Ahāryam for Day 3 of @natyakalaconference . Do we attribute a color to "WIND"? Nope! For the same reason is why Black & White are not treated as colors. While one is the sum of all possible colors, the other exists in the absence of light. Hence the two of us designed to adorn Black & White fabrics just like how the breeze would bind us a coolant. ARANGAM's Artist Showcase initiative was implemented with a strong intent to keep up with it's moto of creating arenas for performing artists across styles, gender, geographical boundaries to showcase their potential & share their experiences with art connoisseurs. Ahāryam for Day 5 of Natya Kala Conference "SKY". Have you ever witnessed a purple sky? Here's a bit of scientific info from the resent read of an article by Sarah Keith-Lucas, BBC Weather explained why the sky turns purple. It's cuz of the optical illusion of the pink wavelengths lighting up the base of the cloud (due to the low angle of the sun's rays), and these pink clouds superimposed on a dark blue sky. The combination of pink and dark blue can make the sky appear a deep purple. Our attire was inspired by this beautiful sight. .
