I was raised that if I’m five minutes early, I’m ten minutes late. Now that I’m an adult, I tend to arrive five minutes early or right on time, but I’m curious what other people consider to be good manners or good preparation.

Today was my daughter's sweet 16 birthday.

She requested to do the viral bookshop run for her birthday. As you can see, it was a success, and she got a really neat book lover's advent calendar from her aunt for her big day.

Her cake is the bleeding heart Taylor Swift cake, and she was super excited about it.

So was Joey, who is always down for icing.

Now, for the bad news, I'm ever so slightly delayed on When the Desert Blooms. It will be out late tomorrow or early Monday.
