Rules

This is a tournament for the Christian Tumblr artist/ writing community (Christblr/ ✝️umblr/ Chrumblr/ Salt and Light).

Absolutely NO hate or troll asks will be tolerated; asks are for questions and character propaganda.

Practice good sportsmanship; this is a friendly contest, and, no matter who wins, your OC will get some 'free marketing' either way.

Have fun! Ultimately, the purpose of this bracket is to promote your OCs and get to know others' OCs as well.

Updates to the main rules:

You can send propaganda for you own characters and for your friends' characters. Propaganda is defined as any extra. promotional material, pictures, descriptions, links, etc. Example.

Propaganda in ask form is reserved for the day before your poll is posted. Please refer to the schedule. Otherwise, you are allowed to reblog the polls themselves with tags, text and pictures (or links etc etc), and your friends can do so, too.

One ask!propaganda per character, please. The rest goes into the reblogs.

You are allowed to vote for yourself.

Vote based on the character description, picture and additional propaganda, and overall based on who you find most interesting.

Don't assume our muses relationship, besides if they know each other or not in canon. I won't even assume that all Jing Yuans will view Yanqing as his son. So please, don't assume how my muses view your muse.

Rule update Growing Together

The update isn’t big since there wasn’t much to unlock but there are some things and we have the infants now as well also in the base game! And a little clarification on CAS-points.

Growing Together (GrT)

San Sequoia - Set it as a default world. This mean you can start it normally and follow the Normal start. If you want to unlock it later it will depend how many worlds you have unlocked. See the New world section in this part of the rules

Recreation center - Have unlocked the Gym, Arts center and have Nanny/Daycare unlocked

Ageing up traits

With the coming of infants, toddlers aren't the first stage anymore for which you can pick a trait. Before toddlers always got a random trait because of it. But this is going to change to infant. So... - Infant trait is always random. - Toddler trait able to choose if they get a top-notch-infant trait otherwise it has to be random. - Child trait able to choose if you get the Happy Toddler/Top-Notch-Toddler trait otherwise it has to be random. - Teen trait able to choose if you get an A as a child in school. - Young Adult trait able to choose if you get an A as a teen in school.

CAS-points / moving in new sims

I had to clarify this a little since it wasn’t really clearly described. I hope it makes more sense now! How to get them:

A sim get to level 10 Charisma and doesn't use it to open something else up

A new Community lot is unlocked

A sim Opens a Store/Vet/Restaurant (+2 extra for Legacy) 

How to use them:

You can use them right away or safe them up to move in a family or multiple sims at a time.

You can also marry townies and move them in with your played sims once you unlocked townies, increasing your population that way. However, skills, career progress or other achievements those townies made prior to moving them in does not count towards unlock requirements. (Former) Townies also can’t contribute to unlocking things, unless a CAS point is spent on them when they move into an active household. You may decide this on a case-by-case basis. So Townie A may be “just” a spouse with the soul purpose of helping bring the next generation in the world, while Townie B is moving in after a CAS point has been spent on them, being a full resident and unlocking things in their own right.

Tournament PSA

Because of the results from the Form Bracket poll all Pokemon with forms will be put into a Form Bracket and widdled down to an overall form winner before being entered into the main tournament.

If a form loses but wins the Losers Bracket, it will be added back into the tournament alongside the most popular form. This means Megas and Dynamax forms will be put into form brackets against their main forms first before going into the main tournament

Because of this for Pokemon that have forms that have already been in a poll, they will get a Redo Form Bracket. As a result, the other Pokemon that were in the original poll with them will be re-entered into the tournament. If they were in a Losers Bracket and won that Losers Bracket will need to be redone with the remaining losers from that round.

RULE UPDATE

PLEASE for the love of something, check my rules/FAQ/About me which is a pinned post. I have updated them after numerous ask box and pm issues. If you have questions please reach out, i'm not trying to be bitchy but too many people seem to be ignoring the rules and I am trying not to get upset but after the last set of asks I trashed included a bunch of my DNI topics I am posting this here in the hopes people will read my rules/FAQ/About me

For clarification, the seeding method was (for the most part) this:

Alphabetical, unless

The characters are from the same author,

The character names are too similar,

Both authors have only one OC,

It's two protagonists stacked against each other

If for example the characters was from the same author I'd move it 2 rows down, if it had too similar of a name I'd move it to the right side instead of the left side (or disperse evenly. I've seen 5 characters named James and 4 characters named Peter). If both authors had only one OC or very few OCs I tried to move them down enough rows and pair them up with the OC of somebody who submitted multiple. And I only used the last one in a few cases, cause I didn't really check the description as often as I checked the author name, if I saw that both characters were THE main one or the title character or whatnot I tried not to pit them against each other.

As any other method, this is not foolproof, but u tried to be fair to everybody and also create a more or less random distribution (hence why the alphabetical order).

Rule explanation- Shipping!

Before anything else I want to address something that has been brought up a few times now. I am not single ship. I am multi verse, multi ship and I do not have exclusives or mains. If you see a ship more active on the dash it's because that mun has sent me a lot (5986 and Saboyuki for example). The only time I go an exclusive route is if it's cannon x OC because that would mean someone stole that person's OC if there were another of that muse. I also take multiples of the same character for shipping. Gokudera could have 10 Harus and interact differently with each. Law could have 10 Sabos and 15 Namis and interact differently with each. I do however restrict on shipping my younger muses. (Kurosaki Yuzu, Kurosaki Karin, etc) and I will not ship abuser x victim (Ash and Golzine for example) or incest including found family bonds ( Bianchi x Hayato, Shamal x Hayato, etc)

Exclusive ships I do have are like AshYuki, and so on because Miyuki and Mira are my friend's OCs and if I had a dupe of it then that means someone stole her character or there's another muse by the name of Mira or whoever and in which case I would rename the ship.
