing was they were excited because the earth was gonna stop turning soon for an unknown amount of time as some sort of natural phenomenon.
Their other thing was demons and the demons would possess animals and Jason and Roy realized one of their daughters’ rabbits was possessed because it got a hold of a bag of take out with ketchup leaking through the bottom so he dragged the bag to make the shape of a pentagram before the guys called Donna who apparently was now an exorcist and the costume was a glittery pastel baby blue sleeveless shirt with a giant disco collar like discowing and blue pants that weren’t jeans but were the colour of jeans with big white stars going down from the hips like on the wonder girl costume and silvery/pastel baby blue go go boots and she had pastel baby blue glitter face paint curving from underneath her eyes and a half staff the same color but that had a sculpted snake curved around it like the rod of Asclepius. Donna killed the demon but was very sad about it because killing demons also kills the animals they are possessing.
Anyways, while I’m on the topic, Jason and Roy have two daughters named Meri, short for America, and Rob, short for Robin and Roy’s superhero name is Green Arrow and Jason goes by both “Red Hood” and “Macbeth fire”, although i think that name was recommended by Penguin who is his uncle because Jason’s dad is Carmine Falcone who, as mentioned earlier, were brothers in this reality. Jason has a piercing which I can’t remember if it’s on his ear or on his face but it’s a large tacky janky flat plastic green marijuana leaf with a squarish white boarder and it’s extra sad because stoner!Jason Todd might have been the only redeemable idea in this dream.
