Please meet Rube Goldberg.

While collecting eggs a couple of weeks ago, this egg slipped out of my hands from 5 feet up above wood, wire, and cement. Quail eggs are VERY fragile when it comes to impacts, so this egg's life flash before my eyes and time slowed down as I watched the world's most ridiculous accidental cartoon egg drop.

It somehow missed every obstacle on the way down (3 shelves) in order to land upon the side of a milk jug I had dropped the day before. It bounced off of that to a couple feet away, and hit the side of a hay bale. It bounced off of that, and somehow landed on the open lip of an empty feed back laying on the floor that I had put down under the towers to prevent the cement from sinking heat from the space. The bag gently collapsed, and rolled the pristine egg to a stop back at my feet.

I stared at it in disbelief. I took it inside and candled it- not a crack in it. So I noted the pen I got it from (CER) and scribbled "dropped?" on it. I figured SURELY it would not develop after that kind of nonsense, but when I candled at lockdown, the little thing was ready to go.

So, I stuck the egg into its own hatching bag, and sure as shit, the little fucker hatched!

And as if the rest of the story is not weird enough, this is possibly the first coturnix chick in the world who didn't immediately faceplant off of a human hand in the pursuit of the cold embrace of death. It just sat there, posing with the egg. Looking around like Hm so this is what being alive is... it's alright I guess.

Gerudo Girls gone Wild

I don't like Sand. It's coarse and rough and... why do I fell like I made that joke already? Right, "Sand Slaves". Remember that one? No? Me either when I started drawing this. But I guess this could count as a sequel. Wasn't the original Idea, but I take what I get. My original Idea was Lulu in a Gerudo Outfit and I wanted to also draw Paya from Breath of the Wild. So instead of making two separate Thinks, I just combined the Ideas and called it a Day. The Advantages of being lazy. Is there Lore to this? Why is Lulu in Hyrule? How did she get there? I don't know. If I wanted her to explain that sort of Stuff she wouldn't be gagged right? So, let's keep things as they are. Drawing first, ask questions later. The First Idea was to have the Two wander around, maybe even pulling in different directions, but it seemed a bit out of Character for Paya so another Person it is. But who? Who could this mysterious Yiga-Clan be? Can you find out? I give you a Hint. It's NOT THAT HARD. HER NAME IS IN THE TITLE OF MOST OF THE GAMES. Jokes aside, I wasn't sure how to make it look enough like a generic Yiga-Clan Member and still hide her true identity without it being obvious. So now it's just obvious. But what happened to her? Did she join the Yiga-Clan? Is she under some sort of Mind Control? Or is she just pretending to be a Yiga to later claim that she had been Mind controlled by Malice? WHAT DID YOU JUST READ ABOUT LORE AROUND FOURTEEN SENTENCES AGO? I don't know, either. I just pass out for a while and then stuff like this happens. I don't know how it got to this, and I made it. What about the Background Stuff? Everything felt a bit empty, so I decided to add some Zelda related Items in the Background. Like Rupees and the Fairies from Phantom Hourglass. (That's the first DS Zelda Game you didn't play.) I think their Color matched very good with each Girl, like Paya having the Courage Fairy, since she is a very shy Girl and courage can only come out if you overcome your fears in life to become a better Person for yourself and others. You can't know what courage is without knowing fear. Or Lulu having the Power-Fairy, since Lulu Punch go brrrrr. The last thing you can spot in this is Picture is a little Piece of Shit. Right next to the Korok Seed. Speaking of those Seeds. I'm not the 1% of People that collected all 900 of them. No. I'm worse. I'm that psychopath that collected 899 and knows exactly where the last one is, but doesn't take it. By my estimation, that makes me the 1% of the 1%. Take that, Jeff Bezos. Did I mention I either right these descriptions minutes before the upload because I always forget the description, therefor making them incredible short and basic, or I wake up in the middle of the night and don't do anything else except writing down my random Thoughts I had during the drawing Progress? You can probably guess which one it is with this description. 4:41 in case you're curious. I also rarely read them again, so my last brain cell gets very confused, if people actually replay to anything in the Description. Is there more I could tell you about my Progress? Maybe, but my Main motivation behind this came from playing Breath of the Wild again. The rest just happened... Hey, Awake-Lulu here. So, about what you just read: I woke up at around 3AM and couldn't get back to sleep, so tried to come up with a Description for this picture. In retrospect, I think tired me is a lot funnier than awake me, but don't expect these sorts of Descriptions too often. I thought a lot about just deleting the Description and just make the same “I don't like Sand” Gag again and calling it a day, but I decided to keep it. It's probably a bad decision, but I don't know. I just really like how honest it was. So I couldn't get myself to delete it. In case you're wondering, I got enough sleep now, and I won't stress out over the uploads from now on. If you don't see me upload in a Week, just pretend I'm working on something bigger.

Why Amazon Sucks Reason #928374982

Almost a year ago, I ordered a copy of Rube Goldberg: Inventions from Amazon. My mistake for supporting them in anything but an emergency. I got the book on the right:

The book on the left however is the one I ordered. To be clear, this was not from "a seller on amazon," this was from AMAZON itself.

Note that it shows and claims to be the authentic book on the left above. But it was not, it was a shit-tier print-on-demand bootleg, made by Amazon itself and not Simon and Schuster as the page claimed:

They did this to others as well. Though they refused to post my review, this one got through-

I tried to report this to the publisher but the only thing I could find was an email address on their site that nobody replied to.

Well now, finally someone who is understanding and supportive of my new career curve.

I'm certain the Yiga Clan wouldn't mind me sharing a few zonai capsules with someone so helpful to their cause. Perhaps even all of their zonai devices. What would they need ten thousand rockets for anyway? They can teleport.

I hope you have a decent storage space prepared for an incoming shipment. And not to worry, with my keen eye there's no way that someone as careful as I would accidently let any confidential plans or new Yiga weapons slip past my sight and into any of the crates either.

You know, I almost forgot that there's a timeskip between Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom. I figure that during BOTW, Rubee would have been about how old Tulin is in TOTK.

The second she found out that her idol's spirit was haunting Vah Medoh, she'd frequently fly up to the perch and leave him gifts and just kinda talk to him. She never saw him, but maybe he was listening.

Okay I'm a little embarrassed to ask, but could you draw my girl Rubee meeting Revali and totally fangirling over him and him being a little weirded out (or admiring the attention and the compliments)?

For context, she completely idolised him growing up so much that she was inspired to become a Rito warrior because of him. But she faced all sorts of mockery because being a Rito warrior is seen as a dude only occupation and people are mad at her for breaking tradition.
