[transcripts of the videos (which have been merged in the above upload in the order they were shared in the tweet):
1:
… The amount of risk that journalists in Sudan go through every day just to get information out of Sudan and to other countries is just incredible. The last couple of months, we’ve seen Halima Idris Salim run over by RSF soldiers; we’ve seen journalists being assassinated in their own homes; we’ve seen, just a couple of days ago, Abdelaziz Mahmoud Arja being kidnapped by the RSF for reporting on their genocide against the Masalit tribe. And through all this, we see no solidarity or willingness to protect journalists in Sudan, just radio silence.
And above this as well, we see even MPs trying to defend the UAE like Nadhim Zahawi did two weeks ago, going above and beyond to defend the UAE and the complicity in genocide, and implying that allegations against the UAE supporting the RSF is “Iranian aggression.” And Nadhim Zahawi who used his powers as an MP to pass legislation to recognize the Anfal genocide against the Kurds in Iraq is now going out of his way to defend a complicit party in genocide in Sudan right now. And we might wonder why he goes to such lengths. He was actually a middleman between RedBird IMI and the Barclay family for the potential purchase of the Telegraph by the UAE which just fell…
2:
…, which has been proven by the RSF’s own propaganda videos, that Nimr vehicles have been used by the RSF. MBBA designs anti-aircraft and anti-tank turrets for these Nimr vehicles. These same vehicles with these same turrets are being used against Sudanese, against Africans, in the west in Darfur, being used to kill us, being used to massacre us, and this must be addressed and must be opposed.
3:
… Committees and the emergency rooms on the ground right now, who—to avoid their responsibilities, the Western powers have said that they are “political actors” and will not help them as such, even though we have seen that the UN ran out of Sudan in the first five days of the war. 97% of aid that has been given to Sudanese peoples through the emergency rooms and through the Resistance Committees, and denying, simply closing their eyes and thinking that these are “political actors” is a complete lie. As well as this, the UK must stop caving in to the UAE and not, as it has done, postponed deliberations against the UAE in the United Nations.
Coming back to the media, there is—on both sides of the belligerents, we see lies being propagated by the Kezan and by the RSF. We see channels like…
4:
… was one of the last people to meet with Hemedti just weeks before the war started. And right after the UK went to the UN to try to have the Sudanese complaint against the UAE be heard, RedBird IMI dropped their bid. And Nadhim Zahawi, I guess, had some sort of tantrum about him not being able to enjoy the fruits of the blood of our people. So, we see MPs, more than just Nadhim Zahawi—there’s David Cameron, for example, who led initiatives for the UAE to buy up property here in the UK, which includes this Telegraph bid that I just mentioned—there are many MPs compromised by Emirati interests. We must combat this.

Sudan conflict: what's behind the war
March 21 (Reuters) - A conflict in Sudan that erupted in April 2023 unleashed waves of ethnic violence, created the world's worst humanitarian crisis and plunged several areas into famine.
https://www.reuters.com/world/africa/whats-behind-sudans-crisis-2023-04-17/
WHAT TRIGGERED THE VIOLENCE?
Tensions were building for months before fighting between Sudan's army and the RSF erupted in Khartoum on April 15, 2023.
The army and RSF had been in a fragile partnership after staging a coup in October 2021, which derailed a transition from the rule of Islamist autocrat Omar al-Bashir. Bashir was ousted in 2019.
The two sides clashed over an internationally backed plan that would have launched a new transition with civilian parties and required the army and the RSF to cede powers.
Specific points of dispute were the timetable for the RSF to be integrated into the regular armed forces, the chain of command between the army and RSF leaders, and the question of civilian oversight.

Im being so serious about this. While all my friends have RBF, my friend says I have Resting Sad Face. Because of this, they always think I’m upset. No, I am not mad at you, no I am not sad. I am either spaced out, thinking, or thinking of radioapple.

Hola todos, it's been a while since I posted any Sudanese campaigns and I apologize immensely for that.
Now, I've decided to focus on ThomaSerena's campaign. Their campaign is also 5k, and they're only 3k from their goal!
Please keep in mind that the proxy war in Sudan has been going on for almost 2 years now and doesn't seem to be ending anytime soon. Destructive rains and floodings have been taking over the country, which even caused Arbat's dam to collapse!
Vetted here & #5 on the "SUPPORT PEOPLE ON THE GROUD" list here. I'm also offering STEM Research commissions for them if anyone is interested
After y'alls help with Somia Ali's campaign, we managed to reach the initial goal of 5k and now they're less than 2k away from their new goal! So please offer the same for this lovely family.
I also wanna take a moment to thank @marigoldcanaries for her constant advocating for sudan and Sudanese campaigns <3

when everyone is talking about rafah, and israel passing a law allowing them to ban al jazeera, and then immediately enacting on it. here are some numbers, compiled nicely into 2 graphs
the first graph, is the SCORE reporters without borders(RSF) gave to Israel, USA, and Russia, in their world press freedom index. (higher is better)
Tumblr media
as you can see. there is a pretty big drop between 2021 and 2022, lets talk about that
In May of 2021 Israel had a military operation in gaza. on top of that, in march of 2021 israel had the 4th election since 2019, where the Likud got 24.19% of the votes, and Naftali bennett managing to form a coalition, making him the prime minister, ending the strike of netanyahu, which was the prime minister since february pf 2009, the coalition survived until November of 2022, where israel had the 5th election since 2019, the election that formed today’s government of israel, with netanyahu back as prime minister, the coalition is also known as the most extreme right wing government israel saw in years, if not in the entire history of Israel.
the next graph shows the POSITION of each country in the RSF world press freedom index(lower is better)
Tumblr media
as you can see, israel slowly started to go downwards to a freer place, with better freedom of press, until 2022 when the current government formed. and haven’t shown any signs of slowing down the suppression of the press.
in 2020: 51 journalists were killed worldwide
in 2021: 48 journalists were killed worldwide
in 2022: 57 journalists were killed worldwide
in 2023: 45 journalists were killed worldwide, the lowest since 2002!!
since October 7th over 105 journalists were killed in gaza alone. easily getting us to triple digits, something that we haven’t seen in over a decade.
currently, any website of Al jazeera except ajplus is banned and blocked in israel. (I have no idea why ajplus wasn’t blocked, but I also haven’t looked around the website, i only found out it was a thing thanks to wikipedia)
changing your DNS server to openDNS seems to bypass the ban,
using VPN seems to bypass the ban,
using the tor browser (obviously) seems to bypass the ban.
I haven’t checked google’s DNS servers but it will probably bypass the ban too.
this post is all over the place, but CHANGE YOUR DEFAULT DNS SERVER
it is very easy! i use OpenDNS, they have great tutorials explaining how to change your DNS. and it WILL bypass most of the blocked sites if your country ever try to block a site.

Defiant Protest and Growing Outcry as Christians Face Mounting Violence in Nigeria and Sudan
Edo State, Nigeria & Al Jazirah, Sudan – Protesters in Nigeria’s Middle Belt are rallying in defiance of escalating violence against Christians, while in Sudan, hidden worship services underscore a broader crisis of religious persecution. In Edo State, thousands took to the streets at Jattu junction in Auchi, as demonstrators chanted, “We are not afraid. We are not going to walk away from our…
